Terrible restaurant and service. Food is tasteless, waiters/owners look like a circus act. Would rather go to a grill house or pub

walked in with my family of four. Waitress was very rushed even though the restaurant was not busy. We ordered the food and the waitress again was pushy and rude. As we only ordered starters for now the waitress said “Is that all you’re eating”? My response was well I haven’t eaten here before so I would like to order starters before the main which she didn’t like as she smirked. When the 3 different starters came out they came out hot and fresh. The problem was it had a long hair in the food and when we made them aware they refused to believe it was theirs as it couldn’t be ours due to us having Hair not that length. We paid the bill and left. Absolutely horrendous service from start to finish.

Visited with friends who came to visit and was not impressed. The food was full of oil. It was more bangali then punjabi style. Not sure if lamb was even lamb. Will not visit again as first impressions last.

We went there several times and also got several takeaways. Its an amazing place, the best Indian in Ealing for sure. My absolute fav on the menue is Chilligobi (if you like spicy food).

Arguably my favorite restaurant in ealing, went back again after a good long while and it did not disappoint. Came with my girlfriend and her parents, were welcomed with warmth and had an absolutely incredible meal! Also had the chance to meet the owner and his wife and they were hospitable, friendly and lovely to chat to. Will definitely be back soon!

First experience and it was very bad.. food was cold and portions are too small for its price and in chicken and lamb dishes has hardly meat in it..

Brought the family here because it’s one of my boyfriend & I’s favorite places, safe to say the family loooooved it :D staff & owners are lovely and food is devine.

A little disappointed on my visit. Mixed veg curry, veg was tough and raw. Lamb curry was 70% sauce and 30% lamb. Cheese nan was dry and tough. They don't serve traditional tava chapatis! Portions have been reduced on certain dishes. I felt there has been a price increase on all items approx £2 each and felt that increase on the end bill plus paying a service charge on top. However the service was good. Would I be returning? There are other restaurants in the locality who serve equally good food without the inflated prices and service charges. However a good resturant if you don't mind the higher prices.

Decent Indian restaurant in Ealing Broadway area. Big dining area with good decor. Starter portions are small. Chilli chicken and Paneer tikka were well done. Main course portions are good for two. Tandoori roti was good. Garlic naan was too soft. Chicken tikka masala was ok with tomato gravy base. For being a specialty restaurant in the area, expect higher prices. Family of four with small appetite, we spent 40 GBP. Good service staff, so overall worth a visit once at least.

We ordered mix vegetable curry sadly the vegetables were from frozen packet.

Horrible Experience! Oily, over flavoured spices and definitely not fresh meat because i had an very upset stomach and the runs for a few days. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Would have given a 0 star if I was able to, absolutely shocked with the sanitation levels that don’t match brand “royale” at all. Furthermore, the food had a stale smell to it which will be reported to the environmental health officers and local health inspectors, would not even feed food like this to my pet let alone a human. Making a space look good is not enough to run a restaurant unfortunately. Get it together.

I recently dined at this Indian restaurant that served me genuinely authentic and delicious Indian food. What made it even more special was the humble owner, who also happened to be a talented chef, personally cooking each dish. The flavours were outstanding, and the genuine passion and dedication of the owner/chef shone through in every bite. I highly recommend this restaurant for an unforgettable culinary experience.

We have food outside mostly every after alternative day therefore have had an opportunity to go to many restaurants around London but never had this bad feelings after visiting this one. The waiter, the owner/chef himself is arrogant, do not posses minimum curtesy how to behave with their guest who fill up their bank account or cash till. They cut their customer’s pocket very cunningly. Over priced, no hospitality and ill manners such as worst form of arrogance. The price of water and Tanduri roti or Nan is just the reflection of how they carelessly is involved in this business. I am potentially thinking to make them accountable legally for failure to ensure customer service as mandated by the legal instrument soon.

Visited many times with friends and family. The food is decent but has its off days. Slightly over-priced, but the owner and his family are always around to ensure good service.

Having heard some hype about this place, a group of us decided to go along to celebrate a birthday. We were hugely disappointed by the service. The owner was particularly rude to one of our guests and the food was quite average! I would not recommend.

I went to this restaurant with my boyfriend to celebrate my birthday. Food was not great anyway. Ordered chicken which was very chewy and foul tasting so left it after one spoonful but boyfriend ended up crunching on raw chicken leg. We had bad food poisoning for two weeks. Complained to owner who was quite rude and arrogant. Told us that he wouldn’t loose his business if we don’t come in. This restaurant should be shut down by health and safety.

read great reviews about this place but was a little disappointed. I had ordered Garlic Naan and Lamb Rogan Josh for takeaway. The Rogan Josh was spicy which is good but it tasted too much tomato-ey. Also, the portion size is less compared to the price.

Recently had dinner at Rangrez (February 2023) and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I absolutely love the decor of the restaurant! We noticed that the chairs are extremely comfortable which is always a bonus when out dining. We were made to feel comfortable by the staff. The service was attentive and fast, my questions about the menu were courteously answered. The food was really delicious and tasted authentic. The pistachio kulfi is to die for. Overall slightly expensive and couldn't make this a regular place as far as I'm concerned however I will certainly go back and would not hesitate to recommend as the food really is very good.

I was served flat lemonade twice. When I complained, the waiter should have tried verifying this herself by pouring a sip from the machine. However, she was insistent that she served me the right it. I had to call another customer to taste the lemonade before she could listen. In the end, I was served the right drink. I did not get an apology for how she handled the situation and the long wait before my drink was eventually served. The whole thing left a sour taste to otherwise what would have been a nice evening.

Seemed short staffed, saw 5 customers leave because it seemed the waited too long for service. 2 female staff working there were trying to cope with a large group of customers. They were very good.

The food is towards the Indo-English side which means look wise it appears to be Indian Cuisine but taste wise it can only satisfy the English people. The staff is very proactive with their work and provides good suggestions of food but everything is on a lighter note for the Indian Taste buds. The ambiance is great and the background music is good to enjoy.

Visited there on Friday night, the ambiance was really good and on top of that the food was 10/10. However the lady server was clueless she has no idea or experience about the hospitality field but the male server was really humble and seems like he is pretty experienced. Overall would love to come again and will definitely recommend the place 😍

Not worth of money, Bad quality food.

We went to the restaurant on a Saturday night, wasn't busy there. We order a selection of food which wasn't too bad, but there was one common taste in all of the dishes, the flavour in question was FISH. Even though we had chicken, the flavour was so prominent that all of us couldn't get the taste out of our palette until the next morning, avoid if your not a fan of fish. portions were small and prices we're expensive for what you got.

Mmmm..its complete waste of time and money first...The food didn't taste good at all. I did raised a concern to the lady who served me, she went to owner and conveyed my message. However owner haven't come and asked me what's the issue!! To shop owner - first learn how to respect and treat your customer. They haven't served water even, i don't know what's Indian authentic they follow here!! The portions were quite small too. The attitude of the staff wasn't great either. Overall a below average place to dine out. I would surely not recommend anyone to visit and waste their time and money on this restaurant

This was our first visit, and unfortunately it will be our last based on the food and cost. We got a warm welcome when entering the restaurant which had a pleasant decor. We found the menu limited, and opted for Onion Bhaji and Singhs Tawa Lamb for starters, I did initially receive the Chicken Tawa by mistake which was exchanged. Both meals were OK, nothing out of this world. For mains we both chose the house special Rocket Chicken (this was supposed to be half a chicken, it was basically all bones and no breast) absolutely awful. The Pino Grigio at £26.99 was an absolute RIP OFF, and the cheapest there was. Due to the food and the cost of the drinks, I wasn't willing to pay the £11.00 service charge which didn't go down well

I had a meal here early one evening on my own. I had a strange first experience. After sitting down they gave me the menu and a multiply reused single A4 page of paper telling me that there was a minimal charge (around £15) and an obligatory 12.5% service charge. This made me wonder if this was a downmarket venue, but the decor suggested otherwise. I have never come across this before. It is very common to add a service charge to the bill these days but every other time I have seen it, it suggests it is optional. I have NEVER been to a restaurant where I did not leave a tip for service. Also why do they not laminate the page and insert it in the menu, rather than push it in your face as almost the first encounter with the restaurant? So after all this what about the food? The food was excellent, delicious, right amount, right price, came out quickly, the waiter was polite etc. No complaints about the food or service.

First time here and horrible service with arrogant unfriendly staff (specially long hair lady). Male waiter stomped cutlery on the table so hardly, and food was being served as if we were in a school dormitory being pushed quickly on the table. No smile or thanks for coming by staff while we left instead they were staring at us! Never coming here again big disappointment.

Amazing place for Indian food plus chef Harman and his wife were amazing hosts and offered their advise and made us very comfortable and homely. The food is amazing and you can select the level of hot you want while ordering. Ask for their specials.

Being a foodie and Punjabi at heart, my search for authentic and mouth-watering Punjabi food in London has come to an end with Rangrez. I tried pandit ka malai kofta, kadai panner, dal tadka, Lachha and Naan. Everything was really outstanding, but pandit ka malai kofta was my personal favourite. I have tried a lot of restaurants in central London before coming here to find the real taste of malai kofta but could not any. This is my go to place now for any Punjabi delicacy and I really loved the ambiance/vibe created for dinners in the restaurant.

Once again Rangeez made my evening memorable I came with my colleagues and everyone was so happy to enjoy Authentic Indian Punjabi food Dal makhani and butter chicken was as good as we get in Delhi Service and ambiance was spotless and personalised service by Chef Harman was great

Based off 3 visits and consistently disappointed. 1st time, called in advance and asked if they make Chole Bhature. They said that they do but when we got there they said that they dont have on the menu but will make specially for us. What we received was fried kulcha (as if an Indian wouldnt know the difference between kulcha and bhature). The owners are all talk and no delivery. Service is quite slow when it was just 3 people (only us) at the restaurant. 2nd time went with friends (6 people) and again the owners greeted kindly, with all talk - we will make anything for you, you guys are special guests (no specific reason but thats how they speak). Insisted that we order a few sample items...try this, specially made for you or try that, chef is trying a new recipe. But at the end charged us £10 per dish although price was never specified or even mentioned when they insisted that we try off-menu items. 3rd time, went with a bigger group. Everyone ordered whiskey double and 1 cocktail. Was served single shots everytime and they insisted it was correct order. The cocktail was a mocktail. Owners came and insisted that these are all double shots (would we ever do that to our special guests!!!!!) etc etc. Couple of other things I should specify: 1. Food is average - not the best or the worst. 2. 2nd time went as friends insisted. 3. 3rd time we went as there was nowhere else on that night that would accommodate a big group (12 people). 4. Service is VERY slow 5. Ambience and cleanliness is good.

Family run restaurant; Husband Wife and Daughter. Advertised as authentic food. Errrm, I don't think so. Expensive, tasteless/bland and very very small portions. The green chutney was the only thing that tasted good. Tired and disparate decor. Water marks around skylight and wallpaper peeling. Friendly service at beginning but when you raise an issue turns quite heated and defensive. Father/Chef is quite passionate about food and talks a lot - about himself -fishing for compliments. But lets be fair he cant cook. Wife gets angry and defensive. Keeps hoovering around glaring. If that wasn't bad, I was charged for service. I'm sorry but I can't recommend this place and I won't be coming back.

Fantastic biryani, made to taste as per our order for spicy food. Very good raitha, portions are good. Paneer tikka was also tasty, and the gulab jamun was so soft and not too sweet, will be coming back to this place again and again. Staff are very nice too with the owner having cooked our biryani herself!

Horrible uncooked food. Ordered the mixed grill and half of it was raw. On top of that the lady at the till tried to charge us double! But luckily I noticed and got her to change it. We also got charged £1 for small pots of chilli sauce! This place has so called 'awards' for being a great restaurant. But when I googled them I couldn't find any official website saying this place had won any award. They are just misleading customers to make them think they are a special restaurant, which they are certainly not!

Extremely rude staff and tasteless food. The quantity was little. Note for Owner - If you are not from the hospitality industry, then get some basic qualifications. This is a service industry. Very disappointing experience. Food- below average , Portions - very small but big on pockets. Staff - RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. Returned food item was charged and when requested to remove from the bill a big argument took place. The lady behind the bar and the young girl were very RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. Rangrez is quite elegant and a great place to visit with family and friends. It has a nice ambience and gives a cozy vibe with lively atmosphere. The food was extremely delicious. I would strongly suggest everyone to order Lamp chops, Dal makhani and Butter Chicken. The service was amazing too! I recommend everyone who are in London or who plan to visit London to pay them a visit and try out their lovely delicacies.

It is one of the best Indian restaurants in London. The staff here is very courteous and kind. The food is freshly prepared and delicious. Undoubtedly it is a must visit place of mouthwatering food.

We will also be complaining to The Retail Ombudsman and local council. Wish there was on option for a zero star. It was our parents Anniversary and they completely ruined it.
