Very tasty food. Nice service and good reminds me of Bangladesh.

The food is totally worst. They served biriyani with dal. The restaurant service totally worst. If you complain just order and pay after see that not ok their food they will not return your money. All staff behaviour just worst. Never will visit there and suggest not to visit

Wow wow we don't even know people servers customer like this. We are 8 people went for lunch 1 waiter he's on the phone, we are looking for order food then he comes after 20 minutes late. He said he got 2 tables to serve and I takey order. Food will take 45 minutes that's a joke. That's no how you serve the customer. We had to walk away from the restaurant.

We have tried the restaurant food, mix starter really nice and reasonable, Biryani should be authentic like Bangladeshi style, Kala bhuna taste not nice, gorur sina bhuna fantastic, elish mash was nice too, overall food and service are good. Thank you

Sheek kebab nice juicy done I had special noodles mixed chicken meat prawn eggs king prawns puree all very good can't complain too much noodle was banging good just like if you had in Bangladesh style food took time to come was worth wait

It's a good Bangoli resturent with delicious food items, especially I eat garlic nan with beaf , the both items taste was best, garlic naan bread taste was delicious and beaf was also tender and delicious and Bangladeshi people will get the vibe of Bangladeshi atmosphere here

Delicious food, excellent service

Had food there 1 week ago, very unprofessional environment, staff behaviour is not so pleasant, and got zero knowledge about their food can't even describe the portion size .food was ok, nothing special , but the quantity was good.. one Curry is enough for two people.

Positives: Very good food, staff, service and atmosphere Masha Allah. Tables, cutlery and glassware was clean. As most food is eaten by hand, they provide each table with a roll of kitchen paper which I thought was brilliant and better than napkins. We are Pakistani and wanted to try a traditional Bangladeshi dish. We went for Baol Uri as sadly my first choice of Chital Kufta wasn’t available at the time. I didn’t know what our choice would be like except that it wouldn’t contain small bones. I expected fish in a gravy but this dish consists of a khara masalah. This means the ingredients remain unmelted and can be visibly seen as small chunks. The fish is a large piece cut cross section with a bone in the middle. So it’s what you might call a ‘dry dish.’ The prawn puri was also very nice. Salad was nicely chopped into small pieces so could be scooped up with a spoon without cutting it. We couldn’t resist ordering fries to munch on whilst the food was being prepared. Talk about the perfect fry! These were done to perfection Masha Allah. The icing on the cake was that there was no music or tv blaring in the background making this the perfect place to eat out for the conscientious Muslim. Negatives: Really none Masha Allah! Recommendations: Would be helpful if the traditional Bangladeshi dishes had a description in English next to them. We didn’t want to ask the waiter what each one was as it’s time consuming for them to explain. Highly recommend Panshi. Do give it a try. In sha Allah you won’t be disappointed! Parking: Can be an issue depending on time of day. We parked a couple of minutes walk away on Lloyd Street. It’s behind the shops across the road from Panshi (off Golden Hillock Rd). Happy dining!

The staff's behaviour was really bad and rude. Not smiling and showing attitude. We asked something and replied very rudely illogically. I'll never go there again. I ordered Shatkora chicken, it was good.

The best restaurant for Bengali food. They serve best of the best food. Loved their food, smooth service, very humble & caring people. Clean atmosphere & clean toilets. I will definitely visit again soon!

Best place for deshi taste. Specially their hidol chatne and tarka was awesome. I would recommend my people to come here to get authentic deshi food.. .

Not much to look at from outside but, "boy the food is something else" really amazing fresh taste and plate licking flavours. Service was great. Give them a go if you're ever visiting this area.

Excellent, smiley service. We ordered ilich mas dim, chicken roast, meat curry, naan bread, it was actually two tables full of food 😊😊 The naan bread was so so soft and everything was prepared almost immediately, and great prices too. We were taken care of so well, and they even asked whether we needed a privacy partition, and checked up on us and asked whether the food was alright. Would definitely recommend. Very friendly staff. Child friendly which is really good. Clean and attentive. The food does take some time to come out but that is because it is freshly made. Lovely food, full of flavour and lots of variety. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for an authentic bengali experience.

Customer service is very good, price is reasonable but food is average.

Only one waiter running like a headless chicken. I rather pity on him. Ordered prawn bhuna. But what got ? Very tiny prawns swimming in gravy, does not look like bhuna or they don’t know what the bhuna is despite they are claiming as a desi restaurant. Very shame.

Review doesn’t justify this place, we went for dinner there. Four of us ordered Kala bhuna, Lamb shatkora, Hilsha fish egg bhuna and mas satni ( with some side dishes). All of us was very pleased with the food. Tasty food with reasonable price.The rice portion was massive. The after meal tea was soo good as well. They give you fan-gua (betel leaf/nut)😂 with the check . We will go back again if we visit Birmingham soon. ( Apologies,Took the picture too early before everything was on the table)

We came from Leeds and was told of panchis and how good it was.. We just had to try it..... What can I say.... First of all the owner was amazing.. One of the nicest person I have ever come across. May Allah grant him and his family janatul ferdos... The owner treated like his own family. The food was amazing. Authentic bengali food at its best. I would highly recommend this place to all my family and friends.

Excellent moowa good for deshi food with excellence

Since this place has been taken over from the old shahjalal restaurant it has continued to provide traditional authentic bangladeshi food which is full of flavours & exotic tastes. You must try it, if you are in the area as they provide home style of food which is cooked full of traditional spices. The staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable. They have a wide range of variety of choices from small to big fish, beef, lamp, chicken with various vegetables sides.

I had Prawn Puri, Elisha Dim Bhuna, Mogoz Bhuna, Meat Biryani with Tarka Dhal & White Rice. Everything was really tasty. Loved the Mogoz. It was delicious. Can't fault anything. But they should be a abit more generous with the prawns in the puri. Service was good. Clean dining area. I would recommend this place to family and friends who enjoy Bangladeshi food. 👍

Wonderful food and a friendly service definitely would recommend

Food was very oily and gave me indigestion all night. They also take ages with the orders. It took about 1 hour to process my phone order even though I was the only customer.

I am new in this country. And I am missing my bangladeshi food. Then my wife told me I know u r missing your bd food. And my wife took me to Poncho khana RESTAURANT. But we didn't get park near of this restaurant. When she got a place to park. It was in front of Panshi. I told my wife I like to go this restaurant. Because when I was in Bangladesh. Always I like to go Panshi in moulvibaza. And we got in. And ordered food Elisha buna, Roop chanda biran and some bortha and satni. Oh my days. It was fully bangladeshi test. I liked tea also. I am so happy tor their nice hospitality. I will go again to this restaurant. There only cash. No card. Nice and clean RESTAURANT.

Top Class Currys..... I had some kala bhuna & chicken Tikka Jalfrezi few days ago as a take out, alhamdulillah both currys was excellent everyone in my family enjoyed it. Kala bhuna was the best. Portion was big enough for 2 people. Overall it was really good experience.I would highly recommend people to try this restaurant

Ordered mix grill and chicken tikka jalfrezi it's diabolically disgusting chicken tikka and tandoori chicken old no taste at all never again waste of money.

Staff are very polite, service very good. Tastes of dishes good, Hopefully there'll be improvements in this category.
