Staff are so friendly. We had Chicken Wraps for lunch. Absolutely delicious. We sat outside in the sunshine. Everything is spotlessly clean. Will definitely go back.

Went with 3 female friends for lunch. What a great find. The quality and presentation of the food was excellent. I had a big slice of Quiche, a tasty salad with delicious homemade Coleslaw for £6.95 and a big cup of Tea for £2.30. Perfect. The cafe was spotlessly clean and the guys were really friendly and attentive. Thank you. Plenty of free parking too. I will be back very soon.

My first time here a friend had told me about this place so we decided to try it two of us had jacket potatoes and my other friend had a egg salad sandwich the food was very good the men serving were very pleasant and I would also like to mention the place was very clean as we're the toilets I would highly recommend this place I will certainly be going back

We had been driving for hours and stopped in here for a break. Even just driving in, it was inviting as it was so clean, and having all the plants around made it colorful. The food was very good and so was the service. This is such a fantastic concept. Thank you guys you are doing a great job. The outside garden plants looked fab. We are from New Zealand so couldn't buy any. Keep up the the good work Linda & Jenny

Visited today with my sister for the first time at the recommendation of friends. Inside was spotless everywhere, as was the toilet. Staff were friendly + courteous & the lemon drizzle cake was the best we have ever had! We visited the small gift shop before leaving & I bought a tray of 15 bedding plants. We will certainly be back again & recommend Serving Thyme to family & friends. A big thank you to you all.

Great little place to stop for tea, coffee and cake. Lovely service and super clean cafe. Always stop here when out cycling in the area.

What a great place for brunch. Service was 100% with attentive staff…….. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is passing by. Let’s give some support to these guys ! Sausage and egg sandwich was to die for ! I will drop in next time I pass by ………..

Popped in here with a group of Harley riders for some lunch. Decent sized car park, clean and tidy, friendly welcome from all the staff, food was good, decent prices will happily return again.

Went yesterday with a friend for lunch who I’d gone to visit for the day . She’s been going there for years since it opened . What an amazing place . So clean , lovely atmosphere. Coffee brilliant . Tuna Jackets presentation so lovely . Thankyou guys .so nice to see rel teamwork .

Stopped in with the grandchildren for a snack. Brilliant service and was not charged as much for a sausage roll as we asked for no salad on one of them. Really reasonably priced and really tasty. We were lucky to get a seat as it was so busy. Kids loved it.

My first time at this cafe and I was really impressed. I had jacket potato with cheese and beans and my friend had a Cornish pasty which contained onion bhaji filling, (sounds a bit strange but it worked). Both came with a small salad and coleslaw. The staff were very helpful and I have to say when we first got there at 12.30pm the place was nearly full. Nothing too over the top with the decor but I liked it and would definitely go back. We didn’t have any but the cakes looked lovely. Down to earth, lovely food and the staff couldn’t do enough for you.

I have been meaning to visit here for a while. Well, today I did. It....did......not....Disappoint. Spotlessly clean. Delicious food. And guys, you all did an excellent job in cooking and the service. It was busy when we went and I believe they will get busier as the cafe gets more and more successful. Well done, everyone. This is a lively little restaurant. We had been told about it by so many people and eventually managed to find time to visit. The restaurant was spotless, the food was lovely, and the staff were all very welcoming and pleasant. The food and drinks are more reasonably priced than regular establishments so it is more affordable. The cafe is attached to Ford prison and is run by prisoners. The service was batter than that we have had in many cafes and restaurants, and we were really impressed - and we will definitely be back.

Very impressed! Everywhere spotlessly clean, really friendly staff. We just opted for coffee and cake - banana and walnut bread and apple cake - tasty and not dry at all. Prices are excellent. I’ll definitely return and have a bacon sandwich next time. Their gift shop is lovely too with lots of festive items.

First visit for both myself and my friend. Wet and windy day so it was very nice walking into a cosy cafe. Smells of cooked food lingered throughout. Good choice of food on the menu. We both opted for the cream tea and it didn't disappoint! Two warm and fluffy scones with butter, clotted cream and strawberry jam. We were offered a choice of tea or filtered coffee. The Costa coffee was delish! We didn't have to wait long at all for our food to be served to our table. The café is presented lovely, with adequate spacing between each table and chair setting. There are toilet facilities but we didn't need to use them. There is ample free parking. A lovely venue and I will return.

We arrived as a group of 10 for a snack lunch. The cafe was clean and smart and the service was very good. I had a spicy bean sausage roll which came with coleslaw and salad, and a latte. The food was good and the Costa coffee was lovely . All prices were very reasonable. Outside there were tables and plants for sale. I highly recommend this little cafe .

Lovely cakes and coffee it was my daughters birthday and we took a couple of candles and asked a staff member to put them in her cake when they brought the cakes over all the staff came over and sang happy birthday it made her day thanks all the staff

We stopped by for a snack but they only serve meals until 3 pm. So instead we had a drink and a slice of cheesecake each. Very clean restaurant and pleasant staff on hand. Costa coffee is served and the cheesecakes were also nice. Dogs have to stay outside but not a problem on a nice day and tables have shading. Price wise good value for money indeed We will pop back and have a proper lunch on another day.

Lovely place for a coffee with the family, coffee and tea was lovely and hot the staff were all very polite and friendly we didn’t have chance to get anything to eat but we will definitely being going back for lunch as the food did look amazing

Definitely use again. I hope the prisoners who work here are told about the great reviews as they are doing a great job. I got a BLT and BBC baguette. Both really tasty, great value.
