we had an amazing time at wagamamas! we were served by the lovely alex who was friendly and accommodating to our needs, she was wonderful 😊 she made sure our drinks were always full and that the food was satisfactory (which it was!) and was very lovely and chatty. my boyfriend and i eat at wagamama’s often and have always been satisfied as the food is always excellent, as is the service - but we must give alex one last mention, she is fab 😊🫶🏽

Everything was perfect, service was so speedy and the food tasted amazing as usual. Alexandra served us, she was so friendly and helpful with our orders, making sure we had everything we wanted throughout our night, a very genuine person. Would absolutely recommend

A large Wagamamas close to the pier on Bournemouth sea front. The usual, reliable menu and service. We were late (9pm) on a Thursday night and the weren’t many other diners so the atmosphere was a bit flat. The waitress recommended that my dining companion changed his order as ‘we’ve had so many complaints about that dish we’re taking it off the menu’ which was a bit odd. He changed his order!

Overall a great experience! Food was great, staff was friendly and helpful, and tables were clean and tidy. I recommend the squid starter 👌

If you struggle sitting on a hard wooden bench I would recommend either bringing a cushion from home or one of those fold-away camping chairs. Getting a booth may also be a good shout unless you enjoy that genuine refectory style of eating which was prominent in the mid 1970's.

Great experience at Wagamama’s Bournemouth , always good service ( attentive but not overbearing ) great food as per usual , would recommend the Tama Squid and Bang Bang cauliflower along with Firecracker Prawn ( also tofu and chicken option I believe ) will being going back soon to try some of the other new dishes . I received my food via deliveroo, I ordered a chicken and shrimp pad tai, and it was horrible, the chicken looked like it was rotting, the noodles were overcooked, the presentation looked like dog vomit, I had to throw the food in the trash and lose my money

We where ordering the same order for four years that is fire cracker and this year we were surprised that it is not nice like now the chicken is not nice and it is strong and it doesn’t have taste so I hope u change it like before thank you

Andrezza, did serve us yesterday I have to say wow wow wow, really top service best customer service I’ve seen in years, she definitely went an extra mile to help us, or kids loved her and said from now on it’s their favourite restaurant because of Andrezza. Had dinner here tonight with my 2 friends, my son and my friends son. Food and service great. I would like to say a massive thank you to the staff who were so accommodating and lovely to us whilst my 2 year old son had a few tantrums. He has just finished isolating at home for a week after being very poorly and was very tired so cried and kicked off (a lot I know). I was visibly stressed and the young man with short dark hair attempted to play with my son and cheer him up, you have no idea the effect this had on me. As a server myself I know it can be stressful to have a toddler crying in the restaurant and I appreciate the kindness you showed to us tonight more than you know. This includes our server for our table, she was lovely and kind with myself and my son too. I however would not like to thank the young lady who brought our drinks over though as she pulled faces at myself and my son whilst he cried and this made me feel awful and embarrassed and like a burden. I almost left, I would have if the young man had not made us feel 100x better by trying to cheer him up. You should be really proud to have a staff member like him, and I hope he is as valued as he should be. He made us feel welcome and at home whilst we tried to enjoy an evening out with 2 toddlers. For reference, we arrived about 5:15pm and were sat on table 131. Again thank you so much xx

Good food, friendly staff and spotlessly clean restaurant. Lovely ice-cold Asahi beer on tap. Drinks reasonably priced. Recommended

Nice experience, however there was no way to book in advance and had to wait to be seated since went with a large group - add a booking system !

We went to Wagamama for dinner with our friends during the week and one of us had allergies - we cannot thank Reece enough for all the attention he gave us, from going through the allergen menu with us, to making sure we had everything we wanted, he is a credit to the Wagamama team!

Food came out super quickly and super hot, the new menu items are really flavoursome and worth trying! Luvena was our waitress and went out of her way to make sure we had a great dinner. Even when I queried how spicy one of the meals is, she suggested an adaption for it and it was delicious!

Just the noodle not so authentic, but overall experience is good. Bathroom is well maintained. Way better than most restaurants in this country. Staff is polite.

The vibe of the restaurant is great don’t get me wrong, wonderful service, food came quick and friendly staff. However, 3 out of 4 dishes had clumpy noodles which looked slightly undercooked but overall a satisfactory experience.

Really lovely staff - they explained the menu and made us feel welcome. Food was delivered really quickly to the table. Easy to pay the bill by scanning the QR code on the table. Would recommend!

It was rather late when we went in search of a Wagamama in Bournemouth. We had arrived in Alum Chine not familiar with places to eat in the area. It was closing time for most retailers and since it was raining we were able to locate parking and walk about a minute to Wagamama. It was very busy. Our drinks were late arriving due to a fault with the machine so they offered sodas which we declined in favour of water. Our food was mixed as it had this hot/cold vibe to it as if one part of meal was sitting one side then they decided to toss it in hot noodles when the order came in. The staff attentiveness made up for this so pushed the score up to five. After my many rounds with the Wagamama branches I have now learnt never ever go during rush hour.

As we were leaving the Wagas team noticed me being nosy.....they were tryi g out some new dishes.....The new dishes were Excellent but the best part was seeing the team enthuse about the new dishes.....thanks for allowing us to try too !! We managed to get a booth in the corner and it was instantly a better experience than usual. Non-alcoholic cocktails are delicious 😋. I don't like that the food comes out at different times. Mine got a bit cold before my friend's food came out. Portions are great of you're very hungry. Overall, a good chain, but nothing special.

Been there a few times and found that the food is a bit inconsistent.

The restaurant is quintessentially Wagamama, I hadn't been for years and the restaurant has been extended since then. There is now more space and the old long benches have been broken up with the newer shorter benches to give you some privacy if you are eating with a smaller group. There are some smaller tables to the side but they were all booked when we went midweek lunch time. Service was quick but annoyingly several people (5-6, lost count) did different parts and no one seemed to know what the others were doing so our meal was a little interrupted with unnecessary confusion. None of the food arrived at the same time and although the food overall was full of flavour, I thought my noodles were greasy and the salmon was definitely overcooked. Menu is simple but varied and available for download online. Pre-book and -order possible (and esp booking recommended), takeout is also available. For anyone noise-sensitive/hard of hearing, the space was at 75% capacity and it was difficult to hold a conversation as the single, large room doesn't appear to be noise buffered at all. Accessible as all on the ground floor, a single bathroom with solo cubicles for all sexes.

Great atmostphere, welcoming staff, delicous food , my ramen was delichious. Service was friendly, I'll definitely return!

Had a lovely meal very tasty meal with chicken and noodles in a bowl with a miso soup. The staff were very attentive and very professional in assessing allergies. Had a nice evening. Only thing that was paying by mobile having to work out the complex algorithms to split the bills , ok if you're young 😂

First time at this chain. Good food and friendly staff. Found it a little odd having main dishes served before the starters we had ordered, but I'm sure everyone else is fine with that.

The food itself was good. However, by the time the food arrived for some of the people on the table, most of the people in the group were already done eating.

Food was so tasty and a great variety of flavours and dishes. Don’t go for the Katsu curry despite popular opinion it is over rated and there are so many better dishes to try. Amazing service with lovely and attentive staff. Highly recommend.

Lunch out to celebrate the misses Birthday and was served by Dan. Really friendly gent with amazing customer service attitude. Really impressed by how he engaged with other customers as well. Great job Dan and Wagas team we had a great experience. The smoothies are 10/10.

Meh... food not great, food arrived haphazardly, cold draughty area right in front of doorway, had Japanese night before in local restaurant which was miles better and was cheaper and much better atmosphere.

Very quick and fresh service. Dan has a very nice beard and is such a lovely energy, loved him honestly.

Yesterday my husband made a takeaway for both of us, I took the beef soup with vegetables and also some beef with noodles which arrived very soft like mush. Very disappointing .!!!!!

Amazing food as always! But Dan was the highlight of the evening. As always he is very attentive and helpful and added charm and personality to the experience.

The ambience was amazing, we were met by staff as soon as we walked in and directed to a free table. Our server was incredibly nice and considerate, and the food was very flavourful and most of all delicious. It was a great experience to try a new cuisine and overall would come back here.

It was all over a mediocre experience. The ramen didn’t had the thick noodles that you expected, the broth it wasn’t fantastic and all over seemed like an overpriced 1£ instant ramen. Wouldn’t recommend for someone that it expecting a Japanese experience. The atmosphere and staff were nice.

Soooo yummy noodles and dumplings. Staff are also do a good job 👏 They fulfilled all of my requirements when I asked for vegetarian option and without alcohol! It is worth for what you pay👍 Besides you can see how chefs are doing too.

Solo diner & felt forgotten about by staff. It took a while for someone to come take my order. Staff were polite though.

Always a great experience at Wagamama and the Bournemouth branch is no exception. Very spacious restaurant. Some ‘communal’ style tables but also more private booths so a good selection no matter what you prefer. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and gave personal advice on the menu. Portion sizes are very generous. Gender neutral toilets available. Coffee isn’t very good at this restaurant. Apart from that, an excellent time!

Great service and very tasty food but why have you guys become so mean with portion sizes? Going to wagas used to guarantee a proper good value feast but now prices are high and I've left my meal still hungry. I'm not even a big eater!

The food was the best it’s ever been at Wagamama’s in Bournemouth- like a serious step up recently! To top off our full bellies, our waiter was so lovely, as were all the staff we encountered. A really nice meal this December- would highly recommend! (The new hot pot is a MUST, we were literally drooling at how good it was. Also the chilli squid was on top form as always) My partner loved the new spicy margarita and the gin (with rose I think?!) is always delicious. Thank you! 🦑

Excellent, laid back but attentive service. Fabulous food with great tastes and a light, fresh, vibrant feel, particularly from the pickled vegetables. Restaurant was quiet but still a relaxed and lively atmosphere. Can’t fault Wagamama for their great food, service and value for money.

Now the area to eat has been widened, this is a much better place to enjoy the food. Ordering is as ever super easy and you now scan a code to pay, so no waiting around once you're ready to go.

They cope really well will gluten free food requirements.

We have been coming here for years with very few complaints. When there have been complaints they have been addressed beautifully. We visited on the last two Thursdays and I have to thank the chefs for cooking to their usual high standard but also to the servers. We especially want to mention Daniel and Amelia who always go the extra mile. With a smile and such a positive attitude to diners. They both make visiting Wagamama Bournemouth an even better experience. Thank you to both of you.

Over the past 6 months me and my son have regularly been visiting Wagamama’s it’s fastly becoming our favourite place to dine! Always great service from Reece, very accommodating and welcoming :)

I dined in yesterday with my sister and cousin and it was a lovely experience, Amelia was an amazing server and received a lot of good help from Andrezza. Experience 10/10 would dine again.

My family and I have been coming here for years - we usually have no complaints but I have to say this time, the staff weren’t great on the whole. We got walked past a few times after attempting to get somebody’s attention. We have to send our squid starter back as it was over cooked. But, in all the years we’ve been customers - this is the first negative we’ve had! It is a wonderful place with great food bar a couple of mistakes, despite this, I will always still recommend wagamamas.

I recently dined at Wagamama, and it was a stellar experience. The firecracker chicken, yakisoba, tama squid, and chilli squid dishes were nothing short of amazing. DAN was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, effortlessly guiding me through the extensive offerings and offering helpful recommendations based on my preferences. Always great at Wagamama’s. Never a bad meal and plenty of choice. We love the eclectic style of delivery (when it’s ready, it gets delivered). Can’t fault it.
