Secret Garden Cafe in West Lindsey

Coffee and cake(apple & cinnamon )very nice however don’t rate service. Girl was rude, unfriendly and sullen. Won’t be back.

Myself and two close friends visited after a Funeral last week.We were impressed with the cleanliness and atmosphere on entering the venue. The music was good.Our portions of food was larger than we expected for the price,the quality was that of a proper home cooked meal. I am not easily impressed but was very happy and satisfied after my visit. I will definitely recommend to friends visiting Gainsborough and will return whenever I visit again.

Both myself and my husband haven't visited Wetherspoons for over a year now. But we decided to give it a go yesterday for lunch. The young man behind the bar was very friendly and professional. That's were the good service ended though. My husband ordered the chicken and chips and I ordered the "American Cheeseburger" and chips. The order took about 10 minutes to arrive, no problem, yet the tattooed server just dropped down our meals in front of us and she walked away. No smiles and we felt like we were the cause of her unhappiness. I was shocked at the size of my plate portions. I never took a photo which I regret now as The burger was so tiny, I wondered if it was a children's meal as the portion of chips were also very meagre. My poor husband had to give me some of his chips as he felt sorry for me. The chips were cold so it was no great gift. Unfortunately, my husband couldn't finish his chicken as he claimed that it tasted funny. Later that evening my husband complained about stomach pains and bowels issues which lasted into today. I am very disappointed at the obvious cheapening of meals since a year ago and the quality of the meals. Shame on you Wetherspoons, you are going downhill and we wont be returning.

Great pizza. Could have eaten two. Not because they were small but because they were lovely.

My grandparents lived here and my children have always gone and now I am a grandparent I take my grandchildren here and have seen it grow in size to what it is now.
