Great pub, play awesome music too.

Great bar been going for 30 years but last night terrible bar service wanting to use cash but some young youth behind bar saying no change without eaven looking learn some manners cash still exist you no,not impressed.

Always visit here when I’m in derby working. Live music on a Saturday evening they might do other nights too.

Last pint on a Saturday evening, good atmosphere, very busy popular pub.

Relatively small bar in the town centre. Has a neat range of beer and ales. Staff is very welcoming and happy to serve you. Plenty of seating outside and they have live music on Fridays and Saturdays which is always a good vibe. Ideal for pre drinks as it’s located closer to other pubs and clubs.

Great atmosphere in the courtyard 80s Fridays.

I called in last night, and izzi is worth her weight in gold, such a great bar person, and lovely to speak to. Definitely recommend. Pete

Always a good bar to visit when off the bus. Was busy on Fri evening and patio heaters kept the chill off. Never as busy as "back in the day" but always worth a visit.

Fantastic little pub, not far from Waterloo Road (NOT the TV series!) Great selection, reasonable prices, even a pool table. Family friendly, too. Kids allowed until 9.30pm!

Always loved this place, the music is right up my street.

Typically struggle with piles and sitting outside in this cold weather but the heaters outside are like a warm Summer’s embrace.

From what I remember great place , staff really polite and friendly , and from my bank statement the prices are pretty decent too 🙂

Only my second time at this venue, staff polite. Customers have a diverse age range, plenty of male eye candy similar age to myself. Definitely will return again.

It's one of the nicest bars in the centre of Derby BUT they didn't allow me to sit even outside because I had my 4-month baby in the carrier. Great disappointment.

Not as good in the daytime as at night. Barstaff helpful and friendly. Would recommend

Went on a Friday. Live music came on at 10pm. Good selection of beers. Really enjoyed myself

Definitely the best pub I've been to in Derby

One of the best pubs with an open garden ideal for all seasons. They have gas heaters in the garden for that extra warmth on a cold day.The music is fantastic too you can tell the singer to play your favourite songs ! The pints are just wonderful.Its a great experience at Seymours !

When we went, the bar had very very limited stock. The barman was lovely though :)

Really enjoyed visiting here drinks are great and the barman and customers were great and made me and my sister in law laugh so much which was greatly appreciated.

Place was filthy and the toilets were disgusting. Never again.

Toilets a side this place is class. All you want is decent beer options with good music and that seems to always happen on every visit, hands down my favourite pub in Derby, seems to have a bit of character to it

We had a great time drinking, chatting and listening to live music. My only negative was the state of the mens toilet which was in my opinion a 1 start. No hot water, no soap and o hand dryer. Not so great and a reason why Covid 19 spreads like it does hence the 1 star.

Sorry this place is not great the loos downstairs are rubbish and when I washed my hands the water was stagnant.

Manager is rude and charged us more than what we ordered and said he didn’t understand what we was saying

Very friendly, relaxed place. Covered seating outside. Clean toilets. Very reasonable prices. Massive contrast from a chain pub these days. You actually felt welcome. Can't beat it. 👌

Bouncer very obnoxious and more interested in the young glamorous girls rather than keeping an eye on the customers until he felt he needed to prove himself

Great bar been coming here since I was 18 fantastic music but the toilets is a mess the gents toilets is as disgrace there is no flushing urinals and the is no place to dry your hands which is archaic heaven now what the women’s toilets are like how can a bar in this day and age can continue like this is unbelievable.

It's OK. Usually quite busy and has a decent outdoor area but it's a bit dingy and needs a lick of paint. Beer selection is hit and miss so we sometimes walk in then out again.

Wasn't the best experience unfortunately they had run out of vodka and the toilets are up stairs and the stairs are rather narrow my friend struggled to go up with her walking stick and one of the toilets had no toilet roll.

Decent atmosphere, great if you like the Brit pop era as they play lots of alternative music from that time and beyond. Decent beers/ales on offer. Gets crowded but adds to the feel of the place.
