KFC Christchurch - Barrack Road in Christchurch

Rude staff, no individual portions of chips with our family feast just one awful box of chips, no bucket, just a bag of soggy greasy chicken, no forks for the coleslaw, no wipes, no salt in fact diabolical . Rang restaurant who were very unhelpful.. was likened to buying street food in a third world country..

Clean and cosy dining room. Friendly team and quick, hot meals! Thank you.

Served by a very polite man, he was friendly and super helpful, unfortunately the name on the receipt came up as Caroline so do not know his name.

Last two times had terrible service. First time stood at counter ages waiting whilst they all stood around talking ignoring me walked out in end. Second time ordered a bucket meal got home only chips in it went back in five minutes made to feel I was in the wrong

Useless they forget things also the delivery drives are crappie most of my food come missing and they don't give out refunds

A GOOD KFC to use, but parking could be better, but KFC are not to blame for this. Thank you.

Food was cold and when I asked to change for hot food the member of staff refused to change it. Really bad service!

First time there Saturday. Spent over 50 bucks staff were absolutely amazing even when I messed up order.place was clean when food arrived everthing was correct and tasted fantastic..well done people

Chicken was ok but the chips were awful and soggy and tasteless, didn't enjoy it at all, not good value for money at all.

We ordered a bucket of 6 pieces of regular recipe chicken and chips. We received a very small box consisting of 2 drumsticks, 2 very small thighs and 2 hot wings which we didn't order. ???!!!

Quick efficient food cooked well

The chicken they served up was dried out and barely edible. It had clearly been cooked ages ago and left in the heated rack. The fries were the opposite and barely cooked

Staff friendly, hardly waited. Nice clean, seating environment.

Couldn't use my KFC App as it would affect all the machines it was claimed though out the store. Ordered using the order machine but received no receipt. Staff seemed disinterested. Most of the food was nearly cold by the time we got home. Serving those who had ordered via Delivero and the likes rather than the walk-ins. Think I'll continue using Somerford KFC in future. No a happy chappy

Ordered a meal for 2 people to sit down and very couldn't be bothered to walk 10 feet to deliver to our table

excellent service, I went with my husband and daughter and we were attended by the manager named Daniel. very friendly, respectful and attentive. all the staff were very helpful. all the food was delicious and very fresh. I will definitely come back

You know what you are getting with KFC, and as always freshly cooked, great taste and great value for money

Asking for rice box gave mechicken burger instead, chicken wing wasn't cooked, more ice then juice......disgusting

It was okay. The fries were soggy. The chicken fillet was nice. The chicken popcorn tasted like plastic. Overall was not satisfactory.

Hadn't had a KFC in years. Polite nice service only 3 for atmosphere as I did not remain in the store but returned home to eat my food. Food was of a good standard and tasty.

AVOID!!!! My collection order was cancelled just as I was pulling up outside but they charged me twice for it!!! Replaced my order which was a mistake. Cups were leaking the drinks and one of the box meals was missing. Complete lack of customer service, poor management and food was a disgrace.

Absolutely shocking! Charged twice but the store cannot refund us as we need to speak to head office which is closed! Food was cold, one of the orders missing, various drinks but none were labelled, lid not put on the beans properly so they spilled out, chicken fillets dry and chips were dire! Really not sure if this quality is just the Barrack Road store but we will never ever order from KFC again. I tried to complain to the store but the manager who spoke very limited English was not interested and told me to call head office! I will update the post with how that goes! My advice would be to forget KFC and get fish and chips.

This is the second time in a row my order was missing items. The best bit was the gravy but that was cold like everything else.

Must be under new management. Excellent kfc now. Always fresh food and fast service. They even remember the gravy now.

What an atrocious KFC outlet. Communication difficulties with the staff who really struggle with both English language AND customer service. The two males serving must have maxim that the '...customer is always wrong.' I could not believe how rude they were to me before I walked out (as others were doing) after waiting a full 10 minutes to be served. It does not take two adult males to serve a line of school children especially when one of them was just standing around watching whilst customers were queued up. I spent nothing in the store I was so disgusted with the attitude and performance of the staff. Never will I go back and, I imagine, nor will all the other people that walked out with me.

Nice outlet, wrong burger and no sauces. Check before leaving.

Always seem to have food missing from the order. Yesterday had 4 portions of chips and 2 bits of chicken missing!! When we phoned up they said they could do the order again if we came to collect , defeats the object of using Uber eats for delivery! Won’t be using again!

Food was a bit hit and miss but has greatly improved. Last three visits have been excellent

AWFUL, simply awful!! I USED to buy LOADS of KFC years ago, I hadn't had any for Five years, I won't be going back!! You USED to get three really good sized pieces of chicken, certainly not what I had and the chips, large apparently 🤦😂😂😂😂😂 just as well I didn't have that many 🤮🤮

Visited with my son and granddaughter to get a takeaway from the Barrack Road outlet. They were clearly short-staffed and seemed to be only concentrating on supplying the waiting “Deliveroo” type delivery services. We waited nearly forty five minutes in total just to order and get a simple takeaway order. Won’t be rushing back any time soon.

Ordered online, had to wait a little but not much so was offered a free drink for the wait. Food all good and order correct.

Just had a dilveroo delivery for a boneless banquet, cost me £11 for 2 skinny strips of chicken and 1 acceptable size, a few chips, gravy and a can of tango, they missed off the popcorn chicken too, pointless doing delivery's if you're going to miss items off

Quite and cozy, good lighting and views, clean store and very helpful staff.

Ordered a delivery. Missing items, swapped drinks... just appaling behaviour from what should be a reliable company. Never again... next time I fancy chicken I'll be checking out one of the local guys... they would have to really go a long way to do worse... I think the colonel would be turning in his grave at the shocking experience we.had tonight.

Last Saturday when we wanted to have some fried chicken it says that it closes half 10 and we got there by 10:15 only the lights were on and doors were closed. I believe that they could have made us our late dinner. What a shame.

Utterly awful. Ordered 3 meals for delivery by Just Eat. All items had the wrong drink, and one meal was missing the hot wings and the mini fillets. Called and they couldn't have cared less!!! Never again!

quite often find an item missing from a order.whether its a drink when delivered or a small portion of chips when ordered large . Check your food you order.

Paid for 2 coffees to be told machine not working so had to have fizzy instead. Had a box meal and they threw the beans in the lids come off and spill everywhere all over other meal in bag. Absolutely disappointed.

Not happy with this kfc in barrack road, last week went to buy some food i left because all clients in there all with out mask, why the manager aloud them in with out mask, and loads off people in that small area , me and my family wont be going to buy food from there any time soon ,

Its never been the same since the original franchisee left the shop... and I dont like the chips they changed...and last two visits the food I ordered had been on the hot tray a while i think...(not as crispy as usual). Staff are pleasant and efficient. Just never quite hits the mark it used to for me.

The social distancing was a joke - not enough mask wearing. There needs to be a place to wait for your food OR one in one out

Very dirty windows and greasy and slippery floor where hygiene inspections are made here they are !!!! and in bathrooms no soap is the Crown Virus people what with you !!!. Slow service They spend meals incorrectl!!!!.We have to ask for the washing of the tables and the boy washes the dirty rag the same table washed some stains off the floor !!!!!

Finding hard to understand what the staff are trying to say behind the till point she's foreign herself but quick services very good clean place.

Rushed back from the cinema but the doors were locked half hour early. Probably just as well bcoz they usually get the order wrong anyway :(

Waited ages for food. When arrived the chicken had been overcooked.

The food is awful, one friend had a chicken peak with the wing. The bathroom (in wi h I had to vomit) couldn't be dirtier, and the staff is awfully unprepared. Another friend whom I came with didnt have the sauce he ordered with his menu, and there was some messing up in the orders as well. But yes, the food is awful

The food took 30 minutes to prepare, and the order was mixed up and a friend's order was canceled. In conclusion, I do not recommend it, especially since there are more restaurants in the area.

A kfc is a kfc but its OK, staff forgot 1 pair of chips though, but other than that not bad foods good but greasy, but what do you expect it's fried chicken
