Jomuna Indian Takeaway in Wigan

Used this place for years and has never failed us. Always hot, always complete order and most of all always good.

They wouldn't deliver BUT yet have done before so myself and my family were very disappointed 😔

Vindaloo was tasteless and had zero spice, chicken was very dry. Lamb chop starter was good.

The food was lovely very tasty but delivery was quite late, would definitely recommend on the basis that the food was good.

Food was poor just warm and the lamb was tuff as old boots couldn't chew it and threw most away

Lamb very chewy and fatty . Had good in the past from here. Too much peppers , onions in the dupiaza

Curry had too much oil in it for my liking. Will probably not order again from here

Ok where to start lamb tikka, what in the industry is called beef lamb, tough to eat flavourless, Nan breads doughy small as well,the main vindaloo more like chicken gravy with frozen chicken pieces,who ever has scored this food as good ,never had a proper Indian, me personally avoid aviod cheap ingredients, charge a fortune.

We ordered donner on cheesy nan that was so nice and spicy. We also got a couple of curries, which were fresh and mouth watering. The customer service was brilliant very friendly. I'll be back again!

Kebab I payed £8 had a spoonfull of sauce 3 small pieces of chicken and 3 small pieces of lamb. total rip off

Great food as always and arrived earlier than stated.

Food was cold, silly amount of oil in the curries, kids nuggets looked sketchy. Nearly two hours in total for food to come. Avoid.

driver not at all friendly, he just dumped it on the door step and walked away without a word. although the food is excellent that's the only down fall for this service

Tikka Massala wasn’t mild, had a spice to it

Did not arrive and so I rang to enquire as to why and resturaunt claimed nobody in at address when delivery attempted! Apparently delivered to wrong address, despite having delivered here the previous week! They were not at all apologetic and when the meal was finally delivered over 1 hour late, 3 of the items had to be reheated; not good enough!

I think I've just wasted £22. :( I ordered the mixed starter and it was stone cold and extremely dried out, especially the lamb which was so tough that I couldn't chew it. The mixed Korma was also cold and lacked seasoning. The peshwari naan also wasn't great and tasted bland and not very sweet. I'm afraid that I won't be ordering again as most of it has gone in the bin.

Delivered firstly to the wrong address despite having delivered to my address a week earlier!

Again....Jamuna does it, tandoori mixed grill and tandoori chicken, absolutely delicious. I would never buy an Indian from anywhere else. Beautiful 👌👌

Best Indian in wigan throwed in loads of free onion Baji's collected food and it was ready soon as I got there and was still ready hot when I got it home 5 min Drive all fresh and tasted amazing! 10/10

Really quick delivery but the food wasn't great. Bhuna very greasy and the korma bland. Pakora had ridiculously thick batter just not the best really

The food would have been great had it not been all over the bag and freezing cold. Took an hour hour to arrive from a Mike or so away from the point of dispatch. Arrived over an hour late!

Yet again food cold don't think can be the India as ordered from a different on just go in the corner from where I live . Has to be poor collection times of deliveries being picked up,arrived within in timescale but was obviously ready befor feel sorry for the takeaway

Not our usual go-to but heard good things from friends so thought we’d try it (and begrudgingly pay the 3 quid delivery fee despite being round the corner). Two out of the three curries were extremely runny/watery and not very flavoursome. The sides weren’t great either unfortunately. May have just been an off day, but we’ll be sticking to Sylhet Spice from now on.

Food is good just not found my dish yet but will try again next week

Food was dreadful both meals was just warm and floating with oil, the lamb well I think it was lamb was so chewy I couldn’t even swallow it, the chips was dry and hard, the egg fried rice was mushy and the two garlic breads was not fresh was rock hard … won’t be ordering from here again 🙁

Rude driver, restaurant missed item, so when I approached the driver who spent an extra 5 mins on my drive on his phone, he told me to get in my car and get the missing items myself, no chance mate ! Word of mouth is the best advertisement, sorry the drivers attitude doesn’t get my recommendation

Starters where amazing but main meal was OK not the best but not the worst either.

First time using as my usual one was shut. Very good choice. Rang up on (29th Aug) spoke to a very polite person. Food was delivered in under an hour and it was piping hot. Extremely tasty. Will definitely be using them again

Brilliant food, so tasty and great value for money. Food was a little late, but it was a Saturday night and so I cannot complain, food was really hot. Wouldn’t hesitate to order from here again.

Delayed, but on time... Dhal was too sweet for me - sickly - couldn't finish it. It was raining and the delivery person was a little impatient about how slow the meal was taken off him !!!

Amazing place for indian takeaway. Always go when i am in wigan. Staff very friendly. Had a lovely chicken biryani and a jalfrezi with a amazing nan bread and sauces. Always stop here when local.

Did not receive the onion bahjis we paid for. Everything else ok but passanda awful. Bland - no taste.

Poppadoms stale and all broken - Hardly ANY chicken on the kebab. Over 2 hours delivery time, which is a joke considering they charge £3 delivery fee and live less than half a mile away.

Terrible portion size on a so called kebab, wouldn't resolve issue when I rang to say I'm not happy, basically a massive nan with no salad or anything and 4 pieces of chicken and sheesh, took ages as well. Absolute disgrace of an order I received for 9 quid as well
