Great place with very friendly and helpful staff

Went in for drinks only, The Staff were really friendly, service was excellent as well and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend this establishment for a good catch up with friends

We stayed for a few nights. We were comfortable We loved having two pillows each The bath/spa was very long, I loved lounging in a hot tub after a long day out touring. The shared kitchen was comfortable and offered free coffee. It also had a microwave There was no guest fridge, we hid our one small milk in the back of the staff fridge

I was here on Friday 11th October for a Pub crawl with my university society when the bouncer, after showing him my valid identity document (ID) outside, stopped only me in the line and demanded I provide him with my BANK CARD as an alternative proof of ID. Considering the safety of my bank account I asked him why and requested I provide him with a different proof of ID like my young scot card or my university ID to which he refused and insisted I provide MY BANK CARD. After begrudgingly giving it to him he looked at all my bank details FRONT AND BACK before permitting me to enter. As I was the only person of colour in this line and the fact that he did not request an alternative identification document from anyone else in the line it was very strange that he did this. My friends were naturally curious as to why this happened to which I replied "It must be because I am brown" he then interrupted our conversation and asked me if we could "have a conversation outside" about the statement I just made. I then replied no and asked him why he only asked be for other ID and my BANK CARD at that. He then stated that they usually ask for YOUNG SCOT CARDS and that he had never seen a Kenyan ID before. This directly contradicted what he did when he refused to take my young scot card at the door. I then asked him about this and asked him if his actions were racially motivated to which he had NO REPLY. Proceeded not to apologise, and I, already shaken up from the incident decided to let it go and carry on with the pub crawl. This is appalling behaviour from a bouncer that I have never before experienced and would not want any other person to experience. I insist that this matter is taken into consideration especially as an international university student of a larger community of other international students I would not recommend they go here out of fear of similar treatment. I am disgusted and wish I never came to experience such poor service.

Spent the night, can't fault anything very friendly staff they cant be anymore helpful would highly recommend to anyone next time in Aberdeen will defo be staying here again

Here we slept very peacefully. Complete rooms with all comforts. In the common hallway there is a coffee machine and some fruit. Very friendly bar staff.

The boy who works at the bar was rude. I always receive a good service when here however, this time I did not.

Pedro was the most charasmatic bar tender I have ever had. He gave the courage to meet my future wife the drinks were great, the best I've ever had. Pedro is an incredible mixologist, we had an amazing night. Would definitely recommend a night with Pedro. Will be back for more.

Bar Siberia was very good. A wide selection of drinks and a big party with music on Friday and Saturday. There is also an outdoor area. The hotel is right next door or below. You find your room through winding corridors. They are very small, but sufficient for short stays. There is also a corner with a coffee machine and seating area, but unfortunately it is very warm and stuffy. The location is perfect for Aberdeen.

We stayed here for two nights. The rooms are tiny, no power sockets next to the bed, USB socket defective, window subterranean towards a busy road. The bathroom is equally tiny, tall or big people will have problems to just sit on the toilet straight. To place two bigger bags or suitcases in the room is like playing Tetris. The community room is about 28 degrees warm and has no air. However, the coffee is good if there is water in the machine. If not, congratulations, you can go back to your room an get some from the tab because there is none next to the machine. All staff I met were friendly and efficient - no complaints. I guess the hotel is catering more towards the young crowd as the bar turns into a disco in the evenings. Average age is 12 (I am exaggerating) They serve shots, beer and a Gin Tonic that mostly tastes of chlorine because the ice cubes are made from tap water. Would I recommend the place as a hotel? Definitely No! Did I mention it is not cheap? It you want to enjoy some drinks and music, maybe.

Very happy with the apartment and location 😉 there were 7 of us on the trip.. There are 2 apartments with the same street door, but each entrance to the apartment.. So perfect for a traveling party of 8 with 2 in each room 😉 and 4 in each apartment. Short distance to shopping, bar and restaurant 😉 slightly poor cleaning of valves, noise from ventilator in kitchen.. But all in all a positive experience 😊

Fabulous hotel and bar Everything is spotless clean,nice rooms,comfy beds and so very quiet No breakfast,but there"s a space in the corridor to help yourself to tea/coffee/hot chocolate,a bowl of fruit and a vending machine for snacks If you stay in the hotel,you get discount on the food in the bar and the scran is delicious Big patio out the back and you"re allowed to smoke/vape There"s a discount on the doughnut shop next door Brilliant place in the centre of town and all the staff were awesome.. Best hotel in aberdeen..and will definitely be staying there again
