Simo's Pizzeria in Middlesbrough

Sadly, I’ve had too many takeaways from here recently 🤣 Honestly, they’re the best takeaway I’ve had, the food is incredibly well priced, it’s SO TASTY, and the staff are lovely too. I’ve been all over England, Wales and into Scotland, and every similar place I’ve tried (places that do all kebab, pizza and burgers), this is by far the best. The food is so so good and the price is better than McDonald’s. I usually hate chips from places like this because they’re typically stale and hard, but I ordered a burger last night from here and the chips were absolutely perfectly cooked; it’s the first time I’ve eaten more than 2 and even finished the lot. This is always my go to now and I recommend them to everyone! I’ve been struggling with an eating disorder for a few years, and this is the first time I’m finishing meals! Most places would charge £10+ for a pizza or a burger meal and Simo’s prices are practically half that, I genuinely couldn’t speak higher about them, they’re just too good 😭 Wish I’d tried them sooner. my ONLY issue, is that my cats try and steal it when I get home 😭 but the boxes are so strong, that my pizza is still perfect lol this is better than domino’s!

Very disappointment. They have cancelled my last 3 orders with no explanation. Wanting to collect as only down the road so can see they are open. Frustrating.

Foot lovely and piping hot, unfortunately the delivery driver gave our food to someone on our Green, and didn't deliver himself

Ordered a Mix Grill Kebab, it arrived with no donner meat. Requested a new one, waited over 30 minutes then went to the shop myself. Got my new one only to get home and discover it has no steak. How hard it it to make the correct kebab? No answer on the phone anymore.

Unfortunately wrap sent instead of a kebab but not an issue, food tasty and delivered on time

Food was OK. Delivery took over 2 hours for a pizza and a wrap and they forgot to put the chips on the wrap. Garlic tubs are tiny.

Kebabs are best in the area. Never had a bad one n been using it for years. Its better now than its ever been tbh. Always arrive within half hour, always fresh hot and tasty. Decent salad and sauce. Looking at it from outside driving past i'd never usually go in an establishment looking like that, But because I know it, It is actually nice I rarely order from anywhere else but here for kebab, chips cheese becamel sauce, and cheese tomato garlic bread anyway!

Spaghetti bolognaise has peppers, not mentioned, which I have a mild allergy to, restaurant not bothered. Chicken omelette had 2 tiny pieces of chicken, was also bland and tasteless.

Decent food; decent service; decent prices.... Not always the fastest to deliver; although perfect place to go to if you're local (walking distance)

It's a nifty take out place in middlesbrough. The only thing I have tried there is the margharita pizza and it is very tasty , thin and crispy and well priced (very reasonable). The location is convenient for locals and the pizza is reasonably priced. The staff is polite and they provide quick service. The plus is its open until 11 59pm unlike other places that close around 8pm or 9pm. I've also never been sick after eating from there so I gather they must have good hygiene practises.

Discusting won't be ordering from there anymore

I always order from here as food is usually outstanding,however the 7"pizza i ordered tonight was supposed to be a seafood pizza ,yet there was only 2 mussels and 2 shrimps on and hardly any tuna.I was very disappointed with the pizza.I am usually 100% satisfied with anything I order from here,but tonight that pizza was a big let down .

I ordered the meat feast 16” deep pan (it was more like thin and crispy) I could tell before I even opened the box that it wasn’t fresh, the smell was like burned plastic,and the taste was just awful nothing fresh or nice tasting,the customer service was fine they were pleasant people and my pizza was on time but I can’t stress enough just how disgusting the pizza was I’m actually really p****d off and wish I hadn’t wasted my money now! I was given a “free” tub of mayonnaise which was clearly watered down or at least looked like it. WONT be going again!! 🤬

So i always order from here chicken wrap and chicken burger piping hot zeno pizza (with garlic on top ) stone cold sends another 1 out and give the driver the cold 1 back yep hot without the garlic rang loads phone off furious to say the least wnjoy your rwview the pizza is rank 🤣🤣🤣

Got a pitta bread garlic and cheese on way home Thought nothing could go wrong until I noticed the pitta bread had mould on half way through eating it

I do not think there is enough seafood on the seafood pizza,however the pizzas are the best .

I always enjoy the food from here and love the seafood pizzas however I have requested extra mussels a few times and there hasn't been many mussels on and sometimes on the rare occasions there hasn't been much seafood on,but the quality of the food is outstanding ,one of my favourite pizza shops.

Was told the food here is amazing but when ordered delivery was refused because delivery driver was unwilling to leave the TS3 postcode apparently driving more than 50 feet is too hard for him

The food was delicious but the delivery guy called Sawiz smelt of curry and decided he kept on showing me his teeth his gums were bigger than his nose. But as i said the food was a 5 star.

Great place to grab a take away. The menu is very extensive and catters for all tastes. The staff are very friendly and helpful and always made to feel welcome. They do a great kid's box which means you don't need to buy more than they can maybe eat and it represents good value for money and atmosphere was wonderful.

Your food is great only down fall is when ordering fudge cake with cream use put it on top of the hot food so when delivered it looks and smells sour

Garlic bread was burnt to bit Lettuce was like dog sick Mixed.wrap was okay a supose Ps ... most warm thing on delivery was coke Ps ... coke was lovely and cold 👊👊👊

Firstly the delivery time was meant to be a hour but took a hour and a half, the drink was in the same bag as food so was warm. The Parmesan was super thin and bland and the London pizza came with no garlic on. Won't be going back again

Wont be using again ordered at 10.30 got delivery tine of 11.30 came to 11.45 and no food called was told there waiting for driver hes running late so i asked how long food has been ready they said 15 mins also told me driver will be with me in 10 mins SO THAT MEANS 25 MINS MY FOOD HAS BEEN COOKED AND LEFT shocking service id rather pay 2.50 delivery and order from somewere we no that respect a customer and deliver ahead of time

Waited 1 hour 35 minutes for delivery, food was freezing! Seafood pizza tasted stale, not sure if it was because it was freezing. Will pick up next time.

I don't normally have an issue with any orders but tonight the order has been over half hour late and still not received any food,

Waited almost 2 hours for delivery, it stated it would be delivered in 1 hour then they added 10 mins on which was okay by me, then it said at 9.10pm the food had been delivered but there was no sign of the food. I rang shop the lady said it was just leaving now after taking 10 mins to try and grasp what I was asking. 30 mins later still no food, rang back she couldn't give me a clear time of when I would get my food. It arrived at 10 pm 50 mins after it said it had been delivered. This was untrue. The Parmo was really small considering I ordered a large and the salad was soggy. Really disappointed and a waste of £15

Went to collect my order got there 10mins before and was on top of the cooker so I asked how long it had been there he took the piss and said 20mins/Half hour I said because it wasn't due for another 10minuets I use this shop quiet often and he had the cheek to say everytime I go I make a problem I was only asking as my order wasn't due to be ready yet!! So I won't be going back here again as the customer service is a load of shit!! Also told him I will take my custom elsewhere!!

Honestly don't. As much as you want to don't. I'd rather eat a tic-tac that has been rolling about in the bottom of my bag for a year.

Lamb was so tough and over cooked even my cat couldn't eat it. Kebab meat was all dried out like been left sitting on a side all night and was more of small when I ordered large.
