Shaad Shomoy in Birmingham

Absolutely fabulous staff, nothing is too much trouble. Even offered to go to the shop for us to get drinks. We were presented with a lovely cake at the end for our party to share. Each of us received a hug on entering as though we were old friends - fantastic. The food is very good and very reasonable.

We recently held our sons 21st birthday party here. Everything fabulous, food,service . Could not have done enough for us. So very recommended

Went last night with my mom for a meal, absolutely fantastic would highly recommend! Great staff very friendly and attentive, food was amazing! With there being a few Indian restaurants in Rubery it had competition but honestly it blows the others out of the water, everything we ordered was miles better that the others. We were quickly offered poppadoms and accompanying dips upon arrival then we ordered onion bhaji and chicken pakora starters, mains were buttered chicken, chicken nawabi with sides of peshwari naan, pilau rice, chips. Bill was less that £40 which is a brilliant price for a sit down meal for two in my opinion!

Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The food was freshly made and very tasty! I would have posted the meal but we just didn't bother because it was just too delicious to wait for pics lol

Food and service excellent. You gotta try the chicken 45 starter... It's bangin! Pricing is reasonable too. Best I've had for a while.

Great atmosphere - calm and family friendly! Food was delicious! The staff were very hospitable they ensured we had everything we needed also got some complements banana fritters ! Cant complain

Came across shaad shomoy on a meal out with the family. The service was excellent very friendly staff, they were happy to accommodate to us. The food was delicious, we ordered a range of food and they all tasted lovely. They have family room in the back so we and my family were able to have an area to our selves and enjoy ourselves.

I went to Shaad Shomoy for a family dinner and I loved the experience! We tried a variety of dishes from starters to mains and it all tasted so authentic and amazing. The service was also 10/10; you can tell the owners and staff really care about their customers and go above and beyond to make your dining experience enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

I absolutely loved this place, their customer service was second to none. For someone who would call themselves an expert in Asian cuisine. The food was exquisite - in particular the Chicken Tikka pathia. Will definitely be going again.

I came here with a family group of 8 and every one of us really enjoyed the food, which was excellent. The staff were really friendly, which makes such a difference and being able to take your own drinks is a bonus. Great value for money, would definitely go again.

Came across this little gem, what amazing place have had take aways and dined in. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Not licensed can take your own drinks and if you run out they are willing to go the shop few doors up for you. Great choice on menu the flavours are amazing, lamb is so tender. About time there was a decent Indian restaurant on rubery high street. Would definitely recommend this place!

Been here a few times now and always had a warm friendly welcome, excellent food. Curries are very tasty as are the breads & rices etc.
