Tried this place for the first time tonight and probably the last. We ordered 3 curries, a chicken tikka massala and 2 chicken tikka pathia. When the food arrived, I kid you not, but the foil trays that the curry is in was just about half full!!. That was every single one. I rang back to complain and he had the audacity to ask for a picture!! Nonetheless, I had a picture and asked him to provide an mobile number by messaging me on mine to then send the image to. He never provided one. Don't bother wasting your money on half portions with this lot, spend a little more and get a proper curry portion from a proper takeaway.

charged prices for special meals and just sent chicken no lamb or prawn absolute rip offs

Ordered quite late however they still made the food on time and was very helpful when picking what to get! Food was piping hot and tasted amazing. Keep up the good work Shimla Spice!

This is one of the best Indian take outs I have been to. The curry was on point and the flavours were incredible. My friend had recommended this and I was not disappointed. The workers are really friendly and patient with me over the phone. I will definitely be coming back here.

One item was missing however they did send the item out after me phoning. The curries were awful, was just like chewing shredded coconut and had no taste at all, never had curry like it!

The Kebab and Chips was great as always, never have an issue with these lot. They are my go to for an indian takeaway. I highly recommend these lot.

Tasteless and burnt, not impressed atall

First time I have tried this Indian but it is the best Indian delivering here on just eat for sure. Every dish was top notch and all arrived hot and on time .

Absolutely smashed it as always, kebab was fresh and smoking hot! Delivered in time aswell. I reccomend this place been going for the past few weeks and hadn’t had a single complaint.

Worse service ever I try pay online Declined so I paid cash food come wasn't the worse I come back to my phone an been charged again so after the declined my payment they took it anyway so has I already paid cash tried ring them nothing this was Sunday so I try ring Monday was close so I wanted till today Tuesday I rang to explain what's gone on for him to say he doesn't know his drivers or any sort a contract for them so they basically took my money and doing nothing about an won't even send the food again as am a Regular customer fuminggggggg never ever order

3 hours after ordering, being refused a refund with the excuse of traffic being bad (I live a 2 minute WALK away, but have a small child in bed). Can't get through on their phone line, horrendous service!

still waiting for my food right now. it's quarter past 9. i ordered it at 6. we've decided to make our own tea now. we've rang 15 times and it keeps going to answer phone so i'm having to communicate through a review, been going for years, about to give them 60 quid as well? for food 3 hours late cold and watery?

Today was the first time we have eaten from here and not been satisfied. Some of the food was barely warm , poppadoms were stale, and the taste of the curry was boring. We will try eating from here again as normally it's great.

The best Indian around BY FAR!, trust me, I’ve tried many, never a bad meal, great value, great service from the young lad on the phone, they get to know you, and make it personal, the ‘create your own special’, I would recommend to anyone, excellent value would recommend picking up -

Food was late however, rang the restaurant and was very helpful and food was delicious. And I was given extra drinks and poppdoms to compensate. Curry could do with a bit more chicken in but other than that no complaints. Hot, tasty and very enjoyable!!

The naan bread was undercooked and the masala had little chicken than I would have hoped for.

Used this restaurant regularly. Wouldn’t use again. Second time back food in few weeks. Food was inedible. Lamb chops were charcoaled and could not be eaten. Chicken in curry was burnt. Delivery was 40 mins late. Not sure if new owners or new chef but won’t be using again.

Over an hour late despite being 1 mile from my home , restaurant refused to answer my calls and refused any kind of partial refund By the time it arrived the food was spoiled and cold would not order here again

absolutely awful food was shocking curry from what i could tell was frozen and reheated please dont waste your money here find somewhere else.

Really disappointing, food bland, chips very soggy & luke warm, tikka taste wasnt quite right, after waiting from 7pm food only arrived 9.15pm by this time far too late to eat & enjoy, rang multiple times iver the last 40mins, constantly told 5mins, waiting for driver, understaffed..if you that understaffed don't accept so many orders... really let down

Order was missing a portion of rice. Called the shop immediately (1830hrs) and was told it would be delivered in 10 minutes. 1855hrs and still not here.

Ordered at 8pm, estimated delivery 21:05-21:25, expected as it was a Friday, food turned up at 22:15, phoned them at 2145 was told the driver was 3 minutes away, clearly wasn’t, popadoms was stale to start with, food was cold the sauce in the curries was grainy, won’t order from here again.

Always order from here never had a problem before but tonight the food was 1hr and 20 mins late - when it arrived it was missing a madras sauce so husband not happy at all - delivery lady was lovely and apologetic, normally wouldn't be bothered but both been working today and we're literally having to stay awake for the food to arrive 😴😭 I get that they may be busy but at least get the order right after we waited so long

Pre ordered food to be delivered at 7pm, got notification that it had been delayed and would be delivered at 7:20. At 8pm I called the restaurant and was told it would be 10 minutes - finally arrived at 8:30 !!

Absolutely spot on. Mint food and mint service. Would reccomend if you want some absolutely banging curry’s.

Ordered at 6pm, estimated delivery 6.55-7.15pm, text updated me it was delayed, new estimated delivery 7.20-7.40pm. Called restauraunt at 7.40, was told another 15 mins. Just Eat now shows as delivered but food still not arrived hence rating low as there is no food for me to rate.

Disgusting waited 2 hours and when I rang to ask were it was they said they had cancelled the order and was not going to refund as the driver was stuck in heavy traffic it’s 9pm and I live 15 mins away! Shocking service!!

Always order from here but Iv notice the portions are smaller and they missed a naan bread it’s the first time they have ever missed a item of my order and nearly a hour later then expect normal early or bang on time, bit disappointment this time. 😏

Food is always nice here, been going for year's but the past few times it's been really salty, too salty to finish which was disappointing.

Absolutely ruined our family evening. Ordered at 720pm, delivered 2 hours 40 minutes later! Previous positive experience here but tonight was a complete let down. Have lost a loyal customer as result. Will collect my own from Curry Pot in future !

Cannot fault the food or delivery. Ordered set meal for 1 and it would of fed 2 easily. Chicken was nice and tender and tikka sauce not sickly sweet. Onion bhajis were stunning, crispy outside and cooked nicely in the middle. Will define ordering from these guys again
