Sesamo in City of London, Westminster

Una mia amica ed io eravamo entrate con la falsa speranza (alimentata dal cartello esposto fuori dal locale) di poter finalmente gustare una deliziosa english breakfast salata. Ma appena entrate la commessa in modo pigro ci ha detto che non ce l'avrebbe servita. Ebbene, la nostra intenzione era quella di andarcene. Sfortunatamente eravamo mokto affamate così siamo rimaste. Nonostante il brutto inizio ho potuto gustare il miglior cappuccino e un delizioso croissant alle mandorle che a volte sogno ancora adesso. Nel complesso valuto positivamente il locale ma solamente per il croissant, di sicuro non per la gentilezza.

Nos se detuvo aquí porque nos vimos la comida de fuera y que parecía increíble, y era. Tuvimos algunos tratamientos corporales que están muy bien presentada y sabor muy bueno. El lugar es pequeño, pero el camarero hizo todo lo posible para conseguir que un pequeño espacio que apreciamos mucho. Personal muy amable, y hacer todo lo necesario para que usted tenga una estancia encantadora. Gracias a su almuerzo de San Valentín inolvidable.

Nos pareció que encontrar una cafetería organizada de manera privada nos daría con buena comida simples. Qué equivocados que estábamos. El pollo Tikka envoltura estaba demasiado cocinado en el exterior y empapadas en el medio. La salsa Tikka era fina y no tuve absolutamente sabor, y la ensalada fue suprimida en un vestidor fatal-degustación. Visto el precio en la junta detrás del mostrador me sorprendió encontrar que cuesta varias libras más en el menú. Pensando en esto sería una "comer" le pedimos.La camarera esperanzados, lejos de ser encantador era francamente irritante, que empeoró cuando descubrimos otro extra "cargos de servicio" se habían añadido a la ley, francamente, prefiero sirve yo. Aparentemente este costo es mencionado en el menú, pero ninguno de nosotros vimos).Con pobre, comida cara que insulta al país del que se suponía que se originan, no puedo pensar en una razón para comer aquí.

So much choice didn't know what to have so I tried the Spinach calzone. It was amazing - best I've ever had. Excellent value for money too. Definitely go back again.

Llegamos en Londres el día de Navidad 2014. No había ningún tren o metro metro desde Heathrow. Cogimos el autobús y luego un taxi que tenía un 4 £ recargo para Navidad. Bien llegamos a la ciudad, pero la mayoría de los restaurantes estaban cerrados. Encontramos este pequeño restaurante en el Strand y la comida estaba bien porque nos quedamos con hambre. Mientras que estábamos esperando que vimos un cartel que decía que el "día especial" significa que un 50% de propina sería a la factura. ¡Vaya estafa! Y la comida no era de muy buena calidad. La gente haciendo "llevar" se tropiezan con usted sábado cerca de la pared. Así que, por CAN$63,80 nos dieron dos tratamientos corporales y pop. Lo mejor que puedo decir es que estaban bastante amable.

Hola a todos,Para muestra una foto! Adjuntare el ticket de consumición. Teniendo en cuenta que los precios son muy altos, esta gentuza se digno a cobrarnos el 50% de incremento sobre el precio total de la consumición por la fecha festiva de Navidad. Un abuso! En la puerta no lo indicaba, en la carta no lo indicaba, solo te lo muestran a la hora de pagar ya que pusieron una fotocopia pegada en la zona de la caja registradora. Un abuso! Consulte a posteriori en las policía y me dijeron que tenía que ser un 10% maximo. Lo que pasa que ya habíamos pagado. El precio por de 34,30 libras al cambio 44€, mi pareja mi hijo y yo. Detalle: 2 cruasanes , 2 cafés con leche, un zumo de naranja natural, 1 plato que lleva ensalada y una tortilla francesa. Cuando vengan estos a España a cobrarles igual! Así hacen pasta, esta claro! Estafadores!

Stopped for a quick lunch and had the chicken shawarma wrap. It was delicious and served with a very tasty salad. Would highly recommend to anyone. They have a large selection which I'm sure are just as delicious.

Been here today with my wife. It is a small place but very warm and friendly. The food was delicious & plenty and we did not wait long for it. Although it was very cold outside and the door was opened, it was warm inside.Recomend it!

Small, friendly and great food, sensibly priced - loved it. Very close to Adelphi theatre, will return after the show.

Went to watch Made in Dagenham and decided to grab a bite to eat before heading home. We were walking past and the restaurant looked inviting so we decided to give it a try. Glad we did as the staff were really friendly and the food was lovely. I would come here again next time we go to the theatre.

I went to Sesamo before a theatre performance last week and I very much enjoyed my falafel wrap. The food was very tasty and I was given a very good portion together with a nice salad. There was quite a variety of savoury and sweet dishes and I would definitely go back there again on another occasion. The staff was nice and friendly.

A great find. Was just walking past and food looked good. It did not disappoint. Staff very nice also. Lebanese lamb wrap. A+

If you want a fantastic explosion of taste sensations then look no further. I don't usually review a lunchtime venue, but I'm making an exception here. A warm welcome and a wide choice of eye-catching nosh. My first time, so I went for a mixed shawarma. At £4.95, there's enough to feed two.

During our weekend in London me and my partner have eaten here twice in the last two days! On first glance some people wouldn't even notice this little restaurant.. But if you've overlooked it you've been missing out! We both opted for a fresh fruit smoothie each along with a Lebanese wrap each. The smoothies were delicious and made completely fresh! Just what you need when walking around the busy city!The food... Absolutely amazing. I have never tasted something so full of flavour! Packed with salad, tasty dressing.. I opted for the falafel and houmous but with extra halloumi.. Perfect!My partner had the same but the spicy chicken option. He said it was the best meal he had ever tasted! And I have to agree!Authentic food with friendly staff and right on a busy street of London! Give it a try, you'll be glad you did! If we lived here we would never leave!!

I went for lunch with a colleague in this little restaurant and I found it absolutely amazing. The food in display looks fresh and is very tempting... I wish I could try everything but I had to opt for a mixed platter. It was so tasty! The service was good as well and the music made the atmosphere relaxing and very enjoyable.I will give you a suggestion though: try to sit at the back of the restaurant or outside because if you take one of the tables opposite the counter you will be squeezed when other customers pay or pass by.

i tried the chicken shawarma it was the best wrap i ever tasted the staff was really good and the price as well then i tried the lamb shawarma even better i really recommend you to go try one of these wraps and the adelphi theatre is just next to the shop

Really we'll made fajitas , big servings and fair price, will definitely come back next time I'm London :-)

Myself and my daughter were in the vicinity looking to eat pre theatre and the window caught our eye as although the place was very small from the front and resembled cafe rather than restaurant, the food on display looked lovely. Pizza and pasta dishes, lebanese wraps.fish and chips. The pleasant waitress said hello and we decided to browse the menu. A few tables inside, a little rustic, and seating for a few outside. Didnt seem too busy and we really needed to sit and eat and finish within an hour so we ordered from the menu. Both had pasta lasagne, my own was chicken al forno and asked for a small salad and garlic bread. It was obvious while we waited that they did a good takeaway service which was a very good price around £6 for large pasta takeaway and less for handpulled individual pizza. Our order was with us within 10 minutes and was very hot and accompanied by a more than adequate bowl pf mixed salad with olives and dressing and 6 small slices of garlic bread for us to share. With drinks bill was £24 which we would have paid just for the pasta anywhere else. Value for money and friendly staff. Importantly right next to Adelphi Theatre which we were able to walk into within 10 seconds of leaving Sesamo. One thing, no toilet facilities. Although the waitress was adamant that she would arrange for us to freshen up next door at garfunkels but as we had plenty of time we used facilities at the theatre.

So we had just arrived in London. Checked in to our hotel and talk a walk down the strand. Feeling a little peckish we had the choice of all the usual high street brands. Then there was this place, no massive signs outside, just a quirky little "cafe" amongst a row of shops. We went in on a whim.Oh my days, it was awesome!! The lady behind the counter was very pleasant and was very helpful. We had a chicken tikka pizza, and a steak and chicken "wrap"? I can't remember the exact name. It was THE best wrap I have ever tasted. The filling was immense and was easily big enough for a lunch for two. The pizza was the same, lots of filling and it was all SO fresh. The side salad that came with both meals was awesome too, and I never say that about salads. I can honestly say I would go back there and have it all over again. We got there just before lunchtime and we are glad we did. It started to fill up as we got served. It's not a huge place, in fact it's quite small. It's very traditional to the style of food inside though.It's funny how you find these little gems when you don't really look for it. I hope this cafe has much success as it deserves it. Absolutely delicious

Caught a quick bite with my wife after a show, and we were pleasantly surprised. We sat outside, as the inside is very small. The Lebanese wraps were delicious - I had the Chicken Tikka wrap. And the homemade baklava was delicious as well.

Delicious Lebanese food, big menu, perfect for a quick lunch with friends or business colleagues. Something different!

I've eaten hear 5 or 6 times now. Nice people and the food is great. They have a great selection of wraps and their pastry's are also excellent.

What a great place. We wanted something to eat all restaurants were shutting. Great freshly made food with fresh ingredients and very hospitable staff.

Everytime I'm in the area I always go here. Best food and great quirky eaterie. The food is delicious. The staff are friendly.

We passed Sesamo on our way back to our car after a day in London. We thought the food displayed looked Fab - so we ordered a couple of falafel and hummous wraps to take away and eat when we got home to Kent.An hour later, we were not disappointed. They were still warm; packed with flavour - very, very tasty.We will definitely be returning next time we are in London - nice friendly staff too!

Wonderful Food, very pleasant costumer services and amazing location near Charing Cross Station. Had the chance to eat a Shawarma Wrap last Friday. The wrap was amazingly prepared with fresh meat and vegetables. The Tahini sauce tasted amazing and adds a wonderful touch in the sandwich. I loved the way they do their coffee, it tasted very pleasant and had extraordinary flavour. I would encourage everyone to visit there.

Have been eating the food here for some time and I love it. The staff are great and the food on offer is exceptional. I just cant get enough of their chicken wraps, and their well priced too! I try something different each time and have not eaten it all as of yet so I will be going back again and again. If your hungry and near this place then check it out.

Was strolling along to the station with hungry kids. Popped in here because my 8 yr old wanted chicken pasta. Amazing food salad fantastic! Staff very friendly and chased after us with my daughters precious dolls which she had left behind. I would definitely go back.

Wandering along after seeing Lion King, we felt a bit hungry for something tasty. As we wandered along the Strand from Bow Street, we glanced into a small little shop/cafe/deli and were immediately taken with the array of foods on offer. Huge variety of wraps, baked pasta style dishes (Not pasta as in Italian but something else), salads to make our mouths water. We chose a wrap and small salad. These are BIG wraps and toasted not soft. Plus a Feta Cheese Salad that could have been a meal in itself. The salad was the small version by the way and it was HUGE! The variety of foods was astounding actually. Run by a nice young couple it seems. This is a very seriously good place to stop off for a an after theater snack or dinner. The seating is limited, inside and two small tables outside. It is Halal according to the front of the menu, not sure what that actually means but might be important for some. This is a jewel among little shops.
