Went to thus pub . Very dingy not really how a pub restaurant should be but ordered hoping the food would be nice . Nope pre cooked heated up dry ribs and chicken satay. Over all the food was very low standard in comparison to other Chinese restaurants and takeaways . Really not worth the money . Weird place to be honest . If you’re used to high standard of even medium standard avoid this place .

Food was lovely. Restaurant was nice but quiet. Could also do with Guest WiFi.

What a find! Collected a takeaway and my extremely fussy husband said his chicken in orange sauce was "gorgeous". I almost fell over, lol. I ate the salt & pepper chicken starter followed by kung po prawns, so tasty and delicious! The portion sizes were huge, like 1980's size (that's double of today) Next time which will be soon, we will both go in for a beer.

Special chow mein that we went to collect had no sauce prawns were still frozen and was so greasy with oil. Even my daughter could not eat the rice with sweet and sour sauce Put straight in the bin as I’m not driving back. Not going back.

Best Chinese around, always good, never had a bad meal.

Not accommodating at all . Wanted to swap 1 dish to a cheaper dish saving them money was very ignorant and rude. Thought we would try somewhere new .. Will definitely avoid like the perverbial . Sooner spend my money in a politer establishment!!

Felt uncomfortable, no atmosphere, lights were off on arrival, room was cold, table not set. Food was good, but took a long time to come.

We waited an hour and a half! Ordered at 7, went to collect at 7.45, and had to wait until 8.30 to get our order. Food was really delicious, so 4 star.

Ordered a large takeaway for eight people and must say it was one of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve had in ages. Ready in about 40 mins and even had a drink and a quick game of pool at the bar while I waited. Would recommend.

Very much under supported pub and restaurant, 7:30 on a Friday night and there was only 1 person in the bar and we were the only restaurant customers. The phone didn't stop ringing, so I guess most of there trade is takeaway. Food was good and hot and we had an enjoyable evening. Resonably priced food & drink. Deserves to do better, decor could use a spruce up, but that's the only negative point I can make.

We've picked up takeaways from here a couple of times whilst staying at Norfolk Woods, so thought we'd try their delivery service this time. Phoned up and was told 45 mins - 1 hour wait. After 1 hr 15 mins I rang again to discover they hadn't even started cooking our food yet! Not sure what the problem was, but it's put me off using them again which is a shame because the food and prices are both great.

Food was very bland. But thats my opinion from my taste buds, but i do know others who absolutely loved this place

Loved the food at this place, you have to walk through the ship inn bar to get to the restaurant. However it is worth a visit. The food was outstanding and the service was second to none. The parking is spacious and there is wheelchair access throughout. I didn't realise there was a pub here, it has pool and I will definitely visit again. The food was worth the money!

We were stopping in Norfolk Woods spa and ordered a takeaway for delivery. I can say it was one of the best takeaways we have had. Ordering was easy, delivery was great and food was great. Highly recommend

Lovely food. We were staying at the nearby Norfolk Woods resort and just drove there (5 minutes away). A little slow in preparing the food so maybe better to ring ahead, but worth the wait. 👌

This isn't a place l want to eat a Chinese meal the chow main starchy,the ribs,needed to soak into the sauce and what colour is that for spare ribs,sweet and sour prawns, acceptable,not again,question is it a pub with no life or a take away DULL!!!!

Below standard food. Will not be visiting again. I do not write reviews often but this was really quite bad. Prawn toast incredibly thin and not sure there was any prawn. Crab and sweetcorn soup - below hard to describe with stringy pieces of what I assume was the crab eat? Salt and pepper chicken didn't have any flavour Crispy seaweed had more sugar than I have ever tasted in my life. It was covered in it. Egg fried rice - average Beef chow mein - lack of flavour

Tasty chinese food. They use plenty of chilli which I presume is a ploy to raise drink sales on the all you can eat menu. Still it was very nice.

The food was bland and dry. Overpriced and a real waste of money. Won't be ordering again. The place is dark and dingy and not welcoming in the slightest. Dirty and I can only imagine what the kitchen is like!

Nice curry but the service is poor. Delivery took 2 hours by what point we didn't fancy it anymore. Steak is fatty and nasty. And the delivery drivers are very rude they shouldn't be employed they let the place down!

Food was amazing, very fresh and piping hot and generous portions. Restaurant was clean and tidy and staff friendly. Would definitely use again if on holiday again in the area. Would give a 5star but felt like the outside could do with a tidy up and needed more of a Chinese restaurant atomsphere so for first timers was a little worrying. But can honestly say never judge a book by its cover!!! Thanks for the good food and service!!

I’ve been using the Ship in for 4 years now and the food has always been great but lately the service has been getting worse. No card payments over the phone and this evening I ordered food at 19:00 and was told would be an hour and a half still no sign at 21:00 so I called they said it would leave in 10 minuets still no sign at 21:45!! Nearly 3 hours and still no food so I cancelled my order. A complete joke! Sort it out guys or I will be finding someone else!!

Lovely restaurant/bar with a relaxed atmosphere. Great taxing food. Friendly staff and a take away/home delivery service too.

When I do get a Chinese, I always go here. Nice food for food prices and big ass portions.

Very rude staff! Very rude delivery staff, calling me all kinds of names and insulting my father. Then the manager and the men in there told the delivery "girl" to beat me up. Not impressed, and shall not be returning as the food is awful and over priced 🐶

All you can eat buffet menu is the best! Valid on weekdays and after 8pm on weekends.

Take out is alway red hot. food is lovely. highly recommended.

We have recently moved to Swaffham and looked on line for a local Chinese to eat-in rather than a take a way which is all the town has to offer. On the Sunday we went to try it out, the eating area was like sitting in a fridge and we were as cold as the starter when it arrived. Before our main course was brought to the table warmed dishes were placed in front of us to put the food in, unfortunately by the time it came the dishes had got cold resulting in the food being cold again. The owner sat in the bar most of the time we were there and hardly acknowledged us even when my saying that we had come to try his food. For what we paid in my opinion it was NOT good value for money and we will not be going back.

Went there last Sunday. Was surprised how good it was. The service was superb and the food very tasty. Definitely the best Chinese Restaurant in this area.

Thought we would try this place out. What a pleasant surprise! Good food, good service. We will certainly be coming back. Best place in Norfolk I should think!

Yuk! Smells damp food was second rate and almost cold with no flavours. The place is a real mess inside and out!!

Very good restaurant. The all you can eat menu is very reasonable with an excellent selection. Definitely a family favorite.
