Lovely setting and layout . Dropped in for late breakfast but zero healthy options so opted for a chai latte with a shot of coffee. Service was good and swift but what came out couldn’t be drunk it was awful. No one came to ask even after 20 mins despite a full mug on my table . To not ask how’s everything is just poor

Delicious home made food and excellent friendly service - we dropped in for lunch and a coffee/tea and made very welcome and were dog friendly downstairs which was perfect - would recommend for breakfast or lunch or just a coffee and cake.

I ordered a coffee and a cake and asked for the Wi-Fi password. The girl took my money and said she’d bring down the password. Twenty minutes later, I was sat there with no coffee, no cake and no Wi-Fi. Nobody was making coffee for anybody, though money was still being taken. There were three or four members of staff on in this small cafe. One was taking money, one appeared to be cleaning something, which is fair enough, one was chatting to a couple of female customers that she seemed to know. You could see the kitchen area and nobody was making coffee - or indeed anything else. In the end, I asked for my money back and left.

After reading the reviews I didn’t really know what to expect - and I was pleasantly surprised! First I was in the downstairs part waiting on a friend to arrive. She was delayed & as I waited the staff advised me I could get more brunchy food upstairs so I went up. Staff very friendly & food was excellent. I ordered the French toast with fruit - maybe a wee bit too much maple syrup. My friend ordered the breakfast brioche bap and really enjoyed it. Will definitely come back and try more the next time I am in Omagh!

Was expecting better. Brunch hot drinks and some modest cakes. Terrible strong Americano coffee And a club sandwich with poor bread that was over toasted to a dry crisp . Filling and salad garni was fresh and tasty. All served by stumbling girls. I noticed a lady asking 3 times for a pot of hot water. Service was slow. All in all a clumsy effort in a perfect spot to do so well. Great visual presence near the court house.

Dropped kids to school. Decided to treat myself to breakfast before going grocery shopping. Ordered poached eggs with bacon and sourdough. Food set down…. 2 slices of sourdough toast, 2 slices of bacon, 3 sun dried tomatoes, a handful of spinach, tomato relish and 1 SMALL poached egg plopped in the middle. I’m a hard working person and deserved to treat myself but being totally honest at £7.95 this was far from a treat. I was robbed! If I were to make the same at home it would cost no more than £3 at best, I asked the staff where the other egg was to which they replied they can cook another one but at an added cost. I am aware of the cost of living and cost of food but on this breakfast alone they will profit at least £4. I have eaten in many cafés in Omagh and never been ripped off like this before. Bad word of mouth spreads ten times faster than good word of mouth. You can be assured I will never darken the door of serindipity cafe again. Anyone who works hard to earn their money please spend it wisely and avoid this cafe at all costs

Arrived at 2.30pm and the place apparently closes at 3.00pm. Ordered a panini and sourdough chicken and mentioned soup and abruptly told "no soup". When it arrived completely underwhelmed and after leaving both of us mentioned the lack of chicken. Whilst eating, staff swept the floor and cleaned around us, subtle hint to hurry up and leave! We have ate in other places in Omagh and left very good reviews but afraid will definitely not be rushing back here. This place was recommended but we wouldn't recommend it, if you want a nice relaxing meal!

This isn't the worst place in Omagh but it is by no means the best. The new location is much more spacious and is well decorated with a nice atmosphere, however the food is just alright and portions are small. By far the worst thing is how long it takes for your food to arrive. The speed of service doesn't seem to improve at any time of the day, even when it isn't very busy. To top this all off, attention to detail needs to be improved. I was given a smoothie with a strawberry on the side of the glass which was covered in mould. The one thing I can't fault is how friendly and helpful most of the staff are, which really does make such a difference to the customer experience. This and the decor are positives about the place, but they still have a few things they can improve on.

I completely fell in love with the Serendipity cafes new premises the beautiful decor the menus and beautiful presentation of food and drinks also it’s so nice to have a licensed cafe and just somewhere to have a lovely lunch and a cocktail unfortunately I feel it’s let down by the service.. as they are busy...drinks were slammed down on the end of the table and the waitress rushed off again rather than served...there was no check back or conversation...I think also especially on a Saturday they should locate a member of staff at the front bar/till it would take a lot of pressure off the staff having to keep an eye on this area and being distracted?

We enjoyed brunch here recently. The food is wonderful and the service lovely. The fact the a us was out the door shows how great it must be. The only downside is the side. We felt it was too small and the number of times my friend had to apologise as people needed past her seat was awful. We would go back at a quieter time.

I recently visited this cafe with my mum while in omagh after hearing good reviews. I will not be back! Where do I start! On arrival we were ‘greeted’ by a very unfriendly waitress, we had to ask for the table to be cleaned, no menus were offered so I had to track down the same waitress and ask for some. After some 10 minutes we were asked for our order which was 2 panini’s and tea for 2. Tea arrived very shortly but the panini’s took 25 minutes! By that time our tea was cold, no explanation or apology was given. There were 4 people in the cafe at the time (who all had food in front of them). The panini’s were cool and not toasted as the menu would suggest! Cheese not even melted!I am very disappointed! And wasn’t cheap either! Had to go home and have lunch!

After hearing Serendipity had re-located I decided to visit here for breakfast with friends to check it out. My title of review says it all- I really am very disappointed. The service we received from the young(ish) girl from the moment we arrived was shocking, in the sense that she had a very bad attitude and lacked basic manners. She should not be working in customer service never mind a busy coffee shop that has just opened.

Serendipity is such a lovely little cafe on Bridge Street in Omagh town centre. It is one of the few remaining places where one can get a lovely tea or coffee and cake in pleasant surroundings. The inside of the cafe is very quaint and decorated in a kitsch manner which is sweet. The staff are lovely if not a little poorly trained (one girl slammed down our plates and managed to pour hot tea all over my knee without noticing), but they are very smiley and welcoming and the waiting time for food is minimal. I highly recommend the cream tea, which is beautiful and all the cakes looked wonderful, as did the sandwiches on offer. The atmosphere and food combined make this little place well worth a visit. The only recommendation I might make is that they replace their choice of loud radio with some brighter, softer music. I love Serendipity and will visit again.

Food regime permitting, order the wheaten bread with lunch. Do not miss this joyful food. This is a charming, local eatery seeking to please local and tourist alike. There's a slight issue of smelling of food when you leave -easily sorted by the owners, if willing. The menu is simple but the quality is what shines - delightful! The decor is charming, too. We stopped for coffee and cake and found the cake selection limited to two items. We ordered two lattes and a cheese and onion toastie. We got two lattes but they arrived as one-and-a-half lattes in one large cup and half a latte in another cup. When we'd drunk some the waitress came by to see if we wanted them topping up with filter coffee?! The toastie was very thin and the four sandwiches were gone in eight bites. The Malteser cheesecake was nice but the chocolate fudge cake was stale and not exactly warm when it had been heated up to melt the fudge.

Some how they managed to take this review down but I'm reposting it so everyone knows how they treat prospective customers... I bought two tickets to one of the Summer Sessions concerts but I got COVID the day before. I requested a refund on the event ticket app but got no response so I contacted the venue directly. I was told the lady who dealt with refunds was off, but because I bought the tickets over 30 days ago, I probably would not be eligible. This was all before the event and tickets were still on sale! I then tried contacting the venue through the event ticket app after the event and I never got a response! Not even so much as a discount voucher. £60 down the drain. I will never go to a concert here again!
