Farmer's Arms in Wirral

I was there last night with my ancient wheel-chair bound mother and i really wanted to say how wonderful all the staff were, especially the young lady ( whose name escapes me..Chenner was it?) who helped my Mum when she had trouble getting out of the loo. Really above and beyond. Thank you

Typical local boozer, mixed crowd, male, female, young, old, in-between, probably need to start going more often.

Probably the quietest of the pubs in Wallasey Village, and no worse for it. It isn't my local, but I always enjoy visiting the Farmer's. Service is always good, and the general atmosphere is comfortable, sociable, and pleasantly lacking over amplified music, so conversation is possible!

We we're visiting the area and popped in a couple of times. The atmosphere was pleasant and friendly. Will definitely go back when back down visiting

Proper pub! Seperate rooms, well kept beer and a good choice of it. All round a classic boozer with a friendly feel.

Best pub in Wallasey, very relaxed setting, great beer choices!

Great, old school, local community pub that is favoured by regulars. Friendly staff and generally good locals. Split into four areas. There is an L shaped l, small front bar, a snug that holds around 14 to the left upon entering, a main back bar with a darts board and some TV screens and a rear yard for the smokers. Started offering food since the change of owner, but I've not eaten there, so I can't comment on the food quality. Prices are around average for the area.

Been in this pub many times over the years, it has recently changed hands and the quality of the beer has improved majorly! It is a lovely traditional pub but with the fantastic addition of a craft beer on tap as well as real ales! The Beavertown Neck oil is spot on! Great pub, give it a visit!

An excellent and traditional local pub. By the standards of today, prices are pretty good as well. I genuinely feel really sorry for the hospitality industry in these horrendous times so I'll be supporting The Farmer's as well as other local businesses and hope that they'll survive so that we can enjoy them in the future.

Still the best pint in the village

One of the only pubs left in Wallasey with real character and well kept real ale. Just recently had a small revamp to toilets and seating, also generally all interior. New real ales added to itinerary. Still got real character.

Beautiful homemade roast dinner

Very good community pub with 3 good rooms to choose from . Has a friendly vibe mainly a mature crowd. Bar staff are excellent both fast and efficient. Prices are very reasonable.

Bar staff friendly, beer always in good form, plenty of snugs to sit in. Probably better for 30+ age group

Great pub! No loud music, TV or machines to overpower the conversation, although you can catch the match here, so ideal to meet up with friends for a chat! Great friendly staff, and a welcoming clientele! Now our local!

Traditional no frills pub serving excellent well kept ales. Friendly environment and dog friendly. This was our second visit and we found it easy to make friends there.

Pleasant enough inside sadly only a few seats outside (backyard). Staff were friendly and service was fast. Was getting late on the evening when I visited and was very quiet.

Went the farmers first visit. Very cosy .selection of drinks .not tasted the food yet .the toilets need TLC. Need Cleaning regularly. Bleach bleach bleach bleach bleach a good scrub .they stink need a revamp ..I have informed environment health

Sunday lunch tasty but served lukewarm. Not impressed.told server.good portions at a good price. A pity it was not hot.

Dog friendly local neighbourhood pub, great range of beers. We held a wake for our friend Billy here. The buffet was absolutely amazing, good atmosphere and a wonderful send off for for him. A big thank you to Anna & her staff.

Good for Sunday dinner. Plenty of veg, accompanying sauces and very reasonable for what you get.

Lovely, authentic, old fashioned English pub

This is a real old style PUB. Great staff and friendly atmosphere. Only does Sunday lunch roasts but they are the best in Wallasey. Everything is fresh, prepared on Sunday morning for that serving time, no vacuum packed microwaved food.

Sunday lunch brilliant Dave the chef puts a lot of home made ingredients into his menu, ( no frozen ready meals ) well worth the visit

Came for a sunday roast, fab lovely homemade food, bargin price, great service, highly recommend - book first though.

This is a lovely pub with a great pint of Guinness. The thing that impressed me was that, after my friend bought a round, the barmaid recalled the round when I went to order. It's little things like this that make a difference. When my friend had to leave to catch a train, leaving me alone with my Guinness, two kindly gentlemen immediately invited me into their company, which I thought was lovely. I'm currently looking for an excuse to return.

I only give 1 star because I had too,I did not want to give that, dreadful place and an awful smell!!!

Anna, the landlord, showed us a great evening. We we're able to sample all the wares in 1/3 pint glasses. She even gave us some beer mats to go home with. Great atmosphere and chats with the folks. A true warm "local" pub.

Old and stuck in the past affordable drive is but that's it
