SIDS (now owned by a George I believe!) is a great pub. A place you can relax and chat. Service is great and friendly. Really is a place to chill and unwind with friends. Great to be able to visit again this week post all the various lockdowns, on a trip to Leeds 😊👍. Well worth a visit

We have visited Sid’s many times over the last year and always enjoyed the experience but our last visit on Saturday was a big disappointment. Firstly the aroma that hit the nostrils as we walked in was unpleasant to say the least. If you’re going to have an enabled toilet (that the majority of the customers use) which opens directly into the bar then you MUST invest in a good air neutraliser/freshener!! Secondly the amiable lady who usually runs the bar very efficiently was not present. Sadly the two men who were trying to replace her were uncoordinated and lacking in personality or aptitude, (I’m led to believe that one of them was the owner…..oh dear). However, the main cause for concern was the very drunk chap who was making a nuisance of himself with many of the customers, us included. Not only did the staff not encourage him to leave but they continued to serve him – well past the point at which a responsible landlord would have said enough is enough. This led to the inevitable spilled drink and broken glass, some of which came our way. I’m not saying I’ll never go back but it will probably be some time before if/when I do.

This is fast becoming one of our local haunts- the staff are lovely and friendly and the music is Fab...! I have taken a number of friends here from work and they all loved it. The staff welcome us as family- its so nice to have this friendly service in a busy city. One night the guy behind the bar was even playing some song requests for us, always a GREAT night out.!!!

Had some drinks here tonight with a few mates and the staff member made us feel like we were a hindrance to her night. Miserable as sin despite us paying £8 a cocktail. No wonder they are struggling. Don't bother.

I've been sporadically going to Sid's for a few months, before the floods cruelly halted their first run and after and I rate the place extremely highly. As others have said it is a little out of town and not too well advertised but I think good words such as this well have the place heaving in no time. Great beer selection, big on gins and they take a lot of pride in their creations. With an amazing room of sport on the bottom floor you could easily, and happily, lose a day in there!

Visited this place one Friday afternoon with friends, it had just opened and we were the first in. Quite a few people I know have recommend this place so it was good to see what the fuss was about. It's a little out of the centre of Leeds so I guess it relies on word of mouth as it won't get a great deal of passing trade due to it's location (just opposite the Adelphi). Saying that, it did start to get a bit busier later in the afternoon and they seemed to have a downstairs bit showing football matches.

Relatively new place with very nice selection of lagers and ales, Good feel to the place upstairs and great for a drop in or quick meeting. Few games and sports screens downstairs and worth watching a major sporting event there.

Great new local in Leeds. Beautiful decor in a great part of town. Many craft beer options on draft and a continual selection of gins! Love this bar.

Well I didn't even realise there was a downstairs as last time me n ma friend went in there was tape across the stairs. The bar upstairs serves some amazing gins (could do with a few scotches) but the staff always seem really nice. Downstairs...

Excellent selection of craft beers which I haven't seen in other bars in Leeds. Although I agree with other reviews, it's not cheap. Really cool interior design (love the reprints of the 'gin lane' & 'beer street'). The owner, George, makes everyone welcome. Also they...

Good drinks but not cheap. Stylish without being pretentious. It sells craft ale and obscure gin so we were all happy.

Brand new, opened for just over a week and it's clearly going to be a place to go for locals. Friendly staff who encourage conversation and actually take an interest in you-unbelievable! Good local craft beers, prices reasonable and clearly just developing their food offering....

Always been a good pub but was quiet when I was there a few months ago. However this time it was packed and had great live music (ok, it was my band: I'm a bit biased!). Great selection of cask ales and friendly crowd.

Used to be lovely but new owners don’t have a clue. Whilst the food is okay, everything else has gone down hill. Menu wise I’d suggest you advertise a quiche as a quiche, not a tart. You don’t stand a chance of hearing your party, the acoustics are shocking. As for the clientele it’s full of screaming and I mean screaming brats. So if you fancied a nice relaxing lunch with friends, I’d suggest somewhere else because it won’t happen. And the owners don’t care, that’s the sad part. Perhaps you need to advertise that you are more of a crèche than an overpriced cafe.

Called in for drinks, one weekend night out. I thoroughly enjoyed reminiscing, as I used to come here clubbing 20 odd years ago. Brilliant atmosphere & choice of drinks. Superb building too. Will be back again sometime soon hopefully ...

Buena comida, buena relación calidad-precio, gente encantadora a cargo, un entorno agradable, recomendaría totalmente el café BLT a cualquiera.
