Food is decent for the price plus they don’t charge for sauce which is good.

Walked in thinking it was a chippy, but turned out they do all sorts. I bought some pakoras, samosas, fish and chips, and some chicken kebabs with a chappati, all for the bargain price of £10. Food was decent by and large, although apparently I bought the cheap fish. Friendly enough staff, and looked like a clean premises. They definitely did not give enough sauces though, even having asked them to. Nonetheless, decent and would go again.

Absolutely disgusting food there was no cleaniness in the cooking whatsoever had one bite and had to throw in the bin, paid £9 for a chicken burger meal that was cheeky considering how the food tasted… don’t go here unless you want food poisoning. 🤮🤮🤮 chicken burger was raw aswell. Great fried chicken and chips. No microwaved chicken here. Crispy skin, big juicy pieces. Donner kebab meat is expensive for what you get, especially when it's been in that warming pot for hours. I wouldnt recommend the donner meat....

We ordered two cod masala fish but they gave us the cheap fish instead of cod. We couldn’t contact them as they don’t have a contact number . Never again

A Disappointing Decline in Standards at MyFavorite Chip Shop Once a cherished establishment in our community, it is with regret that I must report a considerable and lamentable decline in the standards of MyFavorite Chip Shop. Where this eatery once stood as a beacon of culinary delight, it has now unfortunately descended into a state of disrepair and unprofessionalism that can no longer be overlooked. Firstly, the cleanliness of the premises has become a significant concern. The level of hygiene, which is of paramount importance in any food service establishment, appears to be egregiously neglected. This disregard for basic sanitation not only detracts from the dining experience but also raises serious health concerns that could potentially warrant intervention by public health authorities. Additionally, the attitude and demeanor of the staff have taken a turn for the worse. Interactions that were once marked by warmth and courteousness are now overshadowed by rudeness and indifference. This shift in customer service profoundly impacts the overall atmosphere of the establishment and reflects poorly on its management. It is with a heavy heart that I reflect on the golden days of MyFavorite Chip Shop when it was synonymous with quality and excellence. However, in its current state, I find myself unable to recommend it to others. It pains me to suggest that unless there is a substantial improvement in both hygiene standards and staff behavior, this establishment might be better off closed until such improvements are made. In conclusion, it is with a sense of profound disappointment that I award MyFavorite Chip Shop a one-star rating. I can only hope that this feedback serves as a wake-up call for the management to restore the establishment to its former glory.

I went here after school I went here to eat food but there was staff being rude and staring at me while I ate never coming again

I went here to eat and it smelt like mould the floor was slippery and their was some kids here asoon as I saw them they quickly ran away the guy at the front CANT speak English but can give attitude then a guffi guy took a picture of me never going here again.

Standards have dropped, price is day light robbery and portions are appalling! Rather go to Highfield chip shop, worth it for the price and portions. P.s the mayo and chilli still smell out of date. Also asked for the chicken n chips to not be put in a box and il pay 2 pound extra if I had to but the silly man showed dirty face and ignored me and carried in putin it in a box!!

Standards have dropped big time, the place smells of rat infestation as soon as you walk in. Fresh imports from back home serve you that make the prices up. Can't speak proper English but know how to put numbers in the till lol. Lol their card machine is never working and you have to spend £15 minimum. Don't know what the law is About card machines but didn't realise there was a minimum in UK. Avoid this place until they fix up. When people don't go they will get there act together and clean up the rat infestation.

Over price for the quality of food would not Recommend and will never going again

This food was really nice people behind the counter were so kind and the shop opens at 11:30am and closing time is 1am it say the wrong time when u search it up on Google. so if u are hungry and want something nice this is the place for you.👍

Not what is used to be. Food was luke warm, chips lacked any crisp/structure, more like mush. Donner was cut way too thick.

I made the mistake to eat in the shop. OMG the worst possible stench, it was like I was eating my food in an open sewer. Nearly threw up! Food wasn't even a proper portion, and prices are high. Don't waste your money AVOID!

Chicken piece had blood inside it. Always check the prices with them, sometimes they over charge you. Them freshies behide the counter try to show off by tapping in the prices in the till so fast..They charge £0.30p for chillie or mayo each, even though you pay high prices here. The other day they gave free potato scallop with each box of Chicken and chips I ordered, trust me it was so hard and nasty.....no wonder they gave it free. This shop is over priced and a total rip off........

Got my order wrong, horrible prices and believe it or not mate (to the staff behind the counter) salad doesn’t bite so add a bit more when you’re charging an arm or a leg, I’m not a bug that lives off a single leaf. And to the baldy with the specs, check your attitude. A better man than me would take your jaw clean off 😂

Awful donner meat, asked for a small portion with chips, they made a large and charged me for it, then refused to give me my order and demanded more money, that was first and last time, AVOID THESE

Just wasted £35 on the worst food I’ve ever eaten!! Straight in the bin. I asked the person serving who was a short man wearing glasses if the chicken was fresh and he replied with an attitude OBVIOUSLY. The food was clearly not fresh as the chicken fillet was a mouldy brown colour. The chicken pieces had blood inside and were still raw. The sheekh kebabs were raw and smelt horrible. The naan bread was cold. Overall it was all disgusting and caused my family food poisoning and I have reported it to health and environment so they will be getting a visit very soon which will swipe the smirk on the cheeky annoying staff. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!

Terrible! The dead flies on the window sill indicated to me that they don't do a good job cleaning and the flies found the food to be toxic. Everything tasted either microwaved or straight from a can. The service was terrible. The waiter was very unprofessional. Wild horses couldn't drag me back here.

Do not eat here, absolute rip off Two seekh kebabs in Nan £3:80, going rate is £3 Also, won't give you chilli and mayonase to take to table, refuses to give you tap water which they legally cannot refuse, avoid.

I used to come to this chip shop on a regular but now it’s a definitely a no go disgusting customer service rude typical behaviour. Learn how to speak to your customers or put someone on the job that speaks clear English this isn’t a stall in dadyal. And your portion sizes are ridiculous for what your charging people sort it out and tell the bald owner to get it together instead of standing there staring at female customers. ( so yeah total void they are better food places on alum rock road) And if you feel this isn’t valid go into the store and see for yourselves.

What a traditional chip shop should be, whether you go on for a basic chicken and chips or a grill - they cater for all. I have been visiting now for over 15 years and the quality is consistent, friendly staff who provide a great service and never disappoint. They open till late too, parking can be an issue but it's in a public road so can't complain too much.

£1.50 for a single sausage, you must be dumb enough to buy that, really and truly daylight robbery. Go to other chip shops , a single sausage would cost 80p / £1. Donner meat looks old and soggy in that steamer thing. It's also pointless of you having that name 'My Favorite Chip Shop' .. definitely not my favorite chip shop.

The worst fish and chips you want to have diarrhea this is the place. They don't make the chips properly and there fish is not cooked properly better to try elsewhere

I've been going to these guys for years and always knew they were on the slightly more expensive side, but today - £5 for fish and chips, £4 for donner meat and chips for SMALL. What is this? Is there a shortage of potatoes to hike prices up 50-100%? Are you renting premises in Central London? I couldn't believe it.

A little pricey but the food is admittedly quite nice They offer a wide variety of menu items, nothing stands out but that's not necessarily a bad thing Solid food that's always on point. Never hsd a problem with over or undercooking. Never hsd soggy chips or old Doner 4/5 if you're in the area I highly recommend it

My favourite chip shop.... for getting food poisoning and a bad stomach for days. GUARANTEED. Chips are chips off bricks. Chilli saucy is sweet. Donner meat guaranteed to make you have diarrohea. Hygiene non existent. Customer service - no one smiles to greet you. Each time ive been here i have had a bad stomach for days. Rarely find anything fresh here

If I could give it 0, I would. Poor quality of fish, which is a mush. Must be a bottom feeder breed. And as for the chips, my first bite related to something which I could describe as plastic. With the further few chips being below average for any chippy. And this famous chilli sauce? Id rather buy one from Tesco blindfolded and give that a try. Hygiene...id rather not comment on.

Formally known as Sajids and that was a great asian style chippy, so I was surprised that the new owners had kept the same ingredients and maintained the same tasting food. They are however slipping slightly in terms of cleanliness and quality; they need to keep on top of this or it’s a downward spiral. On the plus side, really tasty lamb seesh kebabs, shami kebab burger is spot on, decent chicken and lamb donner kebab.
