DO NOT EAT Touch THE FOOD.... WARNING THEY USE an AWFULL CHEMICAL TO MAKE IT LOOK GOOD that is produced in labs .. THEY USE MSG ON EVERYTHING ! Monosodium glutamate (MSG) is a flavor enhancer often added to restaurant foods, canned vegetables, soups, if you are allergic to many things, well, this will be number one on your list on your children's list ! MSG WILL COVER UP FOODS THAT HAS BEEN SITTNG FOR DAY .... PLEASE WARN others about this ....and say no to restaurant s that use it ..tell them why..

Very friendly young lady, food was very good, although too much for 1 person.

Always use this takeaway when we have one lovely food always piping hot nice staff.

Food is tasty from here and prices aren't too bad. Although the service let me down because they had no card machine and that seemed to happen my last couple of visits which is a bit of an inconvenience.

1st I will say I don't eat curry . The house chowmain is restaurant quality every time, and chicken balls to die for 😋

The food was not very fresh, and gave me indigestion.

This is without any doubt the best Chinese takeaway I've ever come across (and Lord knows I've been to a few!) The quality of the food is quite exquisite and the consistency remarkable. Never had a bad meal from there and loved by all family, friends etc we introduce to the place.

Unfortunately, very poor customer service. Won’t be buying from them again! It’s takes nothing to show your customers that you appreciate their custom.. Ordered several times but the last time broke the camels back. FYI you could make a whole lot more money if your customer service was better.

If i could give zero stars I would. Racist service received simply for being black. Went to collect an order my wife placed over the phone and as soon as I entered the shop there was an atmosphere. I explained which order I was collecting and that I was paying by card to which I was asked if I was using a UK card, like this even matters as long as money is on it. I queried why I was being asked, although I made the assumption as to why and received no response. When going to actually pay with my card, the contactless section was covered by the servers hand therefore forcing me to enter my card and touch the pin pad others have used in these COVID 19 times. Once home my wife called and was told because they assumed I was African and didn’t want to be ripped off which was why they behaved like this and this was a justification which they actually thought was reasonable. Confirming their behaviour was simply because I am black. Avoid

Used to be regulars but after today will not order again. Ever. Racist behaviour received simply for being black which was admitted when I called about the service my husband received. Thinking he was going to rip them off simply for looking ‘African’ their words. Avoid at all costs

Second time ordering food and the last. Food was extremely salty to the point had to throw away £28 worth of food. Called shop no apology no partial refund. No nothing. If you have high blood pressure do not eat here. If you do ensure you have lots of water close by. Not impressed at all. Will not be going back.

I went into this place to pick up my order Oh my God I could not believe what I seen shoes in the kitchen slippers it was disgusting I could not believe it i.....!!! ITS NOT 5 STAR AT ALL The food was disgusting..PLEASE TRY TO AVOID FOR DISAPPOINTMENT

Eat from here most Sundays & it’s amazing Food is so fresh & the meat ( if you eat meat like Hubbi) Is great quality with no fat Highly recommend

I had a meal.from.there today and was pleasantly surprised, it was nice, delivery driver was a bit impatient knocking my door, but the food was lovely, never liked the orange sauce though, tasted like watered down orange juice, but other than that the food was beautiful and I'm.honest on these reviews

Always lovely tasty food delivery is very fast

Got my order wrong and then the lady decides to laugh and say that chicken curry is the same as red Thai curry...that i wouldn't know the difference... Bad service and ruined my evening.

Decent enough food fairly prices

They first charged my mastercard (one the requires a signature) and a receipt came out, which I signed. Then they printed another receipt that said canceled and told me that my card did not go through. So instead of food I got a headache having to call my bank to block them from charging me. What a joke. Avoid this place honestly.

The food was to die for, which I almost did last night when the vomiting & diarrhoea started. Thank you for the worst case of food poisoning ive Ever had! Learn to chill & cook your rice safely!

Food was disgusting, should of just had a pot noddles instead of noddles and the staff was so rude! SAVE YOU MONEY AND DO NOT ORDER!

Food was beyond bad, waited over an hour after ordering from just eat and then phoned up, from.the conversation they clearly hadn't even started preparing the order, arrived 2h after order and again food wasn't good.

Our food was awful. We waited an hour for it to begin the crab claws were processed the closest it had got to being a crab was the name! The two main courses were king prawn chow mein which was inedible boiled prawns and vermicelli noodles didnt taste of anything at all and the Peking roast pork was really dry. Only good thing was the free spring rolls and the satay skewers were nice to. prawn crackers went straight in the bin!

Just been to collect a meal - whilst waiting we could see a lady putting pancakes rolls into a fryer - dropped one in the floor, the floor didn't look that clean either - picked it up and put it in the fryer if this is their idea of hygiene I won't be returning

Dissapointed ... just tried to order my regular meal ..... told no we don't do that !!!@ NEW OWNERS ??????? Omg just called back to place order how rude they were ..... meal arrived omg yuck

Another great takeaway from the Shanghai House. Delivery people are always polite and the food is consistently good.
