(Edited Review from 2023) Vile, spent £40 pound and tipped the driver just for them to forget rice, even then the food was horrid. undercooked fish that tasted like bleach, chicken balls in batter where flavourless and hard to eat, chicken nuggets was like sandpaper, i could actually bounce them of the kitchen floor, don’t know how it’s possible for batter to be soggy and dry and the same time but it is, I actually could not eat the food, I couldn’t even give it to my dog otherwise it would RSPCA itself, never ever again will I order from here. Ps you owe me £3.60

We've had food from here about ten times now..we always order a variety of items and nothings ever disappointing. Well recommended..won't use anywhere else now..Simply the best! 😊😊😊🙌🙌

We found this takeaway by chance and have ordered 3 times in 2 weeks. The chicken fried rice and the crispy shredded chicken are both so tasty! Highly recommend!

Fabulous food, friendly service

A great variety of english and chinese meals, ive tried quite afew meals now, always looking to try something.new, there open 6 days a week except thursday what i find is by the time you prepare and buy the ingredients and meat or fish etc and turn on the gas or electric cooker its cost more to do this than just to pop to your local take away and its always nice and tasty and better cooked for you. The staff are nice friendly eneough, very reasonable prices not too expensive over 100 choices to choose from wether it lunch dinner evening meal or supper and childrens meals so a meal for everyone all ages.

So far it has been between good and edible, which is rare for a Chinese these days. Decent value, too.

Stop off for takeaway before heading for the ferry and I was not disappointed the food was gorgeous and plentiful with such big portions and very reasonably priced and had a great laugh with their delivery driver and he was so helpful directing me to an ATM , il remember this place next time we come off the ferry

Absolute gem of a chippy and the best I’ve had in a long time! All the staff are lovely esp the lady in the front who takes orders, always has time for a chat no matter how busy (and it gets busy) just fabulous service all round

Food over an hour late and get told after it's apparently left 20 minutes ago that there's nothing they can do its with the driver haha WOW nice food normally but swerve it.

Lovely lady delivered great special fried rice... good value for money will definitely be ordering from here again..

Bitterly disappointed, delivery service is atrocious, waited over hour and a half, when food arrived it was cold so handed back to the driver & called them back, asked to have food redone, 40 min later and it was in the process of being redone? They said the returned food was hot (it wasn’t) this used to be a really good Chippy, hot and sour soup is the best in the area but service has gone down hill lately which is a shame, over 2.1/2hrs it took in the end which sort of ruined the evening - I could of gone elsewhere which in hindsight would of been a better idea

Service was good, lovely and friendly staff. Food pleasant enough buy ruined for me by a nasty big hair attached to my chips.

This used to be a good takeaway.The special rice I ordered was unfit for my dog. Leftover egg fried rice with chicken and ham. Nice egg on top which I did eat. As for the chop suet roll? It was filled with soggy noodles carrot and onion. Avoid if you tike genuine chinese food

Great meals good delivery times

This is a super Chippy. Have just had a delivery with FoodHub for our supper and once again we're blown away by the quality of the food. My friend had ordered Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings and I ordered Duck in Black Pepper Sauce. Both orders were absolutely stacked with delicious ingredients. I can only hope this chippy never changes the staff. especially the chef. Best Chippy in Wallasey.

Just paid ten pound for a salt.and pepper combo box.. had 2 wings three ribs and lil portion of shredded chicken.. wpuldnt even pay a fiver for it

Find their service excellent, food brilliant, and cooked as wishes with no issues, chop suey rolls, simply delicious, never had a bad meal from them, let alone a bad chip. Most likely the best take away in the area for what they do. I usually order in store, always pleasant and chatty, on the odd occasion we are lazy, delivery is always prompt. Well done SD, it is hard to impress me, yet you do!!

Definitely the best chippy I've ever been to. I won't go anywhere else. Everything is delicious and absolutely perfect every single time.

I orderd mixed meat chop suey, when eating it there was this peice of plastic called them they sent out a different meal, then I called back 1 hour later to find out what the plastic was and assured that the plastic didn't come from there shop well if it didn't come from there shop where did it come from because it was literally opend and we started to open it...... sure if didn't come from there shop there would be no issue in them giving me it back, the women on the phone assured us she wrapped and packed the meal well she didn't cook it did she and it's clear that's where the plastic has ended up coming from!!! Won't be ordering from here again also said of we found out what it was we had called you back, surely they would call back if didn't come from there shop!!! Go to this chippy at least twice a week not any more!

Good range of meals available, and will deliver for a small charge. Some meals quick to prepare, others might take a little longer. Call ahead if you can, or be prepared to wait.

Special fried rice is 100% on point. Portion is guaranteed to make you leave some for the next day 🤣

Very slow food tastes like plastic had to go to the hospital from food poisoning save your money and NOT GO HERE
