Morrisons Cafe in Wirral

sadly, on this occasion, things were not good! little teapots need a good scrub and descale!-my husband's egg and cress sandwich was frozen!-he was offered a refund, or another which he collected, only to find that was icy too.

For the price, you can't go too far wrong here. There's a great selection of food, which includes cakes, sandwiches, and hot meals. I had roasted vegetable paini, which was tasty if not presented very well on the plate. Had it warmed up, which was nice on a cold day even if it did take a while to come. The hot chocolate was delicious and the staff were very friendly.

Fantastic cafe and very polite staff, we’re not local but can’t wait to return… there’s something for you here!

I bought a mega breakfast with a free child's meal from Morrisons cafe yesterday. My son really enjoyed his chips nuggets and beans, sadly my mega breakfast was missing and egg and two pieces of bacon where pale and hard. (they looked old). Fortunately the lovely lady at the checkout was very nice about it and offered to bring me some more. Time was against me though and the management came thru and issued a refund. Very impressed with the customer service here. Excellent job guys and gals

They do a decent breakfast here. The sausages aren't the best but very good value for the money.

Sadly only just lunch time and half the menu already off, baked potato not fully cooked, cold scrambled eggs and toast, no condiments dirty cutlery pleasant if very few staff

Me and my partner had breakfast i had no issues with mine but her boiled eggs with soldiers were both raw. Which they rectified with poached . Staff helpful as this was new to the menu but it shouldn’t happen.

The quality of the food we ordered, baked potato, filling and salad garnish, was as always....good. Problem was, service a bit slow, even though the staff were busy doing there best, which means to me staff shortage...perhaps just one more would have made a big difference.

We were directed to table 16 which was sticky and had obviously not been cleaned. The trays were filthy. The staff are friendly but hygebe standards during Covid are not up to standard. We had the small full English and a pot of tea each...brekkie was tolerable although one piece of rock hard bacon was hidden under the egg.

Very good service and everyday being half price makes this very competitive.

Great staff good breakfast except for the cremation of a tea cake which seems to be a Morrisons special

Had a pigs in blanket butty. the bun was a little stale and the pigs were a little dry. it was edible but not great.

A decent range of hot food, drinks and pastries.

Staff not very competent ... always away from the till so you have to wait to order then they put new staff on by themselves so it takes ages to go through .. not their fault ... should just have help when learning

Given it 3 chances on cooked breakfasts and its always cold! Even the coffee machine can't produce hot coffee. Great staff though.

Best place for afternoon tea. Wish the shop sold the same Egg Custard Tart as the Cafe.

Good but you need to change the child's menu no hot healthy meals like the ones you advised on the telly like the fish pie things like that my granddaughter s mother is very choosey what I give her.

Very good value for money and range of food. This cafe is very much improved over the past few months.

Had a breakfast and cup of coffee there was plenty of food served hot and quickly and tasted great well worth it i will go again

Very friendly staff ...nothing is to much trouble for them ...Love going every Friday.

Best bacon sandwich in my local supermarket cafes

Had a bowl of soup and a fruit salad. Both nice. Soup was glued to the bowl at the edges from overheating. Could have been a bit more volume. Tasted very nice though. Generous cup of fresh milk given to me by young waitress to go with my tea.

Great lady on the till, lovely coffee.

Only had tea and coffee but overheard people complaining of 40minutes waiting for meals then when it did turn up was not the right order and quality not up to standard

We found the staff very friendly,food was good value for the money cafe was clean too.

It's not the cafe that needs sorting out it's the whole shop huge gaps temporarily out of stock week later still the same gaps don't rate Morrisons at all over the last month and going dear to many chiefs not enough indians

Fair. They seem incapable of fixing their coffee machines.

Very poor service been waiting for half an hour for my lunch and still no sign lunchtime almost over!!!
