Authentic Greek food with great ambience. The freshness of the meat and bread transports you to Greece. We tried the chicken Gyros portion and the moussaka, both were excellent.

Delicious food and amazing cocktails. Definitely recommend this place.

We went to have dinner today. The waitress told us the only dish in the menu unavailable was the lamb. I wanted a simple wrap skewer, which was on the menu... But the waitress said they couldn't do a wrap, instead I could get a skewer as a main, and sides of pitas and fries. Their reasoning was that they didn't have many skewers left, and they were not serving it as a wrap only as a main. This didn't make any sense! The taste was ok, but nothing impressive. This is unfortunate because we used to love this place, we might not return for a while.

Authentic Greek food and cocktail bar open all day. Relaxed atmosphere, excellent service, great for families with children. The location is great, just off St James Quarter, no more than a two-minute walk from Picardy Place tram stop. We will certainly go back soon!

Fantastic restaurant with delicious authentic greek cuisine. Staff are very attentive from the moment you walk through the door and beautiful interior offers a cosy atmosphere for any occasion. Wide range of dishes and cocktails at very reasonable prices. Simple super tasty greek food, well done we will be back🍹

I had a fantastic experience at this Greek restaurant! I was seated within 10 minutes, and the staff were incredibly friendly right from the start. The food was absolutely delicious! The Greek salad was a pleasant surprise—it might seem casual, but it was marinated perfectly, and the feta was top-notch. The halloumi fries were a highlight, crispy and flavorful. I also tried the chicken sandwich in the pic -can’t remember the name, which was outstanding, especially with the yogurt sauce that added a wonderful touch. What truly stood out was the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They made the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving delicious Greek cuisine!

A truly authentic greek cuisine experience in the heart of Edinburgh. Food was amazing with plenty of options to choose from. The hidden gem are their cocktails, top quality & definitely far better that you'd normally expect from a restaurant, ask for their secret drinks menu - you won't be disappointed. Staff are friendly & attentive, atmosphere is super chilled, truly a 6 star experience!

I absolutely love this place. My husband and I come here from time by time and the food is really authentic. Today we came here after the renovation and I think they have a lovely place now, it is bigger, with the same blue and white of the greek islands, nicely made. I am happy for them because they deserve it. They are a family running restaurant and you can see they work very hard, always with a smail, quick to help and the food is so good I would eat it until I feel sick. Also, the service was very attentive, and I loved they were coming back with the water as soon as we finishes our carafe and I know it seems nothing, but this rarely happens. The price is very good for the quality you get. So... I recommend this place.

Lovely food but they had run out of chicken! We had pork gyros which were nice but would have preferred chicken. I would have had a glass of wine but it was really expensive so I didn't bother.

Perfect for a pre theatre dinner. I reserved a table online which was very easy. The food is delicious. (I had the Chicken Gyro Wrap) The service was excellent, The staff are very friendly & attentive. I have some dietary restrictions which I noted on my reservation. The waiter went through the menu with recommendations and also pointed out what I should avoid due to my alargies. Lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

We knew the opening of the new place because of Spiros, one of the senior staff. The place has great vibes and great service. You would find here quality, quantity and emotionally amazing food and drinks. I will let the picture speak for themselves. I could honestly say that it might be one of the greatest Greek restaurants around Edinburgh. I was well attended and cared for especially for my demanding breeds of keto diet. We really liked the food. We were advised at all times by the Greek waitress (sorry, I don't remember her name) who spoke practically perfect Spanish and was very friendly, great public relations for the place. It's not cheap but it's worth it. Furthermore, the kitchen does not close so you can eat at any time.

We celebrated my mother's 75th birthday and the restaurant even gave us a glass of champagne as a gift. The servers are very kind, the amount of food is huge, the atmosphere is like being in Greece again, I love it.

We visited this restaurant based on the high reviews, but left completely disappointed. The service was slow and our waiter was inattentive and actually laughed when we told him the service was bad. Also, be aware that they add a "service" charge to your bill so don't pay it if they don't deserve it!

The food is the only redeeming quality of this place. but don’t expect to get it quickly. took 45 minutes to get an order of lamb chops and salad. was completely ignored by staff. needless to say i will not be returning here

As this is newly opened and just across the road, I popped in for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by it being quite busy, but I was quickly seated. A waiter quickly attended. As it was lunch I avoided Moussaka, Retzina and Ouzo, opting for a Chicken Wrap and a fizzy cherry drink, Loux. Quickly served. Very pleased with my selection. So I left, helped out by one of the waiters, as I am disabled and there's a tricky step just outside.

Simply Greek is exactly what it says, simple yet excellent Greek food. The usual dishes such as chicken skewers, Greek salad, flat bread, beetroot and walnut salad, tzatziki were faultless and divine. Decent wine list. Very friendly efficient and dedicated staff. Finished with a complimentary lemon infused vodka. A great addition to Edinburgh’s food scene.

Great spot. Was a bit shocked and was s turn off to be charged pita bread when ordering Stsrter Tzaziki, never had that as no one would ever would spoon tzaziky down by itself.

Came in for a quick drink after work but couldn’t resist ordering a couple of the bar snacks, I ended up staying for a couple more drinks. Food was delicious, drinks were amazing, and the restaurant was beautiful. Will definitely be back for more

Visit here quite often when I need some simple comfort food. The seasoning was quite simple but generous portion and economical price. Recommended!

The restaurant was wonderful and the service was lovely. I ordered the mixed grill. The price was 17 pounds and it was enough for two people and it was special. I tried the Greek salad and it was more than wonderful and it was clear that the ingredients were fresh.

We were a group of 3 adults and a child. The staff were extremely unhelpful and did not even offer to seat us. All the tables were occupied and even on asking the wait time etc., the staff did not show any inclination to help us with a table. Never had such a bad experience with a restaurant.

We had a wrap with chicken and one with feta, both were very, very tasty and something completely different than what you would normally find in a Greek restaurant. We ordered in advance so we could get past the waiting line to just pick up our food. An absolute must when visiting Edinburgh!

Amazing amazing chicken gyros! I was blown away by just how soft and juicy the chicken is! Keep in mind that this place is extremely busy.

First time trying anything greek. We ordered the chicken gyros and I thought the food was very nice. It was a great sized portion. We got served very quickly and the prices are reasonable. The staff was also very friendly. The one side note is that the place itself is very small, so we had to wait for about 10 min outside. But overall recommend!

We LOVE this spot! Quick & friendly service, and INCREDIBLE food...especially considering the cost. We stayed in Edinburgh for a month and ended up here 2-3 times per week, as it was only a 10 min walk from our flat. Feels very local, rarely did we see tourists in this area. Get a side of oregano fries. Highly recommended!

Great wee place with delicious, authentic Greek food. We’ve ordered small mixed grill, halloumi fires with sweet chilli and pomegranate seeds, Greek salad. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Definitely will be back to try more options. £30 for 2 of us, great value for money.
