One of the worst brunch/dinning experiences I have had. Local to the area and came to restaurant on Thursday 25th with my son. As I walked in the waitress ( dark hair of Turkish decent ) was not receptive and this continued throughout the dinning experience. Her colleague( bald head of Turkish decent ) was nicer and did ask me twice if everything was ok ? The food was mediocre but honestly customer service is key and the waitress needs further training in that area.

The Kumru is the best in London! The family owned joint is our favourite. Try the pistachio milkshake you wont regret it!

5 starts all around. The staff are so sweet and hard working. I went right at lunch time so it was super busy but they still managed to cater decent timely. Go on an empty stomach because the portions are big and well worth the money. I'd say its really good price for the amount of food you get bacuse its super delicious at the same time! Would love to go again.

Found this place on tiktok and went to try it out the next day. Food was nice. It was me and my friends first time there so we walked in and looked around and was looking up at the menus or didn’t know if we had to wait to be seated. It was not packed at the time only 2 tables were occupied. There were 3 workers who saw us but didn’t greet us and was just not really interested. At the end we sat ourself down and someone finally came said there’s menus on the table. We got up to order and as it was my first time there I was asking the lady questions about the food and she was answering back very blunt as if i have done something wrong. She took our order and prepared our food. When it came to picking sauce I asked here which options there is and she said look up at the menu. Anyways during that the guy worker came to us and said I had to give your seat to a family and moved our seat to the next one which was fine by us as we was seated at a table of 4 and we would have gave our table to them anyways however i would of appreciated if he asked us at first before moving our stuff to the other table. We sat down had our food the food was nice a variety of options and big portions. At that point there was 3 tables occupied in total and the guy went around every table and asked if everything is fine with them however asked nothing to us. All workers just looked grumpy to be honest especially the women worker. I’m not the one to write bad reviews but really did ruin my experience. Such a shame because their food was very healthy and I would have wanted to keep returning but the service was just not there at all. Will never return again.

Amazing food, great value for money! This was my first time eating a Kumpir and it was 10 out of 10. Staff are super nice, friendly and welcoming. Really enjoyed dining in as the atmosphere was great. Can’t wait to go there again!

Finally we found real Kumpir in London! It was so tasty. You can choose many toppings and sauces. Atmosphere was nice and cozy. Prices are acceptable. Will definitely visit again.

Fantastic food and great portion sizes

Love the food at Pot and Bun. However, I'm not happy that they do not take orders past a certain time on particular days. I ordered something 40 minutes before closing time, and it was declined. I really like the food, though.

Love Pot & Bun - they produce amazing salads, sandwiches and jacket potatoes, the perfect comfort food to eat in or take away. We sit in often for breakfast/brunch as the food is excellent and the staff are friendly. We also order when we are too lazy to cook at home and collect, as they are filling portions and affordable. We love it there and cannot recommend enough!

I think I just found my new favourite place to keep revisiting. The second I walked in, I knew the food is going to be good and it did not disappoint. So many options when it comes to salad toppings and sauces. Ordered classic kumpir and it was just *chef's kiss* Going to recommend this place to everyone and their neighbours.

Me and the Mrs are here at least once a week. It’s wholesome food, delivered by a family-run operation, and at affordable prices. My wife normally goes for a custom salad, while I’ll normally pick something less healthy… it’s the best place to eat in Winchmore Hill, full stop.

My parents and I have been wanting to try this place for a while now. Unfortunately still didn’t get too because we went in today and the reception was so cold and unwelcoming- we walked in and hovered at the front for a little bit not knowing whether to sit or to wait for someone to seat us and all four staff barely acknowledged our existence. It was almost like we weren’t there and if we were, they didn’t seem to care if we stayed or left. It was only us and another family in the vicinity, and they we already sitting and eating. Didn’t ask if we needed help or guidance, especially it being our first time - some guidance to understand how it worked would have been nice. Didn’t even smile to be honest. I’m really not one to write reviews but I was so disappointed today, I felt like I had to. Ended up just leaving and again, no one cared. I’m all for supporting local businesses but it’s difficult to part with your money to establishments in instances like this. A real shame.

Best food I have had in ages. So fresh and tasty. The owner or manager is fantastic, so attentive and friendly. Appears to be an independent establishment. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Next time we visit we will be back.

The jacket potato option is like no other jacket potato you've ever had! Fantastic! You choose 5 toppings in addition to the grilled chicken or whatever. It's so fresh, tasty and filling. Very noisy in there though!

Went to Pot&Bun for lunch with 2 other friends and it was my first time to eat there. I was extremely surprised of how clean the shop was, staff is very polite and helpful. Food is tasty and the coffee is amazing. Will be visitinig soon.

Since Pot and Bun opened in October I have been a regular customer of theirs due to how good their food and service is, I'm always welcomed with a smile. I've tried almost everything on their menu and can't fault any of it. The portion sizes are more than satisfactory. The selection of vegetables, salads, dips, sauces etc are vast and all of which are fresh, homemade and full of flavour. Their desserts make me wish I went to the gym more often so I can eat more. The outdoor seating area is nice. Great location, always find parking easy. I'm looking forward to my next Kumru. I'm getting hungry writing this. I'll be there this evening lol.

Great concept with loads of options, have now tried few things on the menu and left satisfied every time. Staff are very kind welcoming and helpful, also providing great service with quick fashion. Lemon juice is incredible and the ice cream is out this world! MUST TRY!! Thanks Pot&Bun !

It’s so hard to find places that can actually do kumru & kumpir in London. My kumpir was loaded with veg & salad ! Would of preferred the potato to be a little more seasoned & cheesy. Besides that I did enjoy it.

Really worth checking out. This place upgrades the jacket potato known as kumpir which travellers to Istanbul will be familiar with and presents it in a sophisticated but unpretentious way. The range of fillings and possibility of combinations is large. The coffee is good and home made desserts are nice. Given that the place is nearby Grovelands Park a takeaway is also a good option. In the heat the interior is air conditioned and an airy outside seating area is also available. For car travellers parking is available very close by.

I took my boys to Pot & Bun today after school. Their selection of ice cream was delicious and their drinks were super tasty. The staff were very polite and helpful. Looking forward to coming again. Thank you.

Delicious food, I was not expecting this, need to try Everything :) no need to go Istanbul for Kumpir they make the best one. Highly recommend it for Quick lunch and breakfast.

This place is an excellent spot for Kumpir’s which are Turkish-Style jacket potatoes. I had the pleasure of visiting several times already as we missed having Kumpir and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and the service. The potatoes themselves were cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin and smooth interior that was perfectly mixed. They have a range of cool toppings which I found equally impressive, with a wide range of additional options to choose from that were all fresh and delicious. The café itself is welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it a great spot to unwind and enjoy a meal. The staff are friendly and attentive, and made me feel in Istanbul. Overall, I highly recommend Pot and Bun to anyone who loves a good Kumpir jacket potato. The quality of the food and the friendly service make it a must-visit spot in Winchmore Hill.

A very filling and delicious potatoes 💫 Since opening, I've been visiting this restaurant weekly for my lunch break. I always get a warm welcome, you really can tell it is a family run business. The food is consistent, the ingredients fresh and tasty and their potatoes will fill you up until dinner! I recommend this place, you won't be disappointed 😃

Had a lovely brunch here with the family and all I can say is...this place serves the best baked potatoes in town with so many options on toppings. Great service from the staff. They allow dogs inside too!! Will definitely be eating here again soon!! Recommend the the steak & egg kumpir.

We were excited to try a kumpir in london since our visit to Istanbul. Nice experience. Plenty of filling options including halal meat (NB pork is also served here but kept separate). Perhaps would have enjoyed more if the potato was warmer and seasoned better.

I got the Hellim & sucuk kumpir which was absolutely stunning. Such a big flavoursome portion and leaves you not needing to eat again. The cheesecake is also amazing as it just melts in your mouth. Will defo be visiting the restaurant as I do feel Deliveroo have managed the delivery services poorly. 10/10!!

I’ve eaten in and had take away from here since I discovered it and have to say the jacket potatoes are the best! You can choose up to 5 fillings too for £11 which may seem pricey but it really isn’t as they literally load the fillings on and the potatoes are massive! My fave Kumpir is the Vegan one even though I’m not Vegan or even Veggie :) Everything is super fresh and tasty and you won’t be disappointed.

A welcome addition to Winchmore Hill, Pot & Bun is a lovely Turkish street food cafe. Don’t be fooled by the name, this is not a Spud You Like place. The decor is modern & chic, the open kitchen is scrupulously clean & customer service is warm, friendly, efficient & very carefully executed. I had the Kumpir (baked potato) with tuna & Turkish salad. It was delicious with clean, healthy flavours. The home made honey & almond & lemon ice creams were gorgeous - real palate cleansers. The ideal spot for a tasty lunch, coffee with friends or takeaway supper. Highly recommended.

I have ordered 2 kumru, i have went in and paid they have told me 20 minutes, i came back after 20 minutes to get my food and they said sorry we are busy so your order isn’t ready, why tell me 20 minutes? I understand your busy but don’t take orders if you cannot manage it and making customers wait, its a shame that they have got nice food but there service is awful, I don’t think i will be returning here again. Poor service.

Amazing!!! Not your standard Jacket Potato its even better with over over 20 fillings to chose from the best for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Alongside this there are other breakfast options, crepes, waffles, smoothies, milkshakes and freshly squeezed juices and not forgetting the turkish ice cream yum yum 😋 I would give 10 starts if i could worth every penny!

We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes drive away from home. This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes and beautiful presentation. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Highly recommended.

I’m not really a fan of jacket potato, but I wanted to try this place as the Instagram pictures looked amazing. I would highly recommended it, the Steak Kumpir was so tasty and definitely fully loaded. The service was great. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be going back.
