Absolutely disgusting worse food I’ve ever eaten in my life of what they sent!! worse service ever!don’t ever order from this place again and I will be making sure everyone knows this!!!

Very disappointing. Used to be an excellent chippy and when the new owners took over all seemed good. The second time we ordered was via Just Eat and delivery was over an hour late. After trying to contact them several times with no answer we ended up collecting the food ourselves. The place was empty and three members of staff were just stood around. They did get our food together and added a free meal as substitute for the wait, but when we got home (literally 5 mins away) the food was stone cold. The chicken meat tasted like it had been reheated several times and was dried out. The food was just cold and greasy. We didn't end up eating much as it was really unappetising. Shame but won't be using these again.

Visit my visit was good the first time I've ever been there the food was good I would recommend to use the place. Good luck to the people who run the place

The best fish and chips I've eaten in years! The fish is cooked from fresh in front of you, the battered chips are perfect : crispy( not soggy) and soft in the middle. The staff are very friendly and polite.....a very positive experience. Can't wait to order again. Probably the best chippie in cannock.

The owner is rude, gives it the big IAM, the food in terrible! I was queuing waiting for some fish. A regular comes in orders fish he gets served before me. Terrible service, terrible food. I think the owner needs to find a new business venture just not in the food or people business

Everytime I've come to cannock to work across the road from this chip shop its CLOSED, so I have to drive elsewhere to get chips.

No salad in tray after ordering it, wrong sauce on the kabab, the nann bread was rock hard! Everyones meal was something wrong. Won't be ordering again!

Seagull more like Sea-lol because that is hilariously great. I had 4 battered mars bars and had a singular pickled onion (I WAS STUFFED). The employees deserve a raise and treated them all to their own kebabs.

walked in and was only accepting cash and when i asked why the told me to shush, grabbed a raw cod rubbed it on me and after threw a boogiebomb at me

To start with loved the place nice soft batter etc..... now past 2 times i have ordered chips stale and hard, batter hard and fish very chewy. Basically its like they have reheated left over food

Amazing food! Customer service was exceptional. Having lived in Cannock for 30 years I can honestly say this is now my favourite chip shop. Fish was made fresh to order, fresh fish rather than frozen and the quality in taste difference was second to none. The chips were made fresh just moments before I ordered and you can tell no expense is spared when these guys order their food. Fresh hot food, served with outstanding customer service. Would 100% recommend. Even got a lollipop free for the little one whilst I waited which she was over the moon with! Keep doing your thing Seagull!

Waited an hour and half for online order and still waiting fobbed off by staff will not be ordering again.

i went today with my son and i cant explain how terrible it was. i heard shouting and screaming upstairs and dont get me started on the greenie in my food. good chips tho

I had 6 large fish and chips. 4 large donner kebabs, 15 fish cakes and 17 diet cokes and my word was it worth it. The family enjoyed all of it especially little jimmy who scoffed half the fish. He loved every last bit of it. 100% would recommend #seagull #seagullforver #seagulltillidie. I love seagulls

It’s called seagull but the meat is far from that. Honestly it is the best chip shop in cannock. Me and my pals all had the mixed meat and chips (except Paul who only had donner meat). We were extremely pleased definitely heading back

The reason for the one star is the the poor service, they work on the idea that telephone orders are more important that walk in orders - which I believe both are equally as important. They should have some one working on the walk-ins. Only order a large portion of chips which we waited over half an hour. The chips were not the best and I would not use Seagull fish bar again.

Had food from there for the first time today, sadly chips were undercooked and tasteless. Mini fish and sausage was ok, gravy thin too. Expected better but there you go. Was hungry so still ate it anyway, but sadly won't be rushing back to buy more.

RIP OFF AND RUDE This place gets one star from me. They charged my 11 year old daughter £9 for a fishcake and chips. Also a battered sausage and chips. When I went to ask them why, the owner was rude and obnoxious. Told me they ware 3.80 usually but because she had them in a tray that was the price. Then he told me to leave his shop because I had gone there moaning. Just rude and a rip off. Go to the pied piper. If your hungry. They have Value for money friendly staff.

Avoid seagul fishbar on the Stafford road in Cannock. Practically raw chicken and when I phoned to complain they called me a lair and told me undercooked chicken can’t hurt me. (All ready vomited once tonight). Disgusting customer service and extremely rude staff.

First time tried tonight, the staff were really friendly, the shop was so clean I could eat my food off it, however the food is the most important - amazing! Best battered fish I’ve had from a chippy! Thank you guys!

Had to wait 30 mins for a fish and a portion of chips so left without the food. Bloke before me in the queue said he'd waited 50 mins for his. I found it very impolite that I wasn't told about the waiting time when I ordered. Rest assured, I will never darken these doors again.

Large Cod and chips, cooked beautifully and the staff are so sincere and helpful.

Started to get served, then a order for delivery comes through, then left standing for 15mins while they get the order ready for delivery. Wasn't happy. However the food is fresh and of good quality. Needs some staff serving the walk ins and some staff preparing the deliveries. Not 1member of staff, trying to serve everyone.

Have ordered before and was really bad (whole night of throwing up) but thought, hey give a second chance. Absolutely disgusting honestly, sausage was like eating rubber and chips were insanely dry pieces of cardboard. Will definitely not be ordering again ever

Really helpful staff very clean. Highly recommend. Food hot and delicious, customer service over the telephone from male member of staff is in need of some improvement have experienced this a few times now I would normally understand busy periods but the way you speak to customers are important for any business

Only providing a 3 star due to getting the order wrong for our delivery which I think is such a shame as it was fresh and good portion sizes. Delivery took nearly 2 hours but it is a weekend and need to respect this is the busiest time so don't mind that.

Worst chippy we have had in years, Chips was like mash and all stuck together, fritters was raw, pasty and savaloy was barely warm and the peas & curry was stone cold. Only good thing to say is it was delivered on time. First time using and definitely won't be using again.

Ordered food for it to never turn up tried ringing restaurant finally got through after trying over 50 times to be spoken to by a very rude member of staff shouting and complaining to me that she has had enough of people complaining tonight about there service and that she only works there, then continues to tell me my order will be cancelled

In all honesty 1 star is generous. 3 hours ago I ordered chips. We've already rang once to complain at how long this is taking. Now they're not answering the call. I ordered the food just after 5pm on a Tuesday. I don't think is unreasonable to expect it to be delivered before they close at 10pm. Absolutely outrageous. What's they delivering the food on? A bicycle? Just not good enough. To top it off they've also now marked the delivery.. And I suspect many other orders as delivered. Just so it doesn't ruin their statistics with just eat. If you can't support the volume then don't put your business on just eat. 0/10 would not recommend

Food cooked fresh, takes a little longer but so worth it, good sized portions and owner shows you food before he serves it and seems to genuinely care you are happy.

We called into the Seagull Fish & Chip shop the other day on our way back from our Covid-19 Jab. I had a look on Google for premises with good reviews earlier in the day so we could pick up something to eat on our return home. All I can say is wonderful, the best Fish and Chips we’ve had in years. Food superb, lovely chips and fish that was pure white and cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, we live some miles away otherwise this would be our local, freshly cooked, my wife even had a taste sample. Well, what can you say, can’t say enough - staff friendly and helpful going out of their way to accommodate us. Highly Recommended

I have to say the service was very friendly and the shop was very clean and I had large fish&chips with mushy peas and gravy and it was huge and could of served 2 people and was lovely I will be visiting again 5*

Hi, I came and got a mixed kebab in the day after opening, the doner meat had barely any taste, the chicken was ok, and the chips didn't look cooked they where white, but they weren't actually too bad, please buy some quality doner meat and I shall return, I live only round the corner!!

Popped in for lunch today and the fish and chips was cracking, chips were nice flavour, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, fish was delicious too. Definitely will call again!

Finally a fantastic chip shop that serves fresh tasty chips! Been twice now. The owner is lovely and the service is great. Its very clean inside. Trumps other chip shops round here so hope you get a good trade.

Went on opening day, food was hot and freshly cooked and they even gave us a free bag of chips. Staff are friendly and can't do enough to help and the shop itself is all newly refurbished and sparkling clean. Thankfully an upgrade on when it was Cardinal fish bar. Highly recommended

Second time of using this place since it opened. I have to say, the cod and chips were both spot on! The best cod n chips I have had anywhere in a long time. The owner and his staff were very polite, and the service outstanding! I can highly recommend using this place to anyone, and I will definitely be back soon.

First time trying the food here tonight and it was delicious. My husband had the haddock which was cooked to order and he said it was the best he'd had in ages. I had the mixed kebab and chips, which was ridiculously huge and super tasty. Staff were really chatty and welcoming. Will definitely be using them again. Thanks guys

Service was a little slow but I expected that for first day open. Only had chips and curry sauce but really enjoyed the chips and curry. Look forward to having more food from here. Cheers guys
