Papas pizza linthorpe road serves top quality customer service and excellent food. I wouldn’t go anywhere else the staff are fast with delivery, friendly and efficient. The parmos are to die for and I’m busy working my way through other things in the menu, kids love the kebabs and pizzas are fantastic made to order exactly how you want it x I uploaded a picture of there parmo topped with onions and peppers. it’s amazing YUM

I requested an order but I received another request

The Hot shot parmo tasted of nothing, with the chilli and peppers sliced sooo thin that they added nothing to the dish. The full salad consisted of white and red cabbage with 1 sloppy bit of tomato, no onion or lettuce in sight. And what was the tub of white liquid? Was that supposed to be garlic sauce as it tasted of nothing but water. This place has gone to ruin, what was once Middlesbroughs best takeaway no longer has any heart. What a shame!!

Lovely pizzas made to perfection

Papas used to be a great place for food but in recent times they've have a rapid decline in quality and service. Pizzas are a hit and miss and the donner has been terrible for the past few orders.

Ordered a few days ago and just got round to doing a review. Ordered my favourite bbq parmo with extras. The chicken was so thin I had trouble getting it on the fork with all the bech. The pizza base tasted like it was prebrought and the pizza sauce was pretty much just tomato paste from a tube. Disappointing considering they have the best reviews on foodhub.

I've been going here for years. This is the only pizza takeaway place my family will order from. The food is good and always at all affordable price and that hasn't changed over the years. I've had times where they forgot our sauces but I've called them up and they sent someone out to bring them.

Very good value had a large doner loads of meat and the chilli sauce is excellent. Also very good chips.

Called in and ordered a 12inch cheese garlic bread with Donna Meat on top. When I watched this being prepared I thought he had not put enough garlic on the base of the pizza. This proved to be the case with little to no taste of garlic, cheese was minimal with the top a crusty brown (oven to high or belt not at correct speed) was like chewing on a piece of cardboard, tried to eat it but discarded it after the first slice. Plenty of Donner meat but tasteless. Never again just awful.

Service as in delivery. Drivers are polite just delivery time let it down

Con artists at work. Did not get the food as they bunked up prices heavily for something which was cheap. Did not buy food because of this. Will not be returning

Best kebabs ever. Used to live In Middlesbrough and when ever we are through, we go here. They even jump started my wife's car when she worked near the shop. Absolutely amazing guys, food and service.

The pizza was lovely, definitely will order again.

Hot shot parmo was a bit bland and the garlic sauce was very watery and not very flavorful but the pizza and chips were good. Take cash if you go, it's cash only.

No Micky mouse establishment! This place reminds me of my childhood 30+ years ago and its not changed, absolutely great work guys 10/10 .

Lovely scran and consistently the best quality food no matter what day I order. The only pizza shop that comes to my mind when I feel like my cheeky parmo or pizza. Absolutely top class.

Papa's pizza has to be one of the if not the best pizza shops I've been to. Their consistency in the quality of food is second to none. They have been around for many years. The staff are very friendly and look after you everytime! Keep up the great work!

Would have been 5 stars but was freezing Cold when arrived. Tasted first few bits bit thought they were bit cold due to having salad on top but I was wrong it was all cold So disappointed

We got pizza and burgers, very rude staff, poor service, prices are high, worst quality ever i have. I asked for napkins but they refused and were arguing and defending to not provide napkins. Worst quality, service and behaviour ever. Very disappointing

Lovely friendly staff, the pizzas are very tasty and the parmo hotshot nice n spicy. Reasonably priced, do kebabs, burgers too. Very clean , hygenic, wash thier hands, and utensils. All freshly prepared in front of you.

Their Parmos and Pizzas have to be one of the best I have ever had especially when it comes to Parmos.

Well... I'm sure its common knowledge that Papas is the BEST pizza shop in town. Their food is consistently delicious. My favourite pizza has to be the bolognese special. If you haven't tried it... I would highly recommend it. I'm not a great Parmo fan, but my son swears by them! The food is nice, the staff is friendly and the price is relatively low for the quality of food you'll be getting. If you haven't tried Papas then you honestly don't know what you're missing out on. Give it a go - you won't be disappointed. Hope my review is helpful.

Unreal absolutely the best highly recommend wouldn't go anywhere else

Got £10 meal deal the pizza was raw missing cheese on half of it and cold chips soggy and cold burger was pink inside and the kebab meat was thick bouncy greasy and freezing and cans of pop was flat it all went in the bin wouldn’t recommend waste of time and money

Don't know whether this place has changed hands , used to be nice . Last few we've had were the worse and will be our last unfortunately. Definitely not worth ordering from here .

My friend, George F introduced me to this place and I'm glad. It's great Pizza for a great price. My mate Derek C enjoys it too.

The service and quality of the food is very poor. In my last few orders: * Hair found in food. * The food has been delivered with missing stuff such as drink, sauce, or salad. * Food has been freezing cold. * Food delivered late (1.5 - 2 hours). When you phone Papas to give feedback, they are not bothered. Very unprofessional. Papas are good at getting your money but do not seem to be bothered with offering the service & food expected.

I've had a hot shot parmesan and I can honestly say its the best I've had. Definitely better than any restaurants. 👍 picked it up aswell and the staff were really polite. 10/10 for customer service 👍🙌

Rang to order for collection, hung up on me whilst asking how long it would be so had to ring back. Got to shop yo be told they only accept cash, not covid compliant, then had to go and find a cash machine. When I returned to store to pay for my order it was full of delivery drivers and a couple of customers, none had masks on, when I eventually got my food it was cold, did not want to stay in shop any longer than I had to so just left. As part of my order I ordered onion rings, they where horrendous, they where just lihe the cheap frozen ones you buy in a budget supermarket. Will not be returning.

I have used this takeaway for a number of years and It's brilliant. Friendly, helpful staff and good food! Can get busy but food is always hot and served with a smile.

Massive thank you for the staff at Papas tonight, provided my family with crazy amount of pizzas and parmos for my birthday. Everything was spot on, pizzas parmos n chips arrived hot. Very easy ordering I thought it might be a bit tricky but they done everything spot on even ordering they were very helpful suggestion deals ect! Once again thanks guys!

Can't complain about the quality of the pizza or the price really. Only gripe being cash only business, had to drive around looking for cashpoint especially now not ideal!!

Come freezing cold and hard because it had been left for that length of time until it got delivered to my door. "Keep the change" should of said keep the food!

Small shop nice food no social distancing

I came here the other day and I was debating whether to order the tandoori hot or the Milano and then one of the wait staff a young lad had the most welcoming personality and explained which meal would be more to my preference. I then ordered the Milano and another man kindly asked me if I would like any additional toppings or specific spices I asked for extra green chillies and was surprised as to how the pizza could custom catered for you. this is by far the best pizza shop in boro and now the young lad who served me first (rackeeb) now greets me personally and I feel really comfortable and friendly with all the staff

The worst tasteless pizza I've had in middlesbrough, the base very thick, dry and tasteless, the topping if you could call in topping very dry with next to no sauce on it, was surposed to be meat feast with mushrooms, still looking for the meat, £ 6-20 totally waste of money, go to tessco £1-75 - £2-00 10 times better and much more tastier

The food was very good but the last 2 times they have accidentally messed up my order which is not very good

Me and my boyfriend went in here the other day at first we we were a bit nervous but the staff were lovely and had a conversation with us .the pizza (pizza geno) was lovely with a nice base and amount of topping definitely will be returning

Great staff best pizzas in middlesbrough

Busy shop gave us wrong order on collection and refused to change after my daughter ate 1 bite out of a extra hot pizza (which burnt her mouth). Rude staff / Manager. Will never order again from Papas after being a regular customer for 25 Years. Your loss!!!! I will also try and influence as many people I can not to use your shop. Honesty pays and people know.

Very polite staff not long to wait and very nice food

We always order chicken kebab chicken parmesan and half and half pizza with tub garlic sauce. Food us always tasty and piping hot.

Just placed my order over the phone and the man was very blunt, the last time I ordered from here the man answering the phone was lovely I suggest u place sumone who can speak half decent to the customers on the phone because if I order again from here and get spoken to like that I won't b ordering again... There is loads of pizza shops in middlesbrough I can order from.

Myself and some friends were in Middlesbrough for a weekend and we asked for recommendations for takeaway pizza. The consensus from the locals we spoke to was that for a decent halal pizza ‘Papas Pizza’ was the one. We ordered a ‘Meat Feast’ and a ‘Tandoori Hot’ and were told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Once we arrived, we were told it would be an additional 10 minutes before the pizzas were ready. We ordered two sauces (50p each) as well. Unfortunately the pizzas were not great. The base wasn’t doughy enough and the crust was hard. Furthermore, the garlic sauce was really bad. Overall, I give this place a 3 out of 5. A few more people I spoke to afterwards said that standards had dropped in recent years.

The food is amazing from here. Best Pizza in Middlesbrough. The lads are really nice and they don't make you feel uncomfortable, like in some pizza shops. The food is quick and always tasty and the place is clean. Never had any complaints! Highly recommended.

I have been using Papas pizza for the past 15 years or so and have always had great service. Very welcoming when you go in and always good hot food when ordering for delivery service. I would recommend it as they are probably the best pizza /kebab / pizza shop in Boro.

One of the young lads answered the phone was making my order to be spoken to with a horrible attitude absolutely discusting customer service always come here for food and cant fault the food its amazing and so are the other staff but that one individual has totally ruined it i will never spend my money here again

Went here last month never again pizza was not great ask for no olive and when I got it home it's like they put extra olives on. Won't be returning very poor.

Great place, great respect as soon as you walk through the door, I think that is special. Food is always great and cooked right. One of the other selling points for me is the 5 star hygiene rating.
