I think after all the take-aways I've ever had in my life, this was by far the worst. So much so, most of it went into the bin, even the dog didn't want to know! We both ordered a chicken korma with special rice, but the rice was full of water and completely tasteless and the chicken was incredibly tough and chewy - the korma sauce was also watery and tasteless.. All I can assume that this was left over sloppy seconds - it was absolutely disgusting, over priced and totally inedible. Will never ever be ordering from this establishment again!

Ordered a takeaway arrived on time delivery driver was super friendly. Food was nothing special, flavour was lacking from all the meals, it was hot though. ordered a sag aloo and got rice. Called them, and they sent it out straight away 10/10 for rectifying the mistake. They sent complimentary poppadoms..........Avoid eating them at all costs they were dripping in oil, and they tasted like they had been cooked in dirty oil. Unfortunately, it's back to Chutney Corner for us.

WARNING we booked here 2 weeks in advance with some friends and they gave our table to someone else. They suggested we come back 45 minutes later so we wouldn't have eaten until at least 21.30 and instead of apologising & perhaps offering to give us a discount for the inconvenience, they just lied through their teeth saying they had tried to ring my mobile that they didn't even have the number for! Was totally disgusted as this absolutely ruined our night - they really didn't give a monkeys. We will never attempt to go here again.

Really lovely food- fresh ingredients and piping hot as well as chilli hot! Immaculately clean restaurant and very polite service. (Have also had take-aways from Shahids which are always delicious and good value for money). You do have to take your own alcohol, but no problem as the shop next door has a great selection of beers a d wine. This little gem is well worth a visit.

Food was as you would expect from an Indian. We all got exactly what we expected from the food. Biggest issue was being charged corkage. This is a bring your own alcohol restaurant which they then charge you to drink if you use one of their bottle openers or their glasses. There is no mention of this anywhere on their website and when we asked our waiter they were quite rude. Even the manager came over, without being asked and told us basically to put up and shut up.

We had a Takeaway. Food not very hot and very bland. I had the Shaun Special with chicken and prawns. Prawns OK but chicken was obviously, pre cooked sliced chicken just added to the dish. Tasteless

For a newly opened restaurant the service was warm and friendly, the food was excellent. Portions Were perfect, the spicing was true to form, really tasty.

Really great experience - we pre ordered and asked for delivery at a specific time and the curries arrived at exactly the right time and piping hot. The chicken used was a really high quality and the sauces were full of flavour. We will certainly be back!

My first time here and I really liked it. Firstly, I like ordering food on the menu that has two chillis next to it; I expect it to be spicy and it was. It really bugs me when you order something that should have a kick to it and it doesn’t. Not an issue here. I had a Naga and it was excellent.It had real flavour; not generic at all. Good portion size. Thirdly, the bring your own policy is fair and helps you to keep the price down. I’ve been to restaurants where they charge a lot more per drink. A lot more. It was quiet in there but very pleasant and clean. So yeah, for me, awesome. I live locally so having something like this is a real bonus as there is very little around. The food is good and the staff friendly and the place is clean. So, just go.

We had a takeaway delivery. I was quite disappointed in the portion sizes - particularly the Nan bread. I had a bhuna which was nice but not spicy at all. The chicken tikka was lovely, my husband had a biryani which was quite bland. The food was ok but I think it will be Chutney Corner again for me. It wasn’t good value for the money.

Absolutely brilliant and how lucky are we to have such a fabulous restaurant on our doorstep. Really tasty food at great prices, lovely atmosphere and the added bonus of BYO. Finally, I cannot understand the first two reviews which were somewhat damning. I can only think that the restaurant, not having been open long was experiencing teething problems. Personally, I would not hesitate in recommending this restaurant.

We were visiting my sister in Ashley and normally travel to a well known Indian restaurant in Lymington. Fortunately a relative recommended Shahid which is somewhat closer. What a fantastic tip……..Shahid serves great food at a sensible price and the service is impeccable……it is also BYO so you save money on alcohol. There’s a supermarket two doors up for your requirements. We have no need to travel to Lymington in the future as Shahid does such a good job.

Lovely meal in this newly opened restaurant in Walkford. The food was really tasty and the staff very friendly. It’s also BYO so a real ‘Brucie Bonus’ 😊

We had a table of 13 food, which was excellent , as where the staff ! We've been to a lot of curry houses, so we thought we would try a new restaurant it wasn't disappointing. I would definitely recommend it! New restaurant, keep up the good work. We will be back !

Newly opened so thought I'd give it a try. What a disappointment. Meal was bland and not even hot. They took it back and microwaved it to reheat . Restaurant is also very cold. Definitely one that I won't be returning to.

The wait is quite long for a collection, portion sizes are small and food was tasteless, not the usual flavours compared to other Indian restaurants in the area.
