Went to Silver Sea last Friday, I was very impressed with the food. The service was amazing and very fast, I would recommend to anyone in the area.

Absolutely the best fish and chip shop in Sandhurst, food is always fresh and delicious 😋. Staff are all helpful, polite and chatty. Highly recommend here if your s fish and chip lover. 🐟🍟 We always get two large chips and share between two adults two children.

Had fish & chips for dinner yesterday from Silver Sea. It was a Friday night! Fish was lovely, batter not too thick. Chips were tasty too, chunky. Staff in there are always polite & friendly. Defo recommend.

We have been going here since they opened and been happy with the food. Last week we had the worst we have ever had with lots of soggy batter and hardly any fish. Sadly we are considering going somewhere else next time.

Just been to Silver Sea Sandhurst and purchased saveloy and large chips. The chips were fine but the saveloy was so hard it could of bounced. It was totally inedible.

Wonderful staff always polite and helped me even with the struggle of English because of my autism. Especially the young person working there named alfie wonderful guy hope I get to meet him again

Because the other local chip shop claimed that i wasn't in their region to delivery. Thanks again for coming out promptly, in after half hour of making the order with you. Impressed with the young lady serving. She was friendly and professional. Cod chips and mushy peas were all spot-on. The establishment was clean and wholesome feeling.

Really disappointed with my experience here I paid 50 pounds for a meal in which I never got my chips, curry or pickled egg the cod and plaice was caked in oil it dripped off and the food was cold because they forgot one of our items upon turning up we had to wait 10 minutes for that to realise they never gave us our proper order in the first place!

The best fish and chips in the Sandhurst / Yateley / Blackwater / Crowthorne area. Everything is cooked freshly to order, not sitting there drying out in the cabinet. Perfectly cooked crisp chips, really nice thin, crisp batter on the fish, never greasy. Consistently great quality. Hake, small chips and mushy peas cost £9.80, decent size portions. Highly recommended (along with the Frimley Green shop).

The food is very expensive and it takes forever for food to be ready. The atmosphere is very crouded and the staff are not nice.

I've been using this place for a while now but I think I'm finally done, I'm not a big eater however considering the price here you'd think they would be a bit more generous with the portion sizes of the chip, unless the fish was still alive when they added the chips and tried to eat itself to death, oh and just to rub salt and vinegar to the wound food comes in a big fancy box, probably saving money to cover the cost of that

Silver sea are the best fish and chip shop around! Not only for the amazing food (which my family eat nearly every other week!) But also for the lovely staff, who are always smiling and up for a chat. They're polite and welcoming, and it's always such a lovely atmosphere in there. There is nothing they won't do for their customers - for example most recently when my other half left his wallet behind they went the extra mile to get it reunited with him! So very grateful, and will only ever get fish and chips from here.

First time I tried this chippy and I’m so glad I did. I haven’t tasted chips quite like this before, they were so fresh, crispy on the outside and so fluffy and airy inside; a texture like no other. Have no idea how they achieve it! I can’t believe how I’m getting so excited about chips but they were unreal. I just hope it wasn’t a one off and the chips are always like this. Please don’t change what you do!! My only wish is if they catered for vegetarians a bit better for e.g, a cheese & onion pasty/slice and a vegan battered sausage roll would make some nice additions on the menu!

Lost a loyal customer today. The Sandhurst brance has gone downhill massively since they changed the staff. To be fair service is still ok but the lad doing the frying is not a patch on the old staff. This is the 4th order in the bounce that has gone straight into the bin. You cant even call them up to let them know. Sorry guys but you just an average chippy now.

The food is cooked to order, I normally phone my order through before ollecting it 10-15 minutes later. The cod is huge & the chips are 100% fresh. We have never had anything that isn't really tasty. The new owners have really spruced the shop up.

Usually have great fish and chips ,but tonight the fish battery was over cooked and the chips looked like they had been peeled by a 5 year old who had no idea what they were doing

Very good fish and chips, perhaps have more people working, as there was one girl working (serving, frying and packing!) and it was quite busy, felt a bit bad for her. Good food and price though. Curry sauce could be better.

Kye, the duty manager, went above and beyond. Really fantastic service. I'm won over so I'll be back. ***old review: Decided to treat myself and spend my scratch card winnings on fish and chips, so I drove over from Wokingham as this place has the best rating locally. So so disappointed :-( Haddock had soggy, tasteless batter around dry, tasteless fish. And the chips were also dry with minimal flavour. Half of it went in the bin. This was supposed to be a Friday treat after a bad week, but it was the opposite. Absolute waste of money, I won't be back

We were let down by a delivery company that sounds like kangaroo, so popped over to Silver Sea. Certainly turned a negative into a positive. The staff were friendly and professional. The food was spot on, freshly cooked, hot and tasty. Would certainly recommend.

With 40 years in food industry and a number of my own stores this store has always been bust when we have past, tonight we found our why. Without doubt the first and only time we have experienced our own quality fish and chips, perfectly cooked, fabulously presented and without question the absolute best we have experienced in the UK to date. Our ideal of perfection on every level. Perfect refreashing service, perfectly cooked food, wonderfully presented and easy to see why it has akways been busy when we have passed and it's open. Very impressed with this shop. New management really made the difference to this old favourite Chippy.

It was very busy, but the food was nice, the staff were friendly and very smiley, shared jokes between each other and a lot of whispering going on which was a bit off putting, as didn't know if it was about themselves or people waiting for their food they were all whispering behind their hands and laughing about. The fact they were all kids they obviously weren't experienced in customer service and how to behave when they had a lot of people watching them. I would highly recommend

This is probably some of the best fish and chips I've ever eaten. Haddock chips and mushy peas, fish cooked fresh and still hot by the time I got back to Wokingham to eat it. Portion of chips was about right for me however I only wish it was larger as they tasted so good, normally I can take or leave the spuds. The haddock was chunky and a good size, batter wasn't soggy or greasy, I'd normally leave the batter and the skin on the skin side but this was so good I ate most of it, only complaint is that there were a few stray scales on the skin, but what do you expect, its a fish! Will defo go back again especially as station fish in Wokingham is not looking like its ever going to reopen, Silver Sea, defo the best local chippy for me now. Cod next time 👍

It's a chip shop, they sell all the stuff you would expect. The quality is reasonably good. Nuff said.

The Young Staff are a credit to themselves and their Parents, they show a wonderful work ethic, are a super team, and serve the best fish and chips with a great amount of customer service You should all give yourselves a huge pat on the back!

Lived in Sandhurst for 16 years and for the most part went to Skippers. Tried Silver Sea tonight 9th April 2021....well, Skippers who....Silver Sea you smashed that.......Lush mate......not cheap but dont mind when the food and service is as good as that

The staff always cook your meal from scratch & so, the food is really fresh & absolutely delicious.

After previous good experiences had terrible service. Ordered for 5 people but only had 4 boxes of food when arrived home. Whilst there was told the steak & kidney pipe had split so what did We want in exchange so asked for 2 battered sausages. Despite not having the pie didn't get difference in cost. When opened order there were only 2 battered sausages when 3 were ordered (another Meal). Waited a considerable time for order. Even though we only live a stones throw away the chips were found to be cold when got home. Upset the meal for everyone. Very poor

Tried the Silver Sea again recently after previous good experiences and once again the staff were friendly and importantly the fish and chips were excellent.

Fish good but the large chips was tiny. Less than half a box, probably not even 1/3 of a box. I phoned to see if we got given the wrong size by mistake, but no answer so this could be an error but it could be you need to check you order more chips than you think....

2 meals ordered by phone. Ready on time and perfectly cooked quality fish and chips.
