Me and my partner came here and got the lamb kebab each. It gave us both food poisoning and he’s got an allergy to nuts, and the kebab gave him a bad reaction, thank god he wasn’t anaphylactic.

The young lad didn't cook my burger properly it was undercooked I was hungry and spent the last of my money on getting food poisend never again from there an wen I tried to mention it I was shouted at to throw it in the bin I wished his mum had cooked it to late now

An amazing spot to try chips and gravy even at late night if you're having midnight cravings. The chips and gravy are so tasty and yum. They've also got a collection of various flavoured pizzas and combo offers if you're planning to try as in a group.

We had Sebze Kebab which was made vegan and a lamb Shish. washed down with a Rioja. Service was good and food fantastic. Large portions though so be warned!

The lady at the counter, made our day. She kind of realized we ordered the wrong meat burger for dinner and we were hesitant to re order or exchange. She was kind and sweet enough to spot us and get another one for us. Thank you if you're reading this :) . The food was awesome and a must try if you're in Liverpool. Went here last night, this was not a planned visit. On arrival the lady taking the orders was very rude. No customer service skills and looked very miserable (I should of left when I established this). The pizza was nasty. Literally all the topping slid off as soon as I picked a piece up. Will not be returning to this place, and I highly recommend that you stay away from here too! Better off going to Nabzys

What a complete rip off for an £11 mixed kebab a tiny amount of tomato , onion and shredded lettuce and about 5 tiny pieces of chicken a little bit of doner meat and a rock hard burnt piece of kofta meat ? Never again

Ridiculous prices for tasteless food. My boyfriend ordered a £9 kebab and got a "do it yourself" box with about 6 tiny pieces of meat, a mountain of lettuce and it barely tasted of anything! Didnt even touch the sides; we've had to get more food as hes still hungry. I ordered a plain chicken burger which was disgusting; it had been drenched in pepper and nearly took the roof of my mouth off Side order of chips was tasteless as anything. Absolutely shocking. Would definitely NEVER come back!

What a great find this place was. We were on a 6 night stay in Liverpool. To keep costs down we alternated between take away and meals out. My boyfriend tends to be stuck in a food rut so I wanted him to try something different. We found Shiraz when looking for somewhere else. Service was very friendly and welcoming. I tried the Biber Kozleme as a starter. Lovely peppers with feta cheese. My boyfriend had the spicy wings which he enjoyed,they came with a gorgeous bread. I commented to the waiter that i was jealous that he got the bread. For main i had Ali Nazik. Beautifully cooked chicken with aubergine and a beautiful sauce and garlic yoghurt. It was served with half chips half rice and salad oh and the gorgeous bread. My other half had a lamb kebab again with half chips half rice and the lovely bread. Our waiter kindly brought us extra bread as i loved it so much. Portions were huge. Im a big eater and even i struggled. We enjoyed the food so much that we went back on our last night. We were late out but they still had space for us. Service again very friendly. I tried a hot meze and opted for Hellim grilled cheese which was lovely and very filling my other half tried the spicy sausage with bread which was lovely. I opted for iskender another chicken dish with yoghurt and sauce,chicken again beautifully tender. My fella had the minced lamb kebab. Again all came with chips,rice and salad. Great restaurant. Will definitely visit again if i am in the area. A

The food, the wine, the music and especially the staff. Everything was perfection. I could not find anything to fault the restaurant. The toilet and Covid-19 precautions taken were exemptionary. Very friendly staff and the food is classic Turkish cuisine. Great selection of mezes (I went for spinach one), lamb kebab, fried halloumi and grilled chicken were all wonderful. Portions are big and served fast.

We were recommended this restaurant by a friend who came to uni in Liverpool and we were not diss appointed. We were served by Courtney and Nicola who were both very happy and smiley and really prompt and punctual, and the food was unreal, will defo be returning

Worst customer service ever! Worst people to deal with. Ordered tonight and spoke to the restaurant one minute about order arrival ETA, the next minute rider leaves a voicemail that they’ve already left as apparently my phone was off. It wasn’t and I had just spoken to the restaurant. I was even ok to go and collect my order in person but the staff was literally shouting on the phone, he was very disrespectful. I was calm in the beginning but the guy was too rude. I’d never recommend this place especially because of their customer service. Really put me off.

As lover of the good Turkish Food we decide to go Shiraz. Fast service and very friendly! Unfortunately the food was more for the British taste. All the good Turkish spices were missing in the Sucuk...Muska Boregi...Aubergine Tarator...Mixes Kebab and others. All dishes were overloaded of vegetables and starch. My suggestion is to reduce the dishes size and improve the meat quality!

The WORST value of ANY Kebab takeaway I have ever come across. £8 for a sausage and 5 little pieces of chicken. When I asked the lady behind the counter if I had been given the wrong food, such was my DISBELIEF at the meager offering I had been handed, all she did was give a wry smile and shrug her shoulders. If the quality of this food had been great, perhaps I could of understood the price, but sadly, no, it was as average as you could expect. TRULY AWFUL EAT THERE AT YOUR PERIL!!

I travel the entire UK and my go to is lamb shish. This was the smallest portion I have ever received! Lamb was cooked well but Edgeware Rd in London would have given an adult portion for same price! Rip off!

We came here a year ago and were blown away..we came back tonight for our anniversary not expecting much so as not to be disappointed if it wasn’t as good as a year ago..how wrong we were! We walked in to the little restaurant and took an available table (not a lot to choose from as they were so busy!!!) as soon as we sat down Amir asked if we were okay and comfortable where we had chosen! Excellent customer service by Amir and Kelly!! We watched our chicken iskender being cooked on the open grill and the smells were fantastic..we got our food and the portions were so generous that even though my boyfriend and I shared a main and 2 starters (apparently)!! we are absolutely stuffed..it is top quality food..top quality staff..top quality chefs..and I cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you so much!!!!!

I was so impressed by the food and service we received at Shiraz. The food was delicious and cooked fresh! The portions were huge compared to the cost of the meal. We shared a starter for two and had a main each which was way too much food - You do not need a starter the main kebab courses are huge. The decor is cosy bit basic but the it is excellent value and serves delicious food! I would 100% return to Shiraz.

No he estado aquí por un tiempo, pero decidí parar y comprar la lubina, me saludaron nuevas caras, una mujer con una mirada miserable en su rostro, no me dijo nada, pero me miró como si decir 'que quieres'? Le di mi pedido, solo la escribió en la caja y me dio el precio tan miserable. El tipo que estaba en la parte de atrás de quien me imagino que era el nuevo propietario era tan miserable y entre ellos no tenía ninguna habilidad de servicio al cliente. Mis alitas de pollo a la parrilla picantes me fueron empujadas a través del mostrador de manera silenciosa y ella se dio la vuelta sin decir una palabra como si ni siquiera pudiera molestarse en hacer o decir nada, lo que me hizo decidir no volver. ¡Los dos estaban en silencio, sin emociones y sin compromiso!

Forgotten the sauces and bread the last 3 times we've been. Just did it again, lied before I left saying they were definitely in the bag. Didn't bother arguing as I'd spent 2 minutes going over the extra 5iver they tried to stick on the bill. Garlic bread was just black, inedible. Never going again. Barely any grasp of English when you have a problem as well.

I study at the University and often go there for lunch and dinner. Totally recommend. The staff are friendly. Meals are delicious with good price. And their service is also very efficient.

Decidí conseguir sumat para comer desde aquí. Absolutamente impactante. La peor comida que he tenido. Tres de nosotros pedimos pizza (no quemó sabor), hamburguesa de pollo no cocinada y desagradable salsa de chili. Y Nan Kebab pero sin Nan, solo una sábana que actúa como un naan. 4 piezas de pollo crudo absolutamente vil. Contador de la calle Rude a otros clientes que no podían hablar inglés. He estado en malos lugares para comer, pero este es el ganador por lejos. Mantente alejado amigos

Pedí una sencilla envoltura de pollo a la parrilla, lechuga y mayonesa, llegué a casa, y era como una envoltura de sopa, muy pasada, simplemente se deshizo en mi mano, el pollo puesto en la envoltura eran enormes trozos,. . básicamente no hay entusiasmo, habilidades de cocina o servicio al cliente. Es obviamente una típica casa de kabab que se especializa en cocinar para los borrachos después de las 12.

Saben que un host bueno es cuando reconoce que ni siquiera están allí sólo una vez al año. Y el jefe viene a usted, batidos la mano, y te da una cálida bienvenida y toma un poco de tiempo para hablar. Era sólo un breve período donde Shiraz era manejado bei los indios, los iraníes están de vuelta. Gracias Ali por nosotros tan amable y acogedor para su estancia! Das Shiraz BBQ ist nun offenbar in indischen Händen, hat aber nichts von seiner leckeren Essensqualität eingebüßt. Schneller Service, große Auswahl an Saucen, riesige Portionen, gute Preise, eine sehr gute Imbißbude, nach wie vor.

This smallish venue used to be Shiraz cafe however for the last couple of years its been a more fast food kind of joint.I visited Friday evening and ordered a Special Kebab for £6.50, it was the best I've had in Liverpool with three different types of Kebab meat and a really fresh salad.You can eat in.Absolutely superb .

Ordered a special kebab on Saturday 14th December at a cost of £8.50. After waiting over 30 minutes was presented with 6 small chunks of mixed meat and a spoonful of salad. When enquired was informed by the unfriendly staff that this is correct and is what you would pay in a restaurant. Only thing is that this was not a resteraunt.

Whilst spending a year in Liverpool studying for my MA I was both on a budget of time and money and Shiraz sorted both of these issues out for me. The food is all freshly prepared and very quickly (no faffing about), the prices are extremely cheap (especially for the Student Pizza deal which I truly recommend) and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. I also took my friends whom visited me from the South here and they equally liked the place. Liverpool's best takeaway wish Bristol had one.

One of many options on Hardman street. Being in Liverpool once a year it always leads us there. It's cheap, staff remembers us even after one year, food is great, does not take long and is quite cheap. Do I want more? No :)

We call at the Shiraz when we feel like a quick fill-up while in the area. We have a vegetarian pizza, which is freshly prepared, very good, and excellent value.
