The food was outstanding. We were currently eating all the British food and was bored of eating it and then our agent suggested it and we came and it was the best decision to do so. The food had perfect Pakistani/Indian taste and it was awesome.

Naan and paratha were both undercooked, first time experiencing this at any restaurant. Shocking!

Really enjoyed the briyani. Tried this place for the first time. Will definitely visit again. The staff was most welcoming and kind.

The Kabuli Pulao was perfectly cooked, and the grill was juicy and tasty. The service was excellent—the owner is very kind and respectful. He delivered the food himself, even late at night. I really enjoyed it with my friends. Big thanks and highly recommended!

Excellent quality of food items with a great authentic taste. We went there in a group of 6 and they have moderate seating arrangements. They have their food ready prepared and they serve the customer directly from there by just heating them. Food is displayed at the counter for selection. Great authentic taste and they person at the counter was really nice to absorb our requests and he made sure we went out satisfied. Garlic nan was really good. Price is competetive compared to quantity, quality and atmosphere.

Finally tried this place after driving past it a few times. We ordered the lamb nihari, haleem and tandoori rotis. Both the mains were very tasty but the Haleem was the winner. Spiced perfectly and went really well with the fresh tandoori rotis. The owner was a delight to speak to after the meal and recommended a few more things for us to try. Definitely going back again to try the karahi and pulao.

I have underestimated this small family run business from the outlook. Yes the venu is not very fancy and their TV was in their language but their service was excellent. The Food was very tasty. We ordered Lamb chursi karahi and chapli kebabs with afghani naan. They served us salad on the house and prepared fresh food. I have been to many posh Pakistani/indian/afghan restaurants and I can say with surety that their Lamb Charsi karahi is authentic with best taste in whole london. Their Afghani naan with butter, is the actual afghani naan which reminded me of my northern pakistan trip and was very delicious and mouthwatering. Definitely worth the visit and will definitely come again with friends.

Very little chicken in full of sweet onion curry . Not near to a Karahi flavor ,rice were small portion and very little chicken and spices . Not going to buy again from shah

Mardan chapli kebab OMG great taste like home country

We visited the restaurant as a family of 5 on a Wednesday afternoon. We were delighted with the taste of the dishes and the portions. The prices were affordable. We had the mutton rice, chicken tikka, garlic naan, chicken curry and mango juice and chicken tikka roll. Every dish was served hot and well cooked. It's a decent place , not luxurious though for a party or a treat. But if you are hungry and looking for an affordable place to eat tasty Pakistani dishes, go for it.

Imran Khan Bhai served the best food with the greatest warmth and hospitality. I am a huge fan of Nihari and I am going to try vegetable and lentil curry today

I went in around 1.30am and I am not lying the guy serving me was such a top fella! He was nice and prepared the food nicely. I actually felt like I was at home. I even told him I'm very hungry I just want to eat and he kinda felt the vibe of food I was going for. On a real I'll be back and I hope he sees this review!

Popped in her twice for a quick kebab wrap at lunch while doing a training course nearby. Food was really tasty and a big portion so great value for money.

The food was stone cold, despite being delivered on time. The breads weren't packaged correctly either, resulting in them being cold and like rubber. Very disappointed this time round as I order from here after work on occasion, when possible.

Serving 2 or 3 days old food to customers don’t use this place again anyone well get sick and when I call them they can’t even speak English

food was stone cold. not a biriani...just meat in tomato rice. no taste at all. fish was ok. bhajia was ok. kebab roll pastry was burnt and charred. No mint sauce just a drop of chilli sauce and huge chunks of tomato, onions and cucumber over 2 kebabs. meat samosa had more peas than meat. very disappointed considering how much I paid. will not order again from here.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but the food here is delicious. Tarka dhal, curries, freshly cooked nans, rotis and lots more including mouth watering shrikhand. Also, very friendly.

Visited today for dinner and it was very tasty and had exceptional service.

Food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a mixed grill, which came out sizzling, Lamb karahi, chicken curry, prawn jalfrezi and naan. Everything was amazing! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We were a large group with children.

The value for portion size is really good here and I’ll definitely be going back when I want a quick but flavoursome meal. I got a spinach (saag) dish and prawn bhuna for my main, which went down a treat and was extremely filling. For dessert, I then tried out my first ever kulfi, which was a very smooth and thick creamy dish covered in almond. The dessert was very sweet and I’d recommend to anyone that hasn’t tried before. The man serving was happy and open to conversation and making recommendations whilst waiting for the food.

After excellent Google reviews, I ordered Chicken Biryani and lamb Kabab. My colleague and I love the Chicken Biryani and Kabab. The food was fresh and delicious, with really authentic tastes and flavours. The delivery was outstanding and on time; however, the packing needs to be improved, as there is oil leaking out from the plastic bags.

One of the best Halal restaurants in croydon. Must try Nihari and Haleem those are specialty. Also, there sevices are really great in terms of serving food and understand customers feedbacks. Thank you Shah karahi

I happened to be in Croydon area & ended up going to Shah Karahi for lunch. I had lamb biryani & it was absolutely delicious & authentic,kheer was topped up with nuts & was fresh. Everytime I go the taste of pakistani cuisine is retained well which is fantastic. I also ordered Nihari & Lamb Karahi for take away & it was well packaged. I visited London from Germany, and London being known as containing a Mini Pakistani hubs, I found Shah Karahi near a vicinity of my hotel. I tried out a Breakfast (Nashta), with Channa and Masala. It reminded me of a taste of Channa Dish from Kund (near Attock), where River Indus and River Kabul meets. Its a recommended dish.

I used to live in croydon some time ago and i went to shah karahi once and got addicted to their food Unfortunately, i had to shift to Gillingham for some personal reason but time to time i still travel from gillingham to east croydon (2:30 hours travel time) just for authenticity and taste of the food. Especially their nihari is to die for The staff is so welcoming and well mannerred.

We placed an order of 50 chicken biryani and 50 lamb Haleem for our melaaad gathering OMG the tast was fantastic they deliver at time thay were very polite when i entered to the shop they were very polite and looks professional many thanks Highly recommend will definitely try again and again Inshaaa Allah
