Shawarma Reading in Reading

Entré después de un paseo en bicicleta de aproximadamente 2 horas y comí shawarma de pollo grande con papas fritas. El servicio y la comida parecían sólidos y lo más rápido posible Gracias Ahmad hermano: )

La comida estaba bien, pero fui a pagar y pregunté cuánto iba a costar. El servidor dijo £ 20 y que me pareció justo así que lo pagué sin mirar. Fui a pagar por el aparcamiento justo después y me di cuenta de que me cobraron £ 30 en su lugar.

Vinimos aquí después de la uni, y tuvimos el mejor Shawarma de nuestras vidas. El obrero es también el hombre más dulce de la tierra. Gran comida y servicio!

The shop is little bigger than a kiosk; but it's good to have a proper shawarma joint this side of the town centre. I had a lovely chat with the owner while he compiled my chicken wrap. A Syrian himself, he says he purveys the only true Lebanese shawarma in Reading. Could I tell the difference? I'm no expert; but usually the wraps are stodgy and boring, yet here they are cooked in with the contents, which makes a pleasant change. I enjoyed this style of shawarma a lot. When he handed me the bag, I said, "Card, please." And, to my amazement, he waved my card aside and said it was on the house. He insisted. What a guy! So I said I'd come back another day. Which I did, though the boss man wasn't there himself. And now I will always go back when in Reading. I like to see a small, independent business taking on the chains, so I wish this one well. It's got soul.
