This place was great until yesterday when I ordered kebab in paronta. Surprised that it was ready in less than 5 minutes. Two hours after felt sick then puked up. Will never go back again. Dirty filthy place.

The naan was ok but the lamb kebabs were not that great, they weren't the best kebabs. The sauce and salad in the naan kebab were nice though.

Burnt small kebabs, burnt lamb and chicken tikka, stale paratha, awful service, damp seating area and filthy toilets. Avoid at all costs and don’t expect standards as pre previous years on top of the hill. Staff should be ashamed of themselves - embarrassing.

Food ordered on Deliveroo Tiny tub of chilli sauce given,no option to buy extra. Really disappointed The sauce is what makes the food. Need to be less tight with the sauce

Went there with my sister to. collect a take out. Seriously disappointed. The guy behind the counter was laughing at the fact that they did not have salad for the kebab and chicken tikka rolls. He said that they only now do lettuce and onion and was amused at my sisters disappointment she wouldn't be getting what they showed on their menu photos. When putting the take away together because the server was too busy laughing he put the sauces and quantities incorrectly on the individual items. If we were to return it would be out of hunger desperation !!!! (BTW the kebabs are tiny).

We ordered kebab roll which comes with salad and sauce really tasty. Service is good and seating available. Chicken tikka pitta was nice i prefer the kebab

I recently ordered a takeaway from the new location on High Street, was really looking forward to the meal after waiting so long during lockdown. Was very very disappointed by the standard of the food. The kebabs were all burnt, chicken tikka was burnt, the famous red sauce had too much salt, and on top of they are now charging £1.50 per single kebab, apparently increase due to Covid-19. I normally used to go to the branch next to Lidl but has been closed for a while now so will definitely not be going back to this branch again.

We were 5 friends.went to eat but the server kept serving these guys and when we object ed. These guys met us down the road and unfortunately there was a big fight with these drunks out side. This is not a good family place. Very disopointed.

This is a place that's been there from as long as I can remember since I was very young and years have passed but yeah quality of food and service has maintained and I will always come back for more

This place has been around for donkeys years. It was the original Shahi Nan Kebab based opposite the station at the top of the hill. Following regeneration in Southall it moved to its new current location with ample more space and seating. The fresh got naan are still great and the kebabs are still just as meaty although they seem a bit smaller than before. The chicken tikka in naan and doner in naan are best eaten freshly made at the restaurant as they otherwise get soggy. All in all though, tasty fast food for all meat eaters.

Don't bother going there. The baby chicken was totally tasteless and non-spicy with burnt taste. The seekh kebabs had a burnt taste and it was not worth the price. I won't ever go again.

It's ok but bit rough you can't take your family their. It's ok for late night kebab but not decent to take your family.

I'm sorry in advance if someone finds this review a bit offensive or not very much up to their expectations. But I think it's very necessary that we should be pointing out the negative impact which is created by some men of our (Pakistani) Society. I went to this restaurant in February when American Express was giving the shop small offer (something similar) with a £5 cashback. We ordered some chicken curry and some spinach and potato (aloo palak). The food was average. There wasn't any taste to it to be honest or I would say like it had a real lack of Spice so I had to take some extra chilli sauce and green chillies to add some flavour to the food. I make better chicken curry at home myself. The food was not expensive, it was quite cheap. The naan was fresh and crunchy. They also serve you fresh salad. The toilets were clean and the restaurant itself was clean. But if you are a person who likes a bit for spicy food with some flavour then you will not like their food as it's very very very mild. Shahi Naan doesn't accept American Express as well as they said that Amex charges more from the back-end so I ended up paying with another card though Amex did gave me my cashback manually. Two people can easily eat in around £10. The thing that stopped me from going to this restaurant again was the owner of the shop (Mr Ahmed). While my husband was speaking to him about food and other things, we ame to know that the owner has two wives. My husband got a bit witty and asked him how do you manage two wives, I cannot manage one (obviously joking as I was standing next to him). On that the owner said we don't keep such wives who have issues. If they have issues they can go back to their houses. If they wanna live with us, they should give their mouths shut!! On this comment, the owner's colleague told me not to let my husband sit in the owner's company as it will ruin his mindset. I said alhamdulillah my husband does know the difference between wrong and right. I don't need to tell him anything. But this whole scenario really offended me and made me think of the third class mind set our (specific Pakistani) Men still have. Calling themselves the followers of Islam and treating their wives like garbage, does not make sense to me, neither matches with the teachings of the religion. People need to learn the Prophet's behaviour with His wives. These men are a shame for our religion and our society. I decided not to go to this restaurant again.

We order take away today Chicken donner we always eat there it’s nice but today we got take away and they give us all burn chicken no one eat and we put it in the bin.so it’s not good service please don’t do next time we order only chicken without salad please look after your take away order Thanks not very happy with this service today.🤬😡

Food and burnt. They don't accept cards. I had to leave me partner in the shop as they won't allow her to come with me to cash point. This is disgusting service to hold my partner as ransom just for £13.50. I would never recommend anyone this horrible experience.

We had a take away from Shahi Nan Southall.BIG MISTAKE. As mentioned in previous review meat was old, stale, tasteless and disgusting. On calling the manager to complain he stated that his food should not be taken away But to be eaten on the premises! So why allow a take away! I would not advise anyone to eat in or take away. Food is really poor quality better off going to literally ANY kebab place on Southall Broadway. Food is much better and customer service is amazing. The manager literally shouted at me on the phone saying he has thousands of customer! Well he just list at least ONE ! Don't waste your hard earned money on the food in this restaurant. I would give zero points but it was not an option

Apsolutely disgusting they gave 2 mix kebabs with old meat it was very hard and dry not at all fesh.i came all the way from northampton poor food standards. Another mark against muslims dont call your self muslims when doing wrong there is no barkat in your income.

I purchased Kebab Roll with Salad. I was ill the next day - major stomach cramps and vomiting. The branch on Northcote Ave is unhygienic! They never wash their hands. Never going back there again!!!!

This is a well know place for kebabs sometimes can be hit and miss with the service as they really lack customer service However the kebabs are excellent

Every time we visit southall, we go to Shahi Naan Kebab and we order large shahi naan roll with medium spicy. It comes with red chilli garlic sauce, salad and some white sauce. Very authentic. The portions are very good and the food served is hot (which is a BIG plus point). Loved the food. :) and would definitely recommend it.

Was visiting FREINDs in southall and wanted to bring home some kebabs for later. Asked them where's the best place to go for kebab rolls and they said shahi naan.

I've heard a lot about the kebab rolls here, and I finally tried it. It was very tasty, with freshly made Naan. And the sauces were on point. Not the tastiest kebab roll I've had, but it's close.

I am going there quite oftenly and it has the same taste as it has 5 years ago but price has increased. New mangement is ok but i still love old managment and when they used to on the bridge in the small shop. Best kebab on skewer

I got a takeaway from here recently. I was not impressed. I used to eat here whilst working next door at the legal advice centre years ago. The quality and quantity of food served has gone downhill considerably. It appears that there is an over reliance on the brand identity of the Shahi Nan restaurant on South Road, which I do not think this "branch" has any association with.

Shahi nan never lets you down. With the marination n drooling chutni. Kebabs as well as paneer tikka simply blissful. Must visit place. Kheer is homework delicious

Excellent kebabs best in London , always good and excellent value . We are regulars eat in and takeaway . Chicken shawarma is also very good

My wife and I had gone to the original Shahi Naan Kebab on the bridge in Southall some 35 years ago and it was superb so recently while in the area we visited the new one. Alas it was not the same. The service was awful, place dirty, people serving Probably asylum seekers; service awful, and the kebabs were just rubbish. The place should be condemned.

As I was driving out with my wife and felt hungry so we decided to get the take away from this place as it's quit famous fir their food when I got their I had to wait to get my order that's give me the money one to have close look at the restaurant and the way they prepaid their food I was really shocked to see they have no hygienic standards staff uniform was dirty and they keep cleaning their dirty hand on their clothes and do cleaning and make food at same time the surface and the area was dirty and every one of their famous kebab was burnt most of them like charcoal at front of me one man refused to take his 6 kebabs because they were burnt same as their chicken tikka don't get me wrong I love eating out but if you take me to eat free to this restaurant I won't go fur me never again I hope ealing council visit this place ASAP

We came here as it was recommended by a friend. If you can put up with not so good surroundings then this is the place for kebabs.

Came here last week for naan and seekh kebab, which was so scrumptious, soft, juicy and full of flavour. Love the salad, the mayo and I only ever have a hint of chilli sauce as the kebab is quite spicy anyway. If im ever in west london...i never leave without stopping at this place. We ordered takeaway, though there was seating available indoors. Only thing I would say is that the kebabs can be a little too charred. Other than that this place has never failed me.

I thought I would give the place a try on a recent trip to London and was looking forward to having a bite to eat as the reviews were mostly positive. Upon arriving at the restaurant it was very busy which is usually a good sign as it often means the food is good. How wrong could I be? Very much was the answer. We ordered kebabs, a lamb curry, naans, a vegetable samosa and a kebab roll. The food was produced very quickly but the service was the most awful I've ever experienced. The food was just left on the counter and no cutlery was provided. The lamb currybwas delivered a few minutes later and was so poor it was runny like gravy and contained very little lamb. When we asked for a jug of water it was left on the counter with disposable cups. Again I had to go and get these myself. The kebab sizes were miniscule and if you want to eat 2 full size kebabs you will have to order 4 kebabs. I've eaten out at many places in the UKsome very good and some not so good but this was the worst place I've visited. The staff were rude and arrogant, the service was non-existent and the food was the poorest me and my family ever tasted. The place isn't great value anyway and I would recommend others thinking about visiting this dump to AVOID and visit several other good restaurants in Ealing or Southall.

The Shahi Nan branch opposite Southall train station is a real institution. My favourite is their mixed kebab served on freshly made naan breads. The garlic and chilli sauce is brilliant. It's my go to comfort food. Although they have inflated their prices and portions are smaller, but still really good.

This was the old shack opposite the station on the Southall bridge. Now they have decent seating available and they've moved a little further down the road. This is fantastic food, if you order the right stuff. The kebab roll is superb with garlic and chilli sauce (made in house) especially with paratha. The lamb tikka, lamb chops and shahi chicken wings are also winners. The food is spicy and hot...amazing if thats your deal!

I went yesterday and ordered two large chicken tikka rolls. At first he only put on for one large roll, asked for the chicken to be well cooked but it was burnt. You could see it burnt and even taste it. the salad wasn't fresh at all. Couldn't even have half of it as it wasn't edible and made my friend puke. I wouldn't recommend it even the other reviews say it's cheap. You should get a decent meal at least.

Place is newly build now shifted from the bridge. It's nice n clean but still a cafe look yet nice food.The only downfalls is that it still does not as s family restiarant, so we prefer take away a then dine inn.

This is the place which used to be on the southall bridge in front of he entrance of southall overground station now moved from there about 100feet down Taste and menu are the same the kebabs are half the size you will get anywhere else so if you want a proper meal order like double the portion I won't really recommend this place but if it's very late you can go there like anytime after even 12 midnight and grab a bite to eat that's about it, seating is lat better now Compared to previous place Portion of kebabs are tiny so order twice

Well I popped in for lunch and this place never fails in the quality of their kebabs, they're fresh, juicy, hot and very well spiced. The fresh nana and the chilli sauce is very good too, prices are reasonable for the great food that they do. It is a small place and has limited seating inside, always busy with the takeaway trade too. It could do with renovating but I suppose you can look past that all considering the great tasting food. If you like kebabs this place has to be tried.

The food is always good quality however service is sometimes slacking! There is something called working as a team.. if someone is placing a big order but there is 3 other people waiting in the queue, I would start taking other people's orders instead of tossing some kebabs every minute which can cook by themselves! Maybe it makes them look like they are working? A few more staff working would be ideal! I do prefer the restaurant now compared to when they were on top of the bridge though!

Shahi fails to disappoint. Sometimes it's not up to scratch but I would say 90% of the time I leave satisfied. Whether it's the chicken doner or the kebab roll both taste amazing and their chilli sauce is one of a kind. Enjoy everyone

This review is for the Shahi Nan Kebab on Northcote Avenue, Southall.Spent around £25 in there and the food was awful as were the portion sizes. Avoid to be honest It is a small takeaway and you'd expect much better quality food.

One of the oldest takeaway in the town and the best chicken shawarma kebab the garlic sauce taste really nice keep it up

Shahi naan are the best Asian kebabs you will ever find been going there as a kid with family and 25 years later still love the taste the red chutney is amazing no one can make it like that.Thank you Shahi naan for awesome food please don't ever close as I travel 15miles to visit you once a month for this tasty yummy food Rita x

This is a family owned business and they own few in southall. They have been here for many years and the quality and recipes are the best. I go here as often as I can and it's not unhealthy depending on what you have as most is salad a grilled meat. They have also catered few high profile events for governments due Their infamous reputation. Don't expect service with aSmile etc. The food speaks for itself. Excellent.

Absolutt forferdelig og brent nan kebab som jeg bestilte, maten var brent og overfylt med sånn dårlig dressing. Dro dit fordi hadde sett mange som sto og spiste der. Hygiene i butikken var ikke så bra heller.

Customer service gone down hill no smiles from staff they talk to you so miserably. They have absolutely no customer service manners at all. The way they talk to you and serve you it's like your in Pakistan. The food however is as good as it normally is. A business runs on how good u are with ur customers. To be honest won't be going thr anytime soon. P.s give ur staff a happy pill.

The Shahi advertises itself as the original kebab shop in Southall, but there are three shops with same name and claim. Not to clean or inviting the food is average at best for this Asian food paradise.It may be the original but it's not the best!

I grew up on these kebab rolls and is my go to when I need a kebab fix. I've met people from far and wide who make the trip especially for these kebabs so you know you're in good hands. There are a total of 4 branches in southall alone, the one on the bridge being the best (this has now relocated about 100 yards down the road due to major works to Southall Station, so it's no longer the historical shop that's suspended from the bridge :( ) hits the spot everytime, the chickens good too. Always ask for the garlic and chilli sauce otherwise don't bother having it at all.

They have very few tables and it is very basic. I bought a lamb wrap to go. Quality and value are very good

Not the best looking place or customer service- hey! Let's get real ...... People go for the food. The simple menu never disappoints ..... We just go for the taste which has been consistent for over 30 years with me and my family ...... Just thinking about the fresh lamb kebabs and freshly cooked fresh nan with all their sauces makes my mouth water. We travel 15 miles for this taste and always a must when coming back from a holiday . A take away to keep us going for days after is always a great idea. Thank you for your authentic food ..... For taste I give it 5 stars for the decor 3 stars , it matters not as we always do a take away and sit by the river to enjoy every mouthful - yum

Went here earlier on today for lunch ordered a mixed roll as the other shahi naan on the bridge has shut down , was tearing to my naan and I found a hair embedded in it the exact same thing happened to my friend whoever made the dough did not take precautions to make sure that their hair did not fall in on this occasion it did and was served to us with our mix roll. We asked why this was and the workers denied it then said sorry we can't do Nothing so we walked out This is a cheap alternative to the original shahi naan on the green cheaper price means less taste cheap meat and of course incidents like I experienced, don't go here it's unclean tastes bland and leaves a funny taste terrible

Been going since I was a toddler the most amazing food you could eat , the chutney is amazing and spicy, loved the kebabs and tikka couldn't fault it.

so dissopointed went for the late night movie, the plan was on the way back will take a kebab from here, since they are open till very late hours but they closed the shop without telling any one or any notice. I think they closed the shop forever.

Went on a Sunday night on a taxi drivers recommendation while my kids in the car..Chicken dinner was food land kabeb was not that great but the place is only good for a take away not where u can take someone or family with u. Any how we went to pick up a Doner again tonight and it was closed and even the taxi driver was surprised so don't know what happened there.... in nutshell take a take away only

Been coming for years what a gem. Rolly Poly is so addictive and chilli sauce is so nice it compliments the chilli sauce highly recommended.

Went here with a co-worker for lunch and wasn't sure what to expect from it. I was pleasantly surprised with the service and the food. We were in and done eating within 15 minutes. The staff are friendly and are always available to help.The food was very nice ...

I have been visiting this place since 1987, it is the best place for food. It can be spicy but it is always just right. If i am ever in London and i have time i will skip all other eateries and go to the Shahi Nan. Well Done guys its as good as the first time as you cannot perfect perfection!!

Been a regular here since I was very young and they never disappoint. Service is good and food is even better. Best things I would recommend are the chicken doner or the kebab rolls.

I have visited Southall many times, always hoping to eat good Indian food. Until I visited Shahi Nan Kebab, I have always been disappointed.This restaurant is extremely unpretentious and does not have particularly great decor. Yet, the mutton tikka rolls that we ate here were better than anything that whe have ever eaten in Southall before. Wrapped in a freshly baked naan and covered with a delicious garlic sauce, these kebab rolls hit the spot. And at £3.40 per roll, that's quite something.My wife was the only lady in what seemed to me somewhat of a male preserve, but a friendly one at that.

this shahi nan based on southall broadway is not the original one like the one on the southall bridge the green but is similar the taste is not as great but it does if you need a quick bite to eat!

If you want a consistently good kebab, this is the place. I have yet to taste a chicken doner that meets the standard and taste of shahi nan kebab's doner. If you are a first timer be sure to request their special garlic sauce because none of their doners or kebabs are complete without this! Every time I'm away from London I find myself missing the doners from here!

Does this place even need an introduction? Has gained legendary status with diners coming from far and wide. Have been eating here for over 10 years and they cook what are quite possibly the best kebabs I have tasted. Kebabs, chicken tikka and chicken doner (which is majority chicken Breast pieces) is cooked fresh and Naan is cooked in the tandoor (how it should be). To top it off their signature chilli sauce packs a nice punch if u can handle the hot stuff. Open until silly hours of the morning (4-5am) Definitely worth a visit, you will not regret it!

The best kebabs I have ever had. I would recommend the rollie pollie kebab. Naans are very light and fluffy. Good value for money

We have stopped of here many times for a kebab on our way from and to seeing clients. The kebabs are very fast and good size.

I went here for a quick bite to eat with some friends and I observed the lack of hygiene by one of the male staff who scratched his arm and continued to make the kebabs with same hands. I was glad that I had observed him do this and was standing outside the shop before he could say ''next.''

Been coming here for years and every time it gets better and better. Kebabs have a very authentic and unique taste. Not sure what secret ingredient is added but always fulfilling! Kebabs are always well cooked, sauces that accompany even better. We place a telephone order and although its a very busy small establishment, our order is always ready as soon as we ready to pick up. Definitely a guilty pleasure to have after a night out. Highly recommend.

When food taste good there is nothing more to say than just enjoy. A small take out with little on the menu which makes it amazing. Pure concentration on the few bits on the dish make he food taste perfect. Don't be put of with its small shop take look. This place is purely here to serve the need of taste.

This place has been serving kebabs for over twenty years. This place has its own unique high octane flavour that just cannot be found elsewhere. Hygiene is excellent despite first impressions, granted the meat may not be gourmet cuts but if you are looking for a guilty fix with punch through flavours then this is the only place to visit when in Southall.

This is my favourite all time place to eat. There many same named places and thats not because its copyright infringement, its because these places are franchised off within the original owners family. This on and another one Shahi nan on the hill are the best but I like this one better and its not cos just seating is better but the food is lovely. Also this was the original. What to order: Chicken doner on a paratha with 2 sheek kebabs on tops top off with salad, shahi nans famous chilli sauce and garlic sauce. and a coke. Thats it. Enjoy!!

Used to go to this place 20 years ago as it had the best reputation for tasty kebabs even though it was a tiny place and not decorated but it was always clean. Now I go now and again but I feel uncomfortable as the meat just does not give me confidence - bits of grizzle in the chicken and lamb shawarma and the kebabs just don't taste the same. I worry too about the hygiene.

If you go to the kebab place which is located opposite the train station. The food there is spot on! Try the Rolly Polly lamb Sheekh! For £2 it is the perfect amount of food and exceptionally nice! .. Try the new place in High Wycombe they have also opened, similar taste.

Very good quality food and value for money. I alwayz visit here at least once a month with my friends. Must visit this place if never tried. Staff also very friendly.

Everytime I come to Southall I come here... The food is great friendly staff... Just have to wait a bit for the food but it's worth it
