Shocking food would never use again. Stale Chewy Naan breads. Onion Bhaji swimming in green oil 😳. Keema Naan did not have any filling and cold. Butterfly king prawn without the prawn! Never would order from this restaurant again. Very very poor.

Another awesome takeaway meal from Shappi. The chefs listen to what you order if mild/Med/Hot. Enjoyed previous ownership and now this new owner puts a really nice twist on something that was already good. Thoroughly recommend the food.

Shappi in Vicarage Road used to be head and shoulders above the vast majority of other take-aways in the area. It was never the cheapest but was always one of the best. Quality was always top notch and each dish actually looked as though it had be properly prepared - as opposed to the vast majority of other 'two pot' take-aways where there is either a brown sauce or a red sauce (sometimes a yellowish' sauce) for any dish. Same consistency, same taste, only the colour is changed and a few extra ingredients chucked in - that's how you tell which dish is which. This was never the case with Shappi, previously. But now it is. We gave them two goes after the 'new management'. First go was a bit of an 'oh dear' moment and the second was definitely a 'oh bugger, got to find another take away' moment. Was exceptional, now a distinctly average curry house. New management, cost savings, lower quality. Bit sad.

The Shahin is the best Indian restaurant around. Food is always consistent, customer service is excellent and the decor is modern, clean and comfortable. Our favourite dishes are the madras and Bhuna cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend this place and urge everyone to try this!

Best Ondian meal I've had in a long while. Tender meat and although spicy was full of flavour. I would certainly recommend and would definitely return.
