Ordered my food and phoned the restaurant an hour later, they said the driver was leaving in 10 minutes. after 50 minutes and not receiving the food I phoned again, to which they responded the driver had left already and was an ‘uber eats’ driver. After looking outside my door I was disgusted to see my order being thrown in the middle of my street. This is disrespectful, thoughtless and disgusting behaviour. How can you treat a paying customer like that?? After phoning Uber myself I had received confirmation that it was in fact a shake house delivery driver. Still haven’t gotten a refund and I am absolutely disgusted at this behaviour.

Terrible service. Ordered delivery this evening which is 20 minutes late. Everytime we call the shop the phone gets put down with no way of speaking to staff

Dirty tables and floors, rude staff and wrong food given. On top of that, we were told they only take cash or bank transfer??? Never heard of a dessert parlour doing personal bank transfers written on a receipt…

Desserts are nice, bit of pain it's cash only but you can bank transfer...bit of a pain when u just want to sit and relax. Nothing really exciting about atmosphere in there, just a few seats to sit down if your lucky to get one. But would recommend this place.

Ordered via uber eats. Now let me tell you I was shocked. Ordered multiple items and a cookie dough ( Go Large ). The picture on uber eats is misleading by miles. And this is what I received. How on planet earth can you serve something like this and charge me 10£. Embarrassing never returning again.

Ordered from here the ice cream wasn’t choc as ordered tasted more coffee than anything else. For the prices they charge the items should match the prices. Better of using a shake house somewhere else as this doesn’t match the franchises level of goodness

They don't deliver the order then say its the customers fault very rude staff please avoid

Now what can I say about this establishment other than what period of time is this company operating? NO credit card or debit cards accepted, what have we gone back in time to the 19th century? The milkshakes themselves were all very nice, the box they do seems quite good value for money. But then forcing my dear brother to walk with his obvious deformity felt a bit harsh to me, he had to get cash out so we could pay for our drinks. He came back gasping for air & needing assistance. At that time he then started looking at other things to buy, could this be the firms new IP to knacker out their customer to the point they need sustanance to keep them going. I felt sorry for him having to undergo such an ordeal all for the sake of our £5 drinks. But it had to be done we had no other choice sadly. I hope the firm realises that customers require other methods of payment other than Cash, i wonder if the old bartering system might work at this place?

I ordered waffle sticks a couple of months ago and it was great-generous toppings. Just ordered a couple now and it was pathetic. Almost no toppings at all and didn't get what I asked for.

Ordered via just eat and got a pathetic serving of Cookie Dough even though we paid for go large, The ice cream was freezer damaged and it had a fly in it see pics, A blatant Rip Off!

Ordered here through Uber eats and got 2 cookie doughs and a milkshake. When it arrived after an hour they sent 1 cookie dough and it was the complete wrong one. When I rang up I spoke to a young Asian girl who was rude and said it wasn’t her problem. Even though it’s clear that they messed up the order and it was nothing to do with the Uber driver. Think it’s time to employ new staff cause the girl I spoke too hasn’t got a clue about customer service.

I ordered a large cookie dough and they gave me small even though I was charged for a large. On top of that they’ve sent me it burned. Not happy. Literally have one job I’ll be real and you somehow burn cookie dough. Joke.

Ice cream shakes here . Lovely fressh and sweet with combination of milk fruits and ice cream. Highly recommended 👌

Probably the worse service I have ever received. The woman at the front desk had a stinking attitude. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Gave me the wrong order she then lied and tried to blame it on the driver. The driver confirmed that they got the order wrong and that's all he's received.

The worse place to order from! Placed an order on Uber eats & they didn’t send one of our items we paid for. I then called the shop & the silly girl over the phone on the other side was so rude! She needs to be sacked for the way she spoke to me! She told me to report it to Uber eats without apologising. I told her I’d rather come to store & collect & her response was ‘you ain’t getting it go through Uber eats’. I’m glad I recorded the call therefore I now shall upload it over socials & expose this behaviour of shake house staff member. I will not ever be ordering from here again & I recommend you to not to order from here too, or you will have missing item & will be charged. Horrendous people in the month of ramadhan stealing from customers!

Really poor customer service. Addition to this do not take card in this day and age i think hmrc need to follow this up.

Really nice desserts - was hoping the waffle would be harder but it comes as a really soft cake. Still very tasty. My husband enjoyed the cookie dough. Chocolate ice cream wasn't very Chocolatey. Will definitely be coming back. Very quick delivery too

As I’m a regular customer I’ve never had a bad milkshake always fill the cups up also cookie dough always had loads of toppings and chocolate sauce and the are so lovely also the donuts are heaven to eat the staff are brilliant and are always nice and friendly and chatty haven’t got a bad thing to say I wouldn’t go anywhere else 10/10 👏🏻👌🏻👍

Cookie dough completely burnt underneath just rang up and they have told me it's the drivers fault it's burnt. Would not be ordering from here again.

ShakeHouse -Sheldon B26 3JH. unbelievably lush.... can’t wait for the eat in to start. what a lovely place with a very pleasant team, shop was buzzing with customers, and with delivery drivers in & out. very clean and tidy, staff nicely presented, food was very luscious, we ordered a fair variety & waited only 7 minutes, cookie dough, milk cake, waffles, milkshakes & mojito’s, so full marks. keep up the hard work guys, best of luck. After waiting over 1 and a half hr for a milkshake and some milkcakes the dessert finally arrived and was very poor. The milkshakes are the worst.

Cookie dough was ok, but barely tasted like terrys chocolate orange and was overdone. Cheesecake shake just tastes like a normal shake, just thicker. Sundae wasnt really a sunday, just a load of ice cream (never a bad thing!) with two ferrero rochers on too. Considering that a scoop of ice cream is 1.50, and the sundae is 4.50, you may as well get a sundae as it's like 5 scoops of ice cream and u get some sort of topping.

It makes such a positive difference that the guys use soft serve ice cream for the shake. I only asked for Peanut Butter to be mixed in as I am not one for having a sweet tooth but I will be returning as the shake was delicious!

Had a cookie dough and milkshake and let me just say the service in store was amazing, staff was polite and friendly. The milkshake itself was the millionaire and tasted 10/10 enjoyed the shake and my milk chocolate cookie dough. Will be back on a daily basis now

Absolutely amazing. Im a regular here and get the deserts delivered to me. The uncle who delivers the desert is super nice 👌 he bares in mind that I got kids and knocks on the window (only had to ask once when delivered) super happy 😄 his service is spot on

Deserves a 0 if that! The worst customer service in human history. Rude and uneducated man who accused me of stealing a £4.75 sundae! Don't order on a Thursday evening because this man does not understand English or the skills to communicate.

Love this place, order comes quickly. Always nice and even had a freebee to try this week. Will be ordering again soon.

Would have given 4 stars as the house shake was nice, however trying to phone them was not so easy, twice the call dropped and i had to go into store and order and wait, instead of calling in the order and it being ready. Also they don't do half waffles, and yes i understand they do waffle sticks, however just a small gripe

This place has a variety of shakes went to shake house for the first time amazing service. Very well mannered staff hygiene is on point anyone who has not tried shake house go check it out.Trust me u won’t be disappointed i give this place 5 stars not forgetting they have a wide range of desserts with decent price. Excellent little dessert shop on the main coventry road A45 in Birmingham. Parking can be an issue as it’s situated on the corner but the shop itself is very clean & is always smelling so sweet🤗, staff are always polite and every time I’ve picked up from here as a courier i’m treated with respect. Well done to the management.

Ordered from here tonight for the first time and WOW!! Fast delivery, ordered the Million Dollar and Waffle Sticks and they were the best desserts we have ever had. Definitely recommend and this is my new favourite dessert shop. If you aint tried this place yet, you need too!

Ordered a king rocher sundae but all I got was chocolate ice cream with a few sprinkles of nuts and one ferrero rocher cut into 2 halves topped over . How is that a king rocher sundae without ferrero ice cream. The menu says the sundae contains chocolate and Ferraro ice cream that’s misleading as it’s just pure chocolate ice cream . Do not mislead by writing something and actually producing something completely different.

I have been calling for an hour regarding a order and they did not answer the phone. What is that point of having a phone if your not going to answer it.

Placed an order, they were out of one of the items we ordered, they called to inform us and offer a substitute. Staff were very friendly and helpful, delivery driver appologised for the delay and they even gave us a free cookie. Food was deliciuos and well worth the wait.

Paid for a sharing cookie dough but was given a single portion. As it was takeaway I didn't realise until I got home with it. The dough was very good however. Staff were quite standoffish and could have been more polite. Very blunt, no smiles or please and thank you's. Music was blasting too loud to really hear them.

My friend had specifically asked for NO CHOCOLATE on her waffle as she was lactose intolerant... it was an allergy request which they specified they catered for. She has a screenshot of her order notes in which she wrote ‘Can I have banana and strawberries on the waffle instead of chocolate as I’m allergic.’ In addition, she rang to make sure that they wouldn’t put any chocolate on. Of course, what you expect from a place which has no organisation or proper managerialism; there was CHOCOLATE all over the waffle. She then rang and complained in which the owner himself was rude and disrespectful, I don’t know if he thinks he can get away with it but I won’t let him. HE DELETED HER REVIEW and said that she lied about asking for no chocolate however she has PROOF. She rang again just to explain and he hung up as he was embarrassed to find out he was wrong. Listen to this review, please! Save some coin. Oh and I wasn’t there but she shown me all that went on and whether I was there or not I’d trust my friend who usually tips and gives 5* reviews than a lying, manipulating and hypocritical company. This is not a fabricated story as you tried to pin on another bad review, you’re an embarrassment to Shakehouse as a whole and quit as you’re not fit to be a good owner.

This place honestly has the best shakes and waffles! I have been waiting for somewhere like this to open up locally after the last dessert shop closed before I had a chance to go.

Well well well.... what can i say... the waffles, cookie doughs, shakes are so far the best i have had throught my catchment area from B8-B10 ... its different and fresh ... Always hot and on time delivery ... Big shout out to Sunny for the desserts and smashing work! Keep it up

The desserts are very tasty and excellent service. My personal favourites are the Ferrero Rocker Shake and the Milk Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough!!

- The Elvis shake (personal favourite) was the perfect consistency -Waffle sticks are a massive portion could share between 2 people -Sundaes are a decent size and looked tasty Will 100% be returning, I normally use the Bordesley green Shakehouse which has gone down recently IMO

After visiting shakehouse sheldon now on numerous occasions i have to leave a review as they are faultless in every aspect! Ordered desserts - first time trying shake house and overall was a good experience ! Delivery was within 15-20 minutes so everything was still piping hot and the ice cream / milkshake was still cold and not melted which was good. My only issues were that the waffles were a little dry, seems as tho they really skimped out on the sauces, literally had the thinnest drizzle. And potions were smaller than expected. But even then - for the price I'm not mad. Cookie dough was DELICIOUS and milkshake was good. And albeit the dryness, waffles were still tasty! Would order from again x

Came into Shakehouse Sheldon last night what can I say the service was amazing the manager behind the counter was really polite and helpful. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE OF DEALING WITH UNPROFESSIONALLY ILL MANNERED DODGY PEOPLE. Sorry for the detailed review but it is necessary for the readers. I've just visited this shop between 2300 and 2315 hrs along with my daughter. We were about to order but were told that cards are not acceptable and it is CASH ONLY ! After withdrawing money from nearest cash machine (got charged £1.50 transaction fee), I placed the order for one strawberry smoothie, one pineapple shake and one bottle of still water and was charged £9. I requested for a till receipt but the RUDE guy who hasn't got any manners stated that WE DON'T GIVE RECEIPTS. I insisted that it is my statutory right to be given the receipt for the items I have bought and amount of money paid. He then printed me a kitchen order which DIDN'T SHOW any price of the items. Again he said that he could write the prices with pen! Upon checking that kitchen order, I was shocked to see that only two items were recorded, I challenged him why he didn't enter all three items in the till record and he said it was BY MISTAKE and he can write the third item by hand on kitchen order. End of the day till reconciliation will not show the third item sold which is deliberate attempt to show less sales and money of third item sold will go into the pocket of the person doing this DODGY business. I will report this business to Trading Standards and HMR . It's not about £9 rather It's about business ethics and customer services for which we pay and expect to be treated with respect and integrity.
