The service here is terrible the young kid taking phone orders very rude, uber eats took over an hour and when i called the kid on the phone used abusive language. Horrible service

Absolutely appalling , I've ordered from a different shakehouse before and the food was amazing and everything was fine however this franchise has to be the worst one yet … the food (i ordered a millionaire waffle ) was not good the waffle was messily put together and they forgot the ferro chocolates they didn't even say oh we don't have any chocolates left they just chucked on a few strawberries and called it a day NOW i asked for a lychee mocktail because that is what the man who served me said they had tell me why i got a rubicon lychee juice in a shake house cup with ice - what is this ?! truly shocking service there was only 2 young men behind the counter the one that served me was in and out the shop and guy making my order gave it to me in what felt like 10 mins no wonder how scruffy my order was . -10/10 definitely recommend to take your money somewhere else !!

Ordered a concrete cake for my child was hard as a rock and was uneatable would not recommend at all. Rang up and they didn’t seem to care and they also laughed at the end of the call unprofessional

the milkshakes didn't have the chosen flavers in it and couldn't even taste the malteasers that were chosen. was really disappointed. the milkshakes tasted milky.

Ordered a milkshake today I could see they were busy we waited over 20 minutes for the milkshake when we took the milkshake home it was watery I called to complain but as usual the manager not here we can't do anything this is disappointing as a business they should except complaints and stop making silly excuses that the manager is not here .

DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR. They cancel your order without informing you. Leaving you without a means of ordering again due to refund times.

In his wisdom over charged me by a £1 because "strawberries are expensive" and proceeded to put 2 into a 500ml milkshake. Avoid!

I order from here quite frequently and the consistency is always the same. One thing to mention though is that the milkshakes aren’t blended much meaning they can sometimes be on the thickness side a bit too much.

Disgusting service. Ordered at 20:14… it’s now 22:50 and I’ve still not received it. Had to call the store 3 times.. mow expecting a full refund as most the desserts will end up in the bin.

Then cookie dough was cold and the waffle was cold too ice creams were melting not happy with the service at all.

Low average quality and terrible customer service. I ordered cookie dough and they forgot to include the ice cream so I called them and they promised they would bring some for me waited an hour and tried to call back and they had taken the phone off the hook and won’t be ordering from here again.

Still quite upset that I didn't get a REFUND on the items that I bought. The delivery was on time but my food was very damaged

I’ve eaten and purchased food from the Shakehouse franchise in the past, however the Stoney Lane branch is probably the worse or one of the worst dessert places in Birmingham. First experience was when a delivery took over 2 hours to arrive, l called multiple times and the person who answered the phone was flippant about the situation. Second situation was when my daughter ordered some food a payment was deducted from her account but nothing was delivered. She called to request a refund and was told it would be processed within 24 hours, she was informed that there was an issue with the website. We called a few days later and asked to speak to the manager as she had not received a refund and were told to call back. Overall an extremely poor experience so keep away from this particular branch. It’s a shame because the Hall Green branch is outstanding and l think the poor management of the Stoney Lane branch could have an overall impact on the franchise’s reputation.

The store advertised buy 1 get 1 free but didn’t give me my free cookie dough. Waste of money and time. Should have ordered from Uber Eats!

quite disappointed tbh. ice creams received were all melted i thought they gave milk! ordered a PEACH cooler and was given plain lemonade. desserts were stone cold when arrived (not long after stated delivery) just an unfortunate order all round. tried to ring but they didn't answer.

Ordered the dip it box for £15 and all that I had received is 4 small brownie bites the size of a small sugar cube ,2 cut up strawberries , a quarter of a waffle and 2 sauces , there was no pancakes at all yet it was in the description , in my opinion not worth £15 and could have got better at treatz for the price

I asked for no nuts but recieved nuts on the waffle sticks.

Order was late by at least 30 mins. contacted them and the person who answered wasn't very polite. last but not least, the delivery driver didn't find my address which ended up in another 15 mins extra delay.....

The milkshake was hard not blended with massive lumps of frozen ice cream in there n had to be stirred and spooned to be eaten. The waffle was cold and thin hardly any substance to it - paper thin - I am shocked - not like we used to get.

i always drive past this place so i thought id give it a chance. very much below average. would be okay if you was so so hungry you didn’t care, but when you’re really in the mood to indulge this just doesn’t hit the spot. the cookie dough is extremely small after paying £7 for it 😭 milkshake is mid. ordered online and ended up throwing the half drank milkshake away, and my cookie dough right in the bin. I’ll give it 2 starts because maybe it’s just an off day for them and they accidentally left the cookie dough sitting too long, or maybe expired ingredients. but omg it was actually stale 😭

They had a buy one get one free meal but when I ordered it they didn't give it and blamed just eat for it especially when the worker clearly stated the buy one get one free is online only. Kids food fell short because we were one cookie dough short.. For £30 I would of expected them to sort something out but won't be ordering again.

It was over 2 and a half hours late. Staff was very unhelpful and am very disappointed. When jt came it was burnt and I am very unhappy.

The staff are rude the service is atrocious and the food is even worse. Ordered cookie dough and it was burnt, they drizzled extra chocolate sauce over the burnt bits, couldnt even eat any of it, what a joke of an establishment. The order was over an hour late

I would give zero stars but I can’t. My cookie dough was an hour late, burnt and so hard that when I tried taking a bite the spoon wouldn’t even go through it. When I rang to see where my food was the staff replied with “Well what am I supposed to do about it”. Never ordering from this place again. Horrible place, horrible experience and a waste of my money.

I ordered a large cookie dough for £7.50 and it was smaller than the size of my hand Before it was a decent size but now it's not worth the price anymore

Food was exceptionally late, didn’t even give a cancel order option & to top it off dessert was cold stale and basically inedible. Will not be purchasing again.

Disgustingly dry waffles probably because they’re too cheap to add enough chocolate sauce, icecream doughnut is also tastless, all you could taste is icecream, not the doughnut at all and to finish it off the redbull mojito had icecubes stuck together the size of the whole cup, luckily i ordered online otherwise i would have thrown that rubbish back at them and also delivery went from 20 mins to 1hr with no updates, dead shop

Will never be ordering from here we ordered 2 waffles and 1 cookie dough, the waffles were both cold and the milk chocolate cookie dough was disgusting it was actually uncooked, I am so appalled as the desserts were for my children and they hated it, the worst desserts we’ve ever had. It came damage which was probably delivery drivers fault but whn I eat half of the food I seen few hair in there I call shake house to let them knw but the man who was on the phone with me didn't even took notice neither he was sorry about it .he said o its ok its alright very rude and unprofessional service never gonna order from ur place ever again

I ordered and got melted ice cream and water downed milkshakes without straws, I called the store and their excuse was there’s traffic and the driver took 3 orders together sorry how is that my problem? I don’t live far from it and the man over the phone said I can come down to the store and he will give me free ice cream? No apology at all and then when I told him there’s no straws he said he can deliver them in 30 minutes my kids where not happy drinking Ice cream. I am not happy at all by the

I am genuinely shocked, i found a piece of ceramic/glass in my bubblegum Sundae. It's such a shame because I've been a customer for a while. I always specifically ask for "NO NUTS" as i have a severe allergy, but they always ignore my note and load up the waffle sticks with nuts, which is a shame as i can't touch anything in the box. Really insensitive to allergies. But what came out of the sundae has well and truly shocked me, i will attach a picture. ALH it wasn't one of the kids that had it that day.

Specifically added in notes not to give any Oreo or Nut waffle sticks as i have a severe allergy, yet thats exactly what they've given me. They said there's an offer for a free item if you spend £22 or more, didn't get anything. This is like the 3rd or 4th time they've done this, i literally ordered from them after ages, thought you may actually check the notes, but that clearly didn't happen.

I ordered a fair amount of milkshakes and the taste for one was not what I expected! ALL milkshakes were more or less watery and not the usual thick when you come in to shake house. On Top of that my godfather cup had a crack on the side and the milk (shake) leaked so I could not drink it. Disappointed as the order was late. I ordered at about 11:05 and order arrived an hour later.

I placed an order on Uber eats on the offer they had on buy one get one free but when I now checked the charged me the full price on both items which is ridiculous. I've been waiting for my delivery as it's gone way over the estimated delivery time, called up the store to be told the guy couldn't hear me with such loud backround noise coming from his store, I told him maybe he should step aside to hear me clearer. He then went on to ask my name and after giving it he said the delivery driver had left with my order. 15 mins later I called up the store and he said the delivery driver had left 5 mins ago. Being told 2 different things buy the workers which is obviously lies. I then called up saying I'd like to cancel my order and the driver shouldn't bother for the guy to tell me that he'll find out and call me back. I've called back the store and now they're not deliberately answering. Disgusting and poor service for a supposed well known franchise. I'm absolutely annoyed at the customer service and will never order from here again. AVOID

we ordered 4 sundaes. 3x chocoholic and oreo sundae. was not happy with my order at all. it says it should be chocolate & vanilla ice cream topped with brownies , flakes bits &smothered with Nutella sauce. there was not even a single piece of brownies or anything. just ice cream . really disappointed...
