Food great service shockingly bad. The female waitress is wonderful BUT the male head waiter is shockingly bad. Had I not know how good the food was from prior visits I would have walked out. I was not made to feel welcome, I could not choose my table despite it being a smaller one. I was led to a table that was both dirty and wasn't laid properly e.g they had to wipe down the table, they then had not set their normal table mat nor cutlery. When my first course arrived before the table being set up I had to ask for the mat and cutlery. This was despite being refused a small table that was properly set up. This was a bad start to my meal which is supposed to be a pleasurable experience and one I pay for as a customer. However as per the norm the food was good. The wines in this restaurant are not that great/to my taste however. Therefore only a 3 star review this time.

Really great fresh food and lovely staff. The king prawns are sublime. We have n't been for ages, I don't know why. We need to come more often. Thank you.

Don't often see a thai restaurant in a pub looking building. The staff was so friendly, especially the young filipino waitress. Food was delicious and would come back!

I've been going to this restaurant for years and always had lovely food. Tonight however was different. I had Pad Thai with chicken which was really disappointing. Chicken covered in a thick, cornflour laden sauce. Very average. When I mentioned this to the one of the waiters he couldn't be more disinterested. He made no comment at all, just walked off!

This an amazing restaurant and the food is delicious with lots of choice. The staff are polite and helpful. Please give it a try you won't be disappointed.

A bit disappointing. Nice enough staff. Vegetarian tofu tasted like bath sponge very rubbery and not very fresh. Tiny portions}. It seems to of gone downhill somewhat.

The food is excellent, and staff friendly, but they need to prioritise restaurant goers not takeaways in the kitchen.

Always a good experience. Our food was amazing. We always have sharing platter for starters. Haven't been disappointed yet. Lovely for a girlie catch up or a romantic meal

Fantastic friendly service with good food that came out hot and full of flavour. Tables are a little close together so you can hear everyone's conversations but a great atmosphere here. If anything to take away from this is the service received which was superb.

Had such an amazing lunch here with my son, made me miss Thailand 😔, but that being said it shows how authentic the flavour was, beautiful rice. The service was as to be expected,(amazing) extremely friendly and welcoming. Cannot recommend it enough.

First time visiting and will definitely be returning. From walking in you are made to feel so welcome and the food was absolutely stunning and definitely value for money.

Eat here a couple of times a year, and consistently delicious food every time and good service, the yellow curry is one of my favourites

I'm a real fan of Thai food.mmmmmmAnd the Siam Thai is the closest to Thailand ss you'll get.

We came last night to eat at 6.30. We felt so rushed! They asked us if we were ready to order 3 times within I’d say about 10/15 minutes, what happened to waiting until menus are closed to come and ask for order? Also no time between starters and mains just felt like they couldn’t wait to get us out - we were out by 7.40. Food also was SO expensive for portion size, where is the rest of it? Left still hungry £15 for a tiny stir fry, tiny bowl of rice and starter dips were suitable for 1 person not 2 on the shared starter. To top it off no complimentary Thai crackers? Every Thai I’ve been to supply these? Instead on the menu for 4 quid and prawn crackers not Thai crackers? A shame as the food is actually delicious so I can’t fault them there.

Ordered duck got chicken, curry was decent but nothing amazing.

We went for lunch today and it was lovely. We had a starter and main for £12.95 each. Really tasty food, nice amount and service was very friendly and welcoming. Great place locally and we will highly recommend.

We had the mixed starters, which were a delight, including tasty prawn wraps, sesame toast, a crisp vegetable roll. I had a massaman vegetable curry -light and mild. He had a panang chicken curry with considerably more bite. Service was friendly and efficient throughout.

We have been here before for lunch and we’re very pleased, however this time booked for a Thursday evening and arrived 15 minutes early we received the normal welcome, but waited a long time to take order and a long time for the starters. Which were not very good value for money we were talking and then realised that it was nearly nine o’clock we arrived at seven fifteen and there was no sign of the mains arriving we asked the owner where and why and he just said coming. My son and daughter in law had a sick dog at home so we had arrived at the time that we had to go we told the owner we would leave and asked for the bill which seemed excessive for what we we actually had. A great shame as the meal was celebration of a clean bill of health after cancer it was very disappointing. Sorry but we will not be returning.

Terrible takeaway! Feel robbed. The containers were only a 3rd full. The prawn crackers were in a small freezer bag so there were only about 10. Ridiculous. Won’t be going there again!!

Unfortunately not as good as it once was. £50 take away consisted of enough food really for one person. £16 mixed starter, two measly mains and a couple of mouthfuls of pad Thai. Quality wasn’t as it used to be either, Two prawns in the pad Thai. I hate complaining but I feel robbed. Phoned up and told they will speak to the manager. Booked this restaurant 2 weeks before we intended to go. Turned up on the day at the booked time to find that they had lost our booking. The chap (whom I spoke to when booking) said sorry we can’t accommodate you as we are full you will have to come back another time……I don’t think so! Our friends had traveled a long way and we were very disappointed.

Small welcoming restaurant with friendly service and excellent authentic menu. Our two different meals were freshly cooked and very enjoyable.

I decided to give this restaurant another go after a disappointing meal a couple of years ago,unfortunately nothing had changed. I ordered the Jungle Curry and Pad Thai. I specifically mentioned to the person taking the order that I liked my food spicey as the previous experience wasn’t good. The jungle chicken curry arrived and it was just a completely tasteless brown stock/broth with bits of vegetables and very little else. Equally the pad Thai was loose and runny with more vegetables in it than even noodles, horribly tasteless. I mentioned to the chap taking orders but he just said that was how it was meant to be !!! I have eaten a lot of Thai food and never have I had such a bland watery tasteless mess as was served to me. I certainly won’t be going there again, complete waste of money.

Had not been here for three years and decided to return. It was very dark inside, needs better lighting. Lunch was fair value, but small portions of bland food. The corn fritter starter was just two tiny pieces, as were the fish cakes. The Thai pork fried rice which I have always loved here was bland and only the same sized portion of rice that my partner got with his curry and nothing else. No veg, garlic, ginger, spices or chilli in there. Just rice and a few pieces of pork. Service was good.

We went here last night & the food was amazing, The starter,main & dessert were all equally as good as each other but honestly the yellow curry is probably the best curry I’ve ever had,we will definitely be back

The food is divine and the staff attentive. Atmosphere was perfectly calm for 8 of us chatting after a long dance session!

Good food, good atmosphere, good service. Nice variety in their lunch menu with an option to add on a starter to a main. For starters, we had Thai fish cakes, prawns in filo pastry and fried battered vegetables which went really well with the special sauce that came with each starter. As for the mains, the pad thai had just the right combo of tamarind and tofu as well as moistness. The green curry was yummy, though maybe slightly on the spicy side. The tofu red curry which was actually supposed to be green (though we didn’t want to bother them to change it) was a lot milder in 🌶 levels which worked out fine in the end after a bit of switching around. Extra thumbs up for the clean and comfy restrooms. 🙂

We were staying in the area for four days so had no previous knowledge of the Siam Thai. We walked in without a booking but we’re shown to our table. Within a short space of time more people arrived, some had made a booking others hadn’t but all were shown to their table. Surprisingly there was only one Server who was waiting on every table. Notwithstanding this she coped really well, some weren’t happy about having to wait but all tables managed to receive their food whilst piping hot. The Server did explain that weeknights are usually quiet so didn’t think it necessary to have more staff which is understandable. The standard of food was excellent, well presented and good flavours running through all dishes. Although quite small, comfortable space between tables. Lots of free parking in the area too which is a bonus. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

Really delicious food! Variety of options which have always been great. Not very clear about vegan options and have to ask and explain what it means. But they were very happy to comply and were very helpful.

We visited at the weekend for the first time. The restaurant was full which we took as a good sign, and we were right! We thoroughly enjoyed our shared starter of 6 dishes, and mains of stir fry and red curry. The staff were friendly and the service was really good. We will definitely return.

Good food, good service, reasonable safety conditions, NHS covid bar code available.

The mixed starter for 2 costs just under £15 and consisted of 2 mini spring rolls, 2 thin mini chichen skewers, 2 prawns, 1 slice of pork toast and 2 empty shells with a nut in them and a pot of what looks like frozen mixed vegetables with a slither of pork to add yourselves. The spring rolls, chicken and prawns were tasty and authentic, we just wish more were given as ir seemed a little underwhelming/overpriced Green Thai chicken curry was spot on. The pork in the Thai Red curry was grey, fatty and tasteless, but decent flavour to the sauce. For £35 for 2, I wouldn't order again unfortunately.
