I could eat this literally every day of my life. Incredible.

As much as I’m sure your food is lovely judging by your rave reviews it’s just a pity that your parking skills leave a lot to be desired. This is outside a special needs school.

I've wanted to eat a felafel here for years as I keep hearing it's the best in Glasgow, it's not. Unfortunately my felafel was very greasy, very strong taste of old oil and the bread wasn't cooked enough so was doughy. Maybe I got unlucky but I've had WAY better in Glasgow

The King is Dead! What’s happened to this place man. Had a mixed shawarma for lunch. The bread is not as nice and not toasted for long enough anymore, the salad is almost nonexistent and the meat was overcooked and crisp. I get the impression they’re not trying too hard now. Used to go out my way to come here but that’s the last twice it’s been a let down and the most recent visit the worst yet. No longer better (and probably worse) that all the rest.

Very easily the best shawarma in Scotland. Friendly staff who make everything from fresh. I had a wee misunderstanding with an order that was promptly corrected when they realised. The jajuh bbq chicken is amazing. And the mixed shawarma wrap is a must have. Mammy daddy 😋😋

Ordered a mixed schwarma wrap to take away. 1300 on a Sunday. Came within 5 minutes. Wrap was soft, fresh and chewy. Chicken and lamb meat was tender and delicious. Fantastic, can’t see how this place can be beaten. Would go back. 5/5. Keep up the good work.

A nice little Shawarma place with some good tasting Shawarmas. The meat was well seasoned, and the overall dish was very tasty. The price was spot on for what you get as well. Overall, this was a nice place to come in and grab a quick bite.

What massive shawarmas - delicious lamb and chicken shawarmas - planning on going back already.

A tasty falafel wrap - a bit dry for me, could have done with more hummus and pickle - but you can tell it's fresh. The wrap itself is chewy and thick. This place was Busy today with a queue out of the door

Food is good, but we didn’t get the naan bread and salad with our order. Nobody picks up the phone when you call.

Update: the place has improved quite a bit, the shop layout is now much bigger, staff are friendly and the shawarmas have been really good the last few times ! Good quality, loaded with filling and friendly staff though the older dude taking orders can seem grumpy and a bit grim. The wait can be 45 minutes by which time food will be served cold so avoid peak times.

Actually is the best kebab house in Scotland! Food is made to perfection, got a mixed shawarma wrap and everything was very fresh and tasted amazing. Service was also quick, food was EXCELLENT value for money. Absolute gem of a place and a must try for anyone who walks past. Will 110% be back 🙌

It's OK but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit. Wings needed something, sauce or rub.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the beef shawarma wrap at Shawarma King, and it was absolutely delicious! As someone who’s traveled from Canada to Scotland, I can confidently say it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. The flavors were perfect, and the wrap was packed with freshness. I enjoyed it so much that I went back a second time in just five days! On top of that, the customer service was outstanding. I didn’t catch the name of the person who helped me, but he was great—thank you so much for being so kind!

I called and asked if he catered for Coeliac and had Gluten Free options- I was guaranteed yes. I asked again when I arrived for collection to be told the same. 3 hours later I am violently sick. Absolutely Raging

This was everything I hoped it would be. Got a mixed shawarma wrap with no salad .. the lamb is soo soo delicious. Went on Sunday lunch time and thankfully there wasn't much of a queue.

I would say this lived up to the hype and expectations. The freshly made bread was delicious, the meat inside was ample and perfectly cooked. So juicy! The garlic sauce was great, but I made the mistake of not getting an extra tub. The chill sauce was mild, so you can easily get it in the wrap. I got a large mixed shawarma. I saw people say they couldn’t finish it. I could have had 2!!

I think it is hit and miss, not sure to be honest yet. Have to try few more times and few different things. Nice food long wait You can't even order in advance... I think when the boss there food is good, otherwise they are lazy .

I should start this review by stating that this has been rated THE BEST Kebab House in Scotland for three years running and it’s easy to see why. They do the little things so so well, a no frills menu that provides flavor and yumminess. Would so so recommend if you’re in town, truly the best Kebab in Glasgow.

been wanting to go a long time had similar negative lamb experience to some other reviews on here , fatty, greasy, lamb, was late at night so maybe back of the quality train, will try chicken next time to see if the King is back.

5 stars. Nothing more needs to be said. A trip to glasgow without a lamb shawarma from here is a trip wasted. Because of popular demand it can often be a long wait and you cannot phone and pre order for collection. Value for money good portion size and fairly priced. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently tried the mixed shawarma meal from shawarma king, and it was fantastic! The flavors were perfectly balanced, with tender, juicy meat and a delicious blend of spices.

Thought I'd give it a try as everyone raves about it. Honestly it was so bland. No flavour to it at all. Really disappointing don't recommend

Went quite late on Saturday night and all that was left was the BBQ chicken shawarma which wouldn’t have been my first choice but oh man it was amazing! Can’t wait to go back and try the lamb and chicken ones. The baklava was also amazing, especially at 75p

Mixed feelings about Shawrma King. The shawarma itself was fine, the bread was the best bit and the filling was okay. Perhaps the other good reviews just highlight other poor shawarmas in the area? Service was shoddy. My biggest irritation is that they say they open at 11am, but when I went at that they weren’t ready to serve, asking me to come back at 1130 and again at 1200. If you’re not ready to serve food at the opening time then change the opening time. So a very okay experience. I won’t be rushing back.

Hi All, I really loved the mixed shawarma wrap (£6), I enjoyed it without any regrets. The only fault that I found is that the shop is selling soft drink that shouldn't be sold separately. I think we should all follow the law, wherever we are present. A simple note for the owner: Please rectify this mistake, "ASAP". Kind regards

Price is reasonable and its a good quality of food for takeaway. There is a wee seating outside just nearly four five chairs for waiting or for anyone who wanna eat there.

Sadly a poor experience, ordered and they forgot about us for more than half an hour. Asked multiple times and told it would be soon, but let us wait longer. 35 minutes all in. Won't be back.

Disgusting, unhygienic food place because it’s been 2 day I’m sick and on bed because of eating their lamb shawarma kebab wrap. I heard good about them but find totally opposite I drove 35 min and 25min wait because they were not answering phone and end up with sore stomach & vomiting and sleepless night so please stay away from this place.

It's nice to wait in line with folks truly excited for their lunch. We tried Shawarma King after walking several miles around town and it hit the spot - though I could only manage the half size, not the large. It's greasier than I like my shawarma, but the baba ganoush was absolutely delicious and unique. Definitely worth the hype, even if not perfect for my tastes.

The Kofte wrap they make is absolutely phenomenal. You can tell they care about the product and the quality of every ingredient. Puts 99% of kebab shops to absolute shame considering the prices compete with them.

The longer this place is open the worse it gets...clearly becoming complacent through it's previous reputation. The food, while average, lacks a certain spark that sets apart. The shawarma could benefit from better quality. I had several pieces of massive fat chunks within the lamb shawarma. All in all, Shawarma King is a barely average choice for budget-friendly fare. It's a spot that clearly understands the importance of value for money, which is indeed a winning trait. However, by paying attention to the nuances of taste/consistentancy and quality, Shawarma King could elevate itself.

Food is excellent as the lamb Shwarma is the best I've tried. Only loses a point on it being a takeaway with virtually no seating (4 seats total) and a typical 20-30 minute wait for food at all times.

I haven't eaten a better kebab in Scotland than this one. The meat is obviously craft prepared by the owners. The meat tastes clean and tender, like real meat, not like a dog minced up with his kennel like in most Indian cousines here. Amazing.

If you like a bit spicy food, then Shawrma King is not for you. Spent plenty of time in waiting, and when got served, it was revealed that shawarmas were tasteless.

Been meaning to try this place for ages but every time I'm in Glasgow it's in the opposite direction of where I'm going. Today I decided to walk there anyway to try it and I'm so glad I did. The bread is what makes this wrap spectacular, it's so much better than any other kebab place. The salad balances perfectly with the meat too for an all around brilliant kebab. Now I've been I don't think it'll take me so long to be back!

Place was great for me chicken bland lamb fatty and bread too thick salad was nice.

You can order and then wait with a slip for your number being called. The food was good but we thought it lacked a bit of sauce.

Although they unfortunately run of the Kebabs towards the end of the day, their delicious shawarma makes up for it. A bit cheaper than the Kebab as well
