This will be my first Google review and it’s a pleasure that this place will be who I write one for. First of all, the food is 10/10. The people who work there are so lovely. Not just with me, but I have never been inside and there were other customers that didn’t have a great rapport with them too. When ever I call to collect they are lovely and happy to hold some chicken for me lol. If I ever became famous and someone asked me to name my top 10 food spots, this would be one of them! Ps if you guys ever leave, imma need at least 4 weeks notice so I can process the loss ! Haha

Delicious traditional fish and chips, highly recommended.

Been recommended this fish bar for a while now and thought I'd visit since I was driving past it. I met two gentlemen who greeted me and I gave my order. I ordered 1 Cod and 1 Haddock with chips. Everything was made on the spot and taken out fresh from the fryer. Chips and fish were wrapped up separately rather than together which I support as you normally get more chips when wrapped up separately with the fish. Fish was really nice with a nice golden, crispy and light batter. Chips were also great with a nice crispy skin and fluffy center. I was surprised how little oil was left in the fish and chips compared to other fish bars which are soaked in oil and stuck to the wrapping. Hopefully will be visiting again 😋

We have had many, many portions of fish and chips,cod mostly and yet to of had a negative experience ! Recommend phoning your order through, often very busy !

Have visited this fish and chip shop many times and always had great service and food has been wonderful. Decided to eat in this time, rock and chips was lovely. Owner is very friendly and helpful. I love that they do not use nut oil when cooking as my daughter is allergic. Highly recommended!!

We've used this Fish and Chip shop for years. The high quality has remained the same, throughout. And I don't think there's any other Fish and Chip shop that can beat their amazing chips!!

Been coming here for many years. The service is top notch every time with friendly, polite and professional staff. For most of that time I can easily say they do the all time best fish and chips you could undoubtedly get anywhere. The chips are always freshly fried, crispy on the outside but soft and tasty. Easily gets 5 stars from me, also have to mention the chicken burger is also amazing.

Ordered chips , curry sauce, saveloy and 1 piece of chicken. Food was amazing, fresh and crispy will definitely be back for more. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, recommend to everyone looking for amazing food!

Crispy batter, the cod n chips was okay. Still lacking quality, of the other two places. The Fish bar Enfield Town. Green hill Parade, barnet Odean chip shop are the two best places.

Had 2pc chicken and chips, made me sick all night, Ensure they give you freshly cooked not the leftovers.

Sea Shell Fish Bar has, by far, the best fish I've ever had. The batter is light and unbelievably crispy, even after a short drive home it's just as crispy as when it came out of the fryer.

The fish is always cooked perfectly with the batter crispy and never soggy or undercooked. The chips are double fried and really tasty. Don't know what oil is used but it doesn't taint the food. Staff are always friendly. It's a popular local takeaway. The best chip shop in this area without doubt.

Quite clean shop but not too professional I went there for the first time to have cod & chips. But unfortunately they’re served me headache instead of Cod :(( It’s really unfair for customers. It is quite stupid game because they are only taking cash 💰 They’re not going to pay TAX.. Nowadays wherever you go they will take part payment and cash... but ONLY CASH 💰💴💵

Felt it was high time I gave these guys a review. I've been a regular here for 5 years, and the standard has never dropped once. Sea shell for me is probably the best chippy this side of London. The guys are pleasant, the food is amazing and is great value for money.

Lovely place to take friends or family for some fresh fish and chips or burgers, beautiful taste I really recommend this to anyone. Staff are very friendly they’ll always wave hello when I walk past locals love to even go in for some chips and a catch up.

Great fish and chips highly recommended

I used to think that The Brothers fish bar in Brimsdown took some beating for freshness and quality. It was taken over and whilst still very acceptable it lacked a certain je ne sais quoi. I have been using the Sea Shell Fish Bar for a number of years now and the quality has been second to none. In a nutshell as opposed to a seashell I wouldn't buy fish and chips from anywhere else. Out of 5 Stars I will give it 7 and the chips they do is amazing. I would be prepared to travel for Fish 'n Chips from here.

Went here with my wife and parents-in-law for a late night pick up when we were all too tired to cook. We ordered 2 orders of Saveloy and Chips and I had a small burger. All of that came to only 8 pounds, which I thought was a good deal. The man at the counter was funny and personable and told us the place had been a fish and chips shop for 78 years in that location. Nothing fancy here but good for some last minute comfort food during the week. If I was a local I would probably get to know the proprietors pretty well.
