WOW! I ordered food for 60 people at my family event & I can honestly say It was the best choice I made. From the hospitality to catering for my exact needs & going above and beyond to make sure everything was catered for. Starters, main courses & the desserts were very praised by all the guests & boy was the food delicious!!!! The brothers running the business & chefs are doing an amazing job. Amjad bhai thank you again & I will see you soon for some more delicious food!

After excellent Google reviews, I ordered Chicken Biryani and lamb Kabab. My colleague and I love the Chicken Biryani and Kabab. The food was fresh and delicious, with really authentic tastes and flavours. The delivery was outstanding and on time; however, the packing needs to be improved, as there is oil leaking out from the plastic bags.

I happened to be in Croydon area & ended up going to Shah Karahi for lunch. I had lamb biryani & it was absolutely delicious & authentic,kheer was topped up with nuts & was fresh. Everytime I go the taste of pakistani cuisine is retained well which is fantastic. I also ordered Nihari & Lamb Karahi for take away & it was well packaged. Overall I really enjoyed the food 👌🏻 Thanks for an amazing service.

I visited London from Germany, and London being known as containing a Mini Pakistani hubs, I found Shah Karahi near a vicinity of my hotel. I tried out a Breakfast (Nashta), with Channa and Masala. It reminded me of a taste of Channa Dish from Kund (near Attock), where River Indus and River Kabul meets. Its a recommended dish.

I used to live in croydon some time ago and i went to shah karahi once and got addicted to their food Unfortunately, i had to shift to Gillingham for some personal reason but time to time i still travel from gillingham to east croydon (2:30 hours travel time) just for authenticity and taste of the food. Especially their nihari is to die for The staff is so welcoming and well mannerred.

We placed an order of 50 chicken biryani and 50 lamb Haleem for our melaaad gathering OMG the tast was fantastic they deliver at time thay were very polite when i entered to the shop they were very polite and looks professional many thanks Highly recommend will definitely try again and again Inshaaa Allah

Such a waste of money. Staff don’t know how to speak English and serve food. Order 15 people brayani for takeaway for party and it was such a shame when we served. All off and smelly. Don’t go to this restaurant…. Dirty inside in kitchen

I ordered food at 12pm - they told me that it will be half an hour however when I got there at 12.45 pm my food wasn’t ready. I then had to wait another 40 minutes. When my food did come out he started severing people. Customer service was atrocious. Never again

What an incredible Owner - Mr Shah. Very polite on the phone ,hospitality top notch. Food - fresh and tasty , Price so much reasonable compared to London prices. I own an Indian Restaurant in Portugal by the name The Saffron Mantra in Loule Town Algarve and I know how the tastes should be and if the food is freshly made or not. I would highly highly recommend this place to dine or take away ir delivery. Call them and take the advice on what to order ,you will not be disappointed on the suggestions.

My partner went here to try a vegetarian biriyani (takeaway), and was asked at the counter if he wanted it heated. He expected fresh food, but none the less said he'd like it heated. Got given a lukewarm meal and ended up with food poisoning. Food safety is bad here!!!

I go shah karahi every day I like Tarka daal saaag spinach And I think they sell best and large onion baji in London the prices are very reasonable I noticed they cook everyday fresh food highly recommended to all pashtoon

The food was simply outstanding! I ordered the Lamb Nihari, Chicken Jalfrezi, Haleem, along with Roti and Rice. Every dish was cooked to perfection, bursting with authentic flavors that made each bite a delight. The Lamb Nihari was rich and tender, the Chicken Jalfrezi had just the right balance of spice, and the Haleem was wonderfully hearty. The portions were generous, making it excellent value for money. Me and my friends cleaned the plates till our last bites. Overall, Shah Karahi is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious food and warm hospitality. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning soon!

We entered the restaurant without thinking, and the clerk arranged everything according to our preferences. Eat your fill Very delicious food, the lamb shank was marinated and stewed so nice, very tender & nice go with naan! The manager was very helpful and understanding and refunded me promptly. Also my understanding was that the sea bass was grilled but they also fry the fish so if you want to have the fish grill to you have to mention it.

Just ordered Nihari via Ubereats. Food came super cold. And the texture was off. Anyway, we heated it and it’s very disappointing that even the taste was stale. We used to order Nihari from this place alot but now no more!!!

Order placed, advised 40 minutes maximum for delivery. 1 hour later hadn’t arrived. Phoned, assured 2 or 3 min, 15 minutes later still not arrived. Order cancelled. I can’t comment on the food as never tasted it.

Food used to be really good. In the past 2 months or so, the quality and taste has really degraded. Our staple order tastes entirely different (not for the better). We also got some biryani and they took out some pieces of chicken from the curry and threw it on the rice. Extremely disappointing.

I explored this place in this week when I was searching for Pakistani food. This place serves Pakistani food in afghan style 👌. I ordered my lunch and that was so amazing. The presentation for naan was so classic. Specially there naan was just like butter, I ordered some roti but I don't recommend that. Lamb karahi is delicious when it's cooked fresh. The restaurant is at the corner, you can grab a nice view for eat there. When I visited it was quit. Overall food was nice, staff is very helpful when selecting your order. There is little bit space for improvement in there menu.

Take away chicken biryani was last portion, with very little chicken, even topped up had just 3 pieces! Metal takeaway container was heated in the microwave, and given back twice, before being decanted onto a plate and being heated properly. If I have to discuss with you that a rice dish is completely cold at the bottom, then partially cold on the second try and ok on the third, that what you're doing is dangerous, and to hear that this is your normal practise, something is very wrong! 💀

A decent place to enjoy rare food from other Countries.

Shah Karahi deserves a 5-star review! They catered for my guests last night, and the experience was fantastic. We placed an order at 2 PM for a 7 PM delivery, including Acharia Gosht, Chicken Karahi, mixed grills, and more for 20 people. The food was fresh and amazing, and the compliments from our guests were phenomenal. We'll definitely recommend them!

The guys in the shop can be VERY DISHONEST. A piece of advice: When you buy any food, check the price on the menu and what they ACTUALLY charge. I bought chicken biryani a couple of days ago. The display note showed 'Large Chicken Biryani £3.99' but the man charged me £4.99. I brought the discrepancy to his attention. He gave me some lame reason to defend himself. I told him that he could get into serious trouble if he ran the business in a misleading way. Today, I bought chicken vindaloo. The price on the menu was £6.99 but the fellow charged me £7.49. Luckily, I checked how much I was charged. It was a different guy today but he, too, gave me a vague justification saying it was a mistake. Just be VERY VERY VERY CAREFUL: These guys can be dishonest.

I have ordered so many times from this restaurant past midnight and they were still able to deliver the food. That late, around 2 am, others are probably sleeping and they're serving well enough. Sometimes it's considerably late but their food is always good with very reasonable prices.

My wife and I came from Canada but originally from Malaysia for a short holiday. We pass by this restaurant everyday and found the food very good, tasty and authentic Pakistani/Indian food. Price is very reasonable. Because the food was so good, we came back everyday for our meals for the 8 days of our holiday. The boss (Mr Shah) and workers are very friendly. We strongly recommend this restaurant!

6 miles drive only to try Real Tase of Haleem of Karachi. Since I am fond of typical pakistani foods, I’d give 10/10 for Haleem I had last time. Special Naan was a top up. Gajar Halva wqs grrat however Kheer was not at the best standard due to slight burnt. I’d recommend any late hours food lovers. super Lahori Nihari also available. I’d recommend their great service too. Salute

My go-to place since it's the nearest to where I stay. I generally order my comfort food from them since I visit them pretty regularly, at least twice or thrice a week. I really like their Saag Alu, Saag Paneer, or Plain Saag, Dal Tadka, Chole/Chana, Okra, Mix Veg, Veg Biryani, Pulao Rice, Malai Rabri Kheer, and more. The owner is wonderfully warm, caring, and always delightful to talk to. Their quality is consistently excellent. The best aspect is that they are open until 2 am, which gives me the flexibility to enjoy meals even late after I am done with work. I highly recommend visiting to enjoy their wide selection of dishes from the Indian, Pakistani, and Afghani cuisines.

First time ordering from here and very disappointed. Food was not hot, the samosas were dripping in oil, and the naan was cold and bland. The biriyani and seekh kebabs were ok but nothing special. Quality of food is not great so I will not be ordering again

Went there late night. Astonished to see, It was open. Ordered Sea Bass and Chicken Karahi. Would recommend Karahi. Sea Bass isn’t recommended. Also visited again with family during Ramadan. They gave stale samosas. Also ordered Chicken Karahi which was 3/10 this time. Very disappointed. Won’t go again there.
