Serendipity Cafe Ltd in County Durham

Un pequeño café encantador. Vinimos aquí esta mañana de camino a casa después de nuestras vacaciones. El desayuno inglés completo sabía increíble hecho con artículos de calidad. El tocino era agradable y espeso. Las salchichas estaban sabrosas y los huevos amigos estaban dippy tal como me gustan. Buen precio y el servicio era genial también. Muy recomendable.

Gran lugar con personal muy amable y servicial, nada es nunca demasiado para ellos. He visitado un par de veces ahora y la comida es consistentemente excelente y buena relación calidad-precio. Puedo recomendar a fondo los desayunos brillantes todo el día y los almuerzos del domingo son excelentes. Gran selección de pasteles y bebidas, así que me alegra que descubrimos este lugar. Las fotos incluidas son del pequeño almuerzo del domingo, que se ve lejos de ser pequeño, la carne de res es excelente. ¡No sé dónde habrían encontrado sitio en el plato de desayuno para agregar los hongos y el pudín negro que decliné! También son amigables con los perros, que es una gran ventaja para nosotros.

What a find! After a lovely walk from Langley Park, we stopped her for a coffee and it turned out, some amazing scones! Nothing was too much trouble - we had a dog who was also treated with some sausage so every one was happy. A real community feel to the place. We would definitely come back again.

Small friendly cafe serving reasonably priced good quality breakfasts. We had two coffees and two breakfast rolls. All delicious.

Polite, friendly and excellent service. We had 1 all day breakfast and 1 sausage bun both of which were very tasty and good quality. Perfect place to rest with some lovely food.

We had a lovely lunch here yesterday with a good friend. The lasagna was very tasty and piping hot. My wife had the prawn Marie Rose sandwich. Our friend had the seafood platter. The staff were polite and very helpful.

Anyone looking for a place to eat, I would 100% recommend Serendipity cafe! It’s a little gem! 🤩 We visited today for some lunch and I already can’t wait to go back. From start to finish my whole experience was amazing. Fast attentive and friendly service. The staff were amazing and so welcoming. What a beautiful menu they had. They have something for everyone. My mother had the prawn cocktail. She said it was packed with prawns and the salad was fresh, tasty and full of flavour. I had the homemade beef lasagne. Wow! Best lasagne I’ve had in a long time. Full of flavour perfect size and to top it off it was served with beautiful garlic bread cooked to perfection and a side salad that was crunchy tasty and full of flavour like my mother said. Such an amazing little cafe serving delicious food! I would recommend this place to anyone. Will definitely be going back! Thank you again! 10/10 👍🏼🤩

Popped in for coffee, received a friendly welcome and enjoyed a decent cup of coffee. Outside seating available. Good selection on the menu.

Fantastic service, quality and value. It was our first time visiting Serendipity and definitely won't be our last. A truly lovely experience!

We stopped in today before visiting my family in the village and it was a yummy way to break up the afternoon. Welcoming environment, we were served quickly, food was cooked perfectly and brought quickly too. My partner had the all day breakfast and was particularly impressed by the quality of the sausage and black pudding, I had a panini and it was really nice. My mother, her fiancee and their dog are regulars, and we came here on their recommendation. Everything you want from a cafe really! Thanks Serendipity x

I call here regularly while out cycling for coffee and cake. Today we went in for lunch, and had the best lasagna I've ever had. Absolutely glorious with some garlic bread and salad, plus Coke in a glass bottle, which is always better.

Such friendly staff and locals made for a lovely hour enjoying the delicious teacakes, scones, tea and coffees

A nice little cafe. Called in for lunch and was seated straight away. Good options on the menu (impressed breakfast was still available). The food and drinks were all served quickly and were spot on.

We popped in for lunch on a cold miserable day. One had soup abs a rustic bun abs the other had jacket potato with salad and coleslaw. Both nice. Can’t wait to go back next time abs try the Cumberland Sausage sandwich. Cakes look delicious too.

Me and my colleague called in on spec and tried the special Cumberland sausage ring with mushrooms and we weren’t disappointed. A real butchers sausage cooked fresh. Great service and coffee good too. Definitely be back. We were told we could pre order if travelling by again

My son and I popped into this new cafe which is in lanchester for a quick bite to eat and we weren't disappointed. The staff are lovely,warm and friendly and the food is absolutely fantastic. This is not just another cafe, the food we had was carefully prepared and delicious and the coffee is good too. We both had the Cumberland sausage sandwich and it was fantastic. There is also a good selection of cakes. I would definitely recommend this place as an ideal drop in for anybody in the area or passing through.

I visited as a solo and was readily tempted by the sausage ring with side salad and dressing . Yum yum I will be back. Very friendly staff and a lovely pair of black labradors sitting patientlyv by the adjacent table suggested they were happy also.

We were greeted on arrival by the very friendly staff and given a menu which gave lots of choice. The new owner Lisa also told us about the specials which included homemade soup, vegetarian lasagne and a special Christmas panini. We opted for a toastie...
