Shark Tail Sushi in Bournemouth

The sushi here made me and my entire Birthday party violently ill. All 7 of us missed the beach because we spent the next day with the worst food poisoning I've had since my trip around India. When we spoke to the manager of the restaurant he just laughed so no compensation.

Clean small and modern sushi restaurant. Not overly priced good value for money and delicious sushi. Would be nice to have more choice on the sashimi selection. Highly recommend 👌

We ordered through just eat. When the food was delivered we were missing 2 rolls. When I called the restaurant they were uninterested and just blamed just eat. I will never order from them again, so rude, unprofessional and non responsive

Nice enough place, polite staff but food only so so. The salmon sashimi was too salty, and the salad too basic for the money. Wouldn’t return.

Had the wrong order delivered to me, I’m vegan and had ordered vegan avocado maki and received something completely different with meat and cheese inside which I couldn’t eat. When I called to say what had happened the women on the phone was instantly rude and dismissive of the problem. Because I’d order through UberEats they refused to remake my order correctly. I was polite on the phone about it calmly explaining I thought maybe they could remake my order correctly and that refusing to do so was poor customer service but the women was constantly incredibly rude to me and hung up on me in the end with no help to fix my issue at all. I’m sure the food from this restaurant is nice but the customer services are incredible rude and awful.

Myself, my wife, our youngest daughter, and our granddaughter made our first visit. I was impressed by the minimalist interior. Keep it simple and let the food do the talking. We ordered Battered Shrimp, Tom Yum soup, and Miso Salmon soup for starters. All were extremely tasty, especially the Tom Yum. We then had the largest platter they do. When it arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. Some restaurants have small circumferences. These were considerably larger. Luckily I have a large appetite. We ploughed our way through, swigging Sprite to help, and then had Vanilla Mochi ice cream to finish with. We were very happy with the attentive service and will definitely visit again.

So delicious!! Had salmon and crab crispy sushi which was soo good and tom yum and miso salmon soup which were both just amazing. Really good sushi couldn’t recommend more.

Just going to cut to the chase. The sashimi was like beef jerky we left it so as not to get ill. The rrst of the order was poorly prepared and cooked , the price simply does not reflect what you are getting which ultimatelg is a sub standard sushi restaurant . Very very dissapointed

First visit and found food good and at a reasonable price. Will visit again. Can recommend if you like sushi and in the area.

After many months of lockdown, I was really looking forward to have a nice Japanese dinner, unfortunately I picked the wrong place. Despite the variety of rolls you can choose, when we tried them we had a pretty bad surprise...the rice instead of being light and fluffy was sticky and chewy, so the rolls were heavy and tasteless. I am sorry but if I go to a Japanese restaurant I expect to find at least a Japanese chef in the kitchen. The art of making sushi is not something that you can improvise. I find better sushi at the supermarket.

This is our absolute favourite restaurant in Bournemouth. Great quality sushi, such a good price, very quick and looks so good on the plate! Loved it as a takeaway just as much as in the restaurant. Cannot wait to return!

I would highly recommend this place. The staff is really friendly and the sushi is very tasty. The variety of choices is very wide. Even my little boy is loving this place and can eat lots of peaces of sushi. You can book this place for birthday party or some event. We did book last year and everyone left really happy. We are happy coming back costumer :))

We go to this place quite often. My favorit recent discovery was sushi with tempura, really delicious. As I’m a fan of minimalist interior, their scandinavian style feels causy and without overwhelming distractions, and also lets don’t forget the lovely team. Will definitely come back...

When we picked up our sushi for click and collect the boxes were not chilled. The sushi was actually mildly warm which obviously put us off and we didn’t even attempt to eat it. Very disappointed especially as the reviews are so good

It's nice place to eat sushi and drink tea and coffee. It's a great place to sit and relax, whether you want to eat or concentrate on studies. It has been refurbished recently they have a nice comfy sofa with makes this place more defined....

At the start I got a Miso soup with salmon, a tuna maki ,A tuna nigiri and tuna sashimi (I'm a big fan of tuna ) .my dad got the same but everything was salmon instead of tuna.
