Your normal everyday fish bar. Not great. Not bad

This place has gone downhill lately, I don’t know if there’s been a change in staff but the food is rushed, we now have TWO children who have gone down with food poisoning, they were both perfectly fine before they had their food and have been up all night throwing up!

Great food, good prices. Place could do with a renovation to be honest.

Ordered online, waited for 20min and they rejected the order with no explanation. Avoid it as they will just waste your time

Honestly this is the first fish and chips place I've been to since moving up here and will forever love this place!! Don't have to wait too long for the food to be cooked and prices are reasonable. I'll forever be a loyal customer to this place.

Sausage and chips was £1.99 3 weeks ago. Went to go in an noticed the price had changed in the window to a very small £3. That nearly a 51% increase. The last couple of times I've been in they had deliberately tried to overcharge me and the food has been very poor. Never again.

So cheap i told the driver take extra money. Burgers for £2-3?!! Shows how other shops are milking us Cod fish was fresh and a good size. Less batter and weight of actual fish was spot on. Chips fresh and good for potato of this season. My new go to

Pizza, chips, burgers, and fish are so tasty. I love them

This is the 3rd time ive ordered a deep Pan with jalepenos and ive received thin pizza with no jalepenos and wrong toppings

Mostly good experience and good cooks, There's new staff, great menu for all, very clean, sit-in or takeaway, and reasonable offers for anyone.

Ordered food over 2 hours ago still waiting phone constantly engaged so can't get through it's a shame I had to give them 1 star to leave a review because they don't even deserve 1 star

A decent fish and chips shop. The service was fast and good. Prices are nominal. One of the economic fast food restaurants in high street. Decent seats. Would recommend for a quick snack.

Chips not cut properly and very hard. Steak burger was tough and chewy. Tasted like cardboard! Charge 50p extra for cheese or salad in burger. Unbelievable! Poor quality food at high price. Stay away. Not recommended at all.

I ordered this pizza from Best of British and I can say that’s it’s one of the best Pizza in town! The new management team has improved the taste and service 👏 I would definitely recommend them

Took over 2 hours to come, bad customer service, food was cold and hard and stale, will never use this place again AVOID!!!!!!!!

Naan was hard and stale, kebab meat was cold, onion rings under cooked, soggy and tasteless and chips weren't even chips. Hard cold sharp little bits...no actual chips. 1 star for the cold pepsi. A real let down. I won't be going back.

Worst of British chips! They have been sitting there for a long time. Ghostly White and hard. Not sure why such places even exist. They take the full price and serve rubbish!

Haven't been there for a while and after today I'm inclined not to go again. The portions have gone VERY stingy and the tiny fish (a goldfish perhaps) was dry. I don't know if there's been a change of management since my last visit but if there has been it's been a change for the worse.

Very poor quality food, absolutely avoid! Fries were like cardboard, chicken Donner was like cat food, I think the masala fish was Panga, not even cheap and cheerful, more like expensive and tasteless. Left my family with some serious stomach issues, most of it had to be binned, I don't even think employees have hygiene certificate. Very disappointed. If you can't provide half decent food, close the shop.

This is the best shop in the whole of Erdington (if you have no sense of taste). They say having no taste is a symptom of coronavirus, well in that case the workers here are in tier 5 lockdown, because of the profoundly cardboard taste that came off of the chicken and fries. Me and my Mexican amigos found there to be no flavour at all in this shop. We lost out by paying for the meal itself. I think they got some McDonalds blokes to spit in the food. The bottom of my cat's litter tray is more flavoursome than the stuff in this shop. The guy at the counter, at least, seemed to be enjoying the food judging by his balloon-like stomach. The staff are ignorant and rude and talking to each other all the time and don’t care about the customers waiting and for the food it’s absolutely disgusting as if it was re heated from the day before!!! Avoid at all cost as your food will be going in the bin!!!

Never order from here. It appears I can't award zero stars, so 1 will have to do. I have used this takeaway many times because of its proximity to me. Each time I think "this time they'll get it right". Not a chance. Food is late and cold. That's if it turns up at all or they don't cancel the order after waiting a few hours.This evening, after waiting over 2 hours, they admitted they handed my order to some bloke in the street. Didn't ring my doorbell, didn't phone at all. Handed it out. During a number of phone calls, where they claimed it wasn't their fault that they gifted some bloke on the street with my order, they hung up on me. They don't care about their customers. This isn't a one time objection to their intransigent service, it is from experience over number of orders (2 years at least) where they couldn't care less about you or the food you order. Never order from here. Might be an idea to check their current food hygiene rating, too.

I ordered large cod and chips on just eat. When my order arrived, the chips where cold and slightly brown. Instead of large cod they sent me two small pieces of fish that didn't seem like cod. Heavily battered too. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Its the principal. Binned the food as was unsatisfactory for human consumption.

One of the worst fast food outlets in Birmingham. Food almost inedible. Burnt chips for crying out loud. How can you get chips wrong! Always quiet from lack of customers inside and not hard to see why.

One of the best places on Erdington High Street to get Fish n Chips or a Pizza. Friendly Staff always happy. Good seating area. Clean & tidy.
