We’ve been here quite a few times an you kinda know what to expect The restaurant is clean The staff are very friendly and sort out any problems The burgers and bob on an good value for money The curry offer is a bargain My friend has had the mixed grill an said it was bob on Apart from the chicken witch is what I had An it was a proper let down The kinda thing you would throw it for a dog an it would bring it back to you!!! I could only eat half of it cos I was starving We did tell the manager A she was very apologetic an offered us a free drink to make up for it!! Some stuff on the menu are a bargain just be careful what you order

It's an awful pity you have to get some or all of your own cutlery. On arrival for first time a la a single customer was shown to a table and left there without explanation that orders needed to be placed at the bar for food and the menu was totally different to that on the tables. Small changes may make it a great place.

Was out with friends, I had the burger Combo. bacon cheese burger, chicken wings and rump steak, with chips and a corn on the cob. My friends had the seabass and the gammon and eggs. All dishes were delicious. Good night out for a Tuesday evening.

We arrived on Thursday the 13th of March 2025 ,5 o'clock ish in which was pre booked. We got a great table and ordered food and drinks for me and my brother. I was all friendly, helpful and good atmosphere in the Seahorse. We didn't have to wait long -food was lovely and ordered more drinks too. Staff made sure everything was OK with food etc. Staff were great unfortunately we didn't get the staffs names but very friendly and interactive with us was lovely. We were going to the floral pavilion to see a liverpool legends night. So it was a great choice to come to this establishment, so nice we will be coming back soon from liverpool. So thanks again all staff members-you were all great to make us feel welcome and a friendly atmosphere thanks again Jimmy/Eddie Taylor.

Food that was served, was prepared on mass and heated before service and not really good quality. Could do better.

Had a lovely meal with some family before a concert, I had the beef lasagne and garlic bread and the food was good and came out on time, I was served by a lovely gentlemen named Shaun very fun guy really charismatic and lots of energy he even came over to check on us over our food and drink would definitely go again just because of the great service

The staff were great and very attentive, there wasn’t much waiting time on food/drinks, the prices were brilliant, and it felt very welcoming.

Great little place to stop for a beer. My son loves the double cheeseburger. Be even better Sunday afternoon if footy was on tv.

Popular busy establishment. Big menu choice. Good drinks variety. Sean the barman was great making us cocktails and shots with a friendly smile. Dog friendly and families welcomed. Quite noisy and busy at times and staff struggling to clear tables. Casual quick dining place.

We Visit regularly, at least 4 times a month, often with family and kids. Outstanding service from sean behind the bar today. Have to say he was friendly, smiling and offered help to a young girl on her own serving. The only negative today was seeing an older, long haired more senior staff member berate sean for serving us. We had waited with at least 6 people in front of us. Sean not only helped us, but also supported his work colleague. It was sad, belittling and frankly unprofessional to have a go at this helpful friendly staff member in front of customers. I hope you see this and realise good staff are hard to find, and that belittling others just makes you look bad 👎 Sean. Well done, keep smiling and remember you are doing a great job putting customers first x

Took advantage of the 2 4 1 burger on Friday and the £5 deals

Just been in the New Brighton lace for breakfast .loads of empty table by the window .ordered two breakfast come back to the table .Told by the manager to move the table is reserved. In a very rude manner .I replied why don’t u wright the times on the label so people will know what time it reserved for . He square up to me and said don’t give me shit or a will cancel your order . I was shocked and very upset that we as customers are spoken to that way

Fabulous! What an amazing team especially the guy behind the bar who took our order...I think his name was Sean. So friendly, bubbly and welcoming. Food was served very quickly, piping hot and delicious. Will definitely return more frequently if this is the new high standard of service.

Great birthday tea. £5 January deals helped our budget when our groupl were feeling rhe pinch after Christmas

Absolutely good family orientated restaurant but indeed not a gourmet restaurant. It's is indeed serving a great part of our community. Excellent value for money A great rough and ready option.

Had a lovely visit to the Sea Horse this lunchtime, with v welcoming staff and great service

I had the Korean BBQ Chicken Burger and a side of Halloumi Strips. Both were great but the BBQ Chicken Burger came with salt & pepper chips, sure. But it looked like a load of sawdust was dumped on top of it... Other than that, the place was clean and tidy, the staff were really pleasant and efficient and the food came out quick (maybe a tad too quick). I recommend it if you want a couple of hours out of the house with some affordable food and drink 🍻

We didn't book but got a table in the dog friendly area this was ok and they checked we were ok with it first. I ordered for myself and my two children on the app which was quite easy. The drinks were quick and the food didn't take long it was all as expected the kids pasta seems to have improved from when they have had pub lunch in the past. We accidentally left without pudding as I forgot we ordered it and my daughters were full and wanted to leave overall a good experience

Well, it was Christmas Day and I had tried to book the day before and couldn’t. We were there anyway as we had come from Derby and spent the day at Wallasey. The staff was able to accommodate us after speaking to manager. We even got a delicious turkey dinner and crackers! They definitely made our day. The food was delicious and fairly priced. Portions were plenty and we even ordered pudding. It was exceptionally good, thank you!

Very reasonably priced. There were 10 of us and 4 only got their meal when the other 6 had finished unfortunately . . Staff friendly and helpful. Food could have been hotter.

Went in on Friday and got my drink very quickly the bar man Shaun had a good laugh and made me and my mates feel at home

Worst food ever, won't go again. Roast potatoes went back, they would of knocked you out put it that way. Curry think was from asda frozen section, awful.

Popped in for breakfast and I can't speak highly enough of my visit. Service was quick and polite and the food was really good for the money. Nice clean toilets too.

Staff were pleasant, and the food was nice. It's cheap . It's cheerful. It's clean. Barman was extremely helpful and seemed to be enjoying his job, which in turn made for a pleasant experience.

We had our Tea and Breakfast food was very nice and hot when it arrived.

Nice place, and what is important for us is that it is pets friendly. Unfortunately, today there was no table available and the waiting time was over 1 hour so we went to a different place. Taking into account that it was bonfire night celebrations, we weren't supposed to be surprised. Next time we will book a table in advance. We definitely will be coming back

The coke was flat. The food was pretty good, although paying £2 extra for scampi with the mixed grill guy an extra 4, tiny pieces of scampi, which was a bit tight. Other than that though, pretty good.

Staff were fantastic and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back.

Not our usual haunt for breakfast I have to be honest but surprised with quality of food and service. Paige our waitress was lovely and food was served really hot .. which isn’t the case usually for eggs Benedict. The English breakfast was lovely too. Clean and relaxed atmosphere .. will definitely come again. 🙂

roast potatoes were ant Bessie's top side roast beef was fatty thin whole Sunday dinner which I thought 🤔 I tried was absolutely awful they sell a 2 pound quick dinner I pound land better would never order a Sunday dinner again beware go to carvery

Nice place. Nice food (well, basically the Quadzillas are great...I say this as someone who peruses the menu for half an hour and always end up getting the same bleedin' thing). One thing I couldn't recommend are the puddings - tiny for what you pay and not great quality. Oh, and the milkshakes taste like they've been made with Nesquik topped with squirty cream. Mains and starters are great, though.

Went tonight with my daughter for pre cinema mocktails and the staff were so lovely! especially the 2 gentlemen, one on the door who greeted us and seated us and the man who served us at the bar, not only did he give us wine glasses so my daughter felt all grown up he gave her a panda teddy with her glass which she loved!! Felt so welcome and service was beyond what was expected!!

Amazing place. We often go when visiting new Brighton for the day. Food is always amazing,hot & fresh. Staff are very helpful. Toilets are really clean & the atmosphere is always really good. Deserts are on another level

Staff work so hard to get things right ..

Visited yesterday with quite a large group, we didn't have a booking but staff were great and very accommodating. Food was recieved quickly and piping hot. The kids especially enjoyed the little claw machine. Toilets were clean, staff were pleasant.

Just been charged £3.49p for a cup of tea . Call me a mingebag if you like, but, I think that is absolutely outrageous !

Staff lovely, whole place had a nice vibe but some of the menu items are criminally overpriced. Cheeseburger quesadilla for £7 but is thinner than a papercut!

My friend & I visited The Hungry Horse yesterday. We were met outside looking at the menu by a lovely young waitress Julie. She was so helpful going out of her way to make us welcome. We enjoyed the sharing plates & our favourite wine. All the staff were very pleasant & polite. Good value for money We shall definitely go back. Thank you to all.

A few years since we last visited and it seems that it has improved since then. The food was great, hot and good portion size for the money. The staff were very friendly and accommodating with all requests. (and a sense of humour which is sometimes missing in some places) It was clean with limited outside dining. Kind friendly. Great chain pub.

Stopping in the area for the weekend and came for Sunday roast and breakfast on the Monday . Even though was very busy on the Sunday , the staff were fantastic and food came out quick and very nice . Breakfast on Monday was great aswel. Will definitely be back next time we in the area

Family of 6 adults. Scored 4 stars for service because you order at the bar and collect your own drinks, cutlery and condiments from a central point. Staff at the bar and serving tables were pleasant and attentive, though, and the food was prompt and hot on arrival. Very tasty, huge portions and excellent value for money. A little noisy for my liking but it was a Sunday evening and lots of kids eating. Would recommend.

Quiet pup typical weather's weatherspoons pup no music or atmosphere. The food was decent, but I had to que at the bar for a good amount of time. Food came out in crazy times, so some people had finished eating before others hadn't even got their food

Came last Wednesday .what great service we got from Shaun and sharna./Shannon. unsure if spelt her name correctly. Shannon is always polite and friendly service is always excellent.....great asset to the company. You didn't have the wine I wanted. So Shaun recommend a wine ...great choice thanks Shaun...... Went back to seahorse today 1st August Again so impressed with shannon/sharna need to remember her correct name ..again excellent service and also from paige....we are back again on Saturday 3rd July with friends from Durham what better place to bring them Great menu Excellent food Good prices Friendly staff Great atmosphere Clean and tidy Thanks guys

Great place for the family to eat. Plenty of choice for kids. Plus several deals depending what you want. The guy on the bar (andrew) was very helpful when my kids kept changing their mind and wanting something else. Staff cleaning all the tables regularly. Food is a sensible price that doesnt break the bank.

Wouldn’t recommend even if it was free. The management swore at us, x3 orders wrong and they did not care, they were too busy arguing and telling us we were in the wrong. They also told us that they would give us a refund for the food that we did not have but after a week this is still not the case (Jenny manager) - stay away you get exactly what you pay for. Typical really bad chain MANAGEMENT AWFUL

Visited the seahorse for lunch on Monday and wasn’t disappointed . Food was all lovely , fresh and piping hot . Friendly staff too. Would definitely recommend

We were served by a lovely lad called Shaun, always came over to make sure everything was okay and went out the way for everything, lovely lad in general will definitely be returning!

Just went for a catch up with a mate, didn't expect anything much just some pub food and some drinks, our server Shaun made our night, super polite, very funny and upbeat, will be returning, If I could leave a rating for the mustache it would also be 5 stars.

Visited here yesterday on our first visit to New Brighton excellent service nothing was to much trouble. The bar man Shaun was so friendly and chatty which is what you need when you come to a new place. And it was fab that they were dog friendly

We are sitting here outside whilst the England Switzerland game is on... never been to New Brighton before. Fancied a coffee and found this place. Welcomed by a very nice young man with black hair in a pony tail... tried to accommodate us in the dog friendly area but it was busy so we sat outside. Food was delivered quickly and hot. Very nice... plate of sausages ordered for the dog and the lady at the bar said she would make sure they weren't too hot. Food was good. Very friendly atmosphere. Toilets spotless and you get free coffee refills! We will be back
