Redwood Bistro in Enfield

The all day english breakfast was absolutely superb. Better than I have been given in 5* hotels. My wife chose the Croque-Forestier which she said was delicious. Service was excellent. This place is quite a find!

We met friends for lunch. The food was very good. I had whitebait and chips delicious and plentiful. The waitress was very attractive and helpful.

Nice cafe/restaurant, that serves well known dishes with a Brazilian twist! Very helpful staff that allowed us to bring in our own wine.

Was nice to try out somewhere new in Enfield. Lovely breakfast, and shout out to the new waiter who started today, he was polite and helpful 😀

The chips were seasoned to perfection and the service was superb!! Extremely welcoming and warm - made sure all our needs our met :) Food is fresh and come quickly.

Found this place on our way back from the Garden centre. Nice coffee and overall vibe to this place. Minus points for having to re-order after 30 mins and for the incorrect order! Staff very friendly and apologetic for the delayed order.

Came here with a friend for a bite to eat - smallest thing on the lunch menu seemed to be the toasted sandwiches although when the plate arrived it was a biggish meal. Very enjoyable.

Absolutely brilliant find. What a delightful restaurant. The food is amazing, delicious, so fresh and home cooked and beautifully presented. Probably one of the nicest, healthiest, tastiest lunches out I have had for a very long time. I can wholeheartedly recommend the mushroom quesadillas and the stuffed aubergine. The rainbow salad and truffle chips that accompanied it were superb too along with the ambience, music and friendly service; all faultless. I will definitely return!

After visiting the Bistro a while back just for a snack, I was really looking forward to returning to experience a proper lunch. My choice was the Cottage Pie with seasonal veg. It looked great when it arrived at the table. Cottage Pie piping hot , Veg fridge cold !. The server asked if all was OK and I said I don't like to complain but the veg is cold. She said she would tell the chef. A few minutes later the Chef came out and spoke to another couple on the other side of the restaurant. I was ignored !. On paying for our food, I was asked by the same server if we enjoyed our meal. Again I told her of the cold veg , " Oh yeah" was the reply was the only comment. Throughout the years I have dined in too many top restaurants to list in Australia, Dubai , Hawaii in fact all around the world. You can kid yourself that you are running a top class eatery but your only as good as the food you serve. There was no excuse for my meal to be ruined, nor the fact that I complained at the earliest opportunity. Only laziness and complacency.

Absolutely the best food! Especially the whitebait with chips just amazing! Desserts are also very impressive. Haven't had hot apple pie for a while and they served the best.

The lasagna was delicious. Served with such a lovely salad and home made garlic bread. Colourful and pretty and eaten with my eyes first! The lasagna had depth of flavour and the accompanying salad and bread all together was a delicious combination. It was fresh, homemade and super delicious.

Excellent food, portions are huge and everything is freshly prepared. No bought in stuff here! Marcio, Amy and the staff will do everything to keep you satisfied. Do not overlook this place!

Wow! Popped in for lunch and chose the Croque Monsieur.....the portion size is huge, so make sure you are hungry! The Croque was delicious, and was accompanied by a generous helping of seasoned fries, and an amazing and very tasty salad! Well worth a visit, and the other items on the menu also looked great. Nice chilled atmosphere with music playing in the background, and the people working there are very friendly...so if you fancy some great food, then give the Redwood Bistro a try!

If you haven't visited this lovely little bistro yet, you're missing a treat! The food is amazing, top quality, very fresh and is huge for the price! The staff are lovely and very friendly too. Well worth a visit!! EDIT: Still as lovely as ever, the food is great and staff are lovely. Go and see for yourself, you won't be disappointed!

I found this place last October while they were based within the Woldens Nursery, and since then have looked forward to my next trip home from Devon. Thankfully, I located the Bistro, as they have moved to a small premises further down Cattlegate Road. I have to say, the Croque Monsieur is easily the best I have had the pleasure to eat. It is served with fries and a beautiful salad. If you are reading this, and live locally, lucky you!! Check them out. You will not be disappointed. Add to the above the friendly staff and this one bistro that you will want to visit more than once.

Wonderful hidden gem, beautiful food made with care. You can tell the chef truly cares that people are enjoying what he makes. The side salad alone was to die for! Wish it was open in the evenings so I could come more.

We used to always go to a specific garden centre to have a brilliant lunch but were really disappointed today when the cafe was now just selling sandwiches. Luckily someone there told us the people who used to run the cafe now had a restaurant down the road. Off we went! Not disappointed. Chicken pie as good as it ever was and now you can get lovely crispy fries with it, as well as a salad on the plate that’s not just an afterthought. Lots of nice fresh ingredients dressed just right. Not swimming in it. Great staff, great owner and the cakes..! Top tier. Don’t hesitate just go.

Had an amazing Mother’s Day afternoon tea. The staff were so attentive and helpful. The food was delicious and fresh. The scones were heavenly. We had so much we had to bring some cake home with us! Can’t wait to try the regular menu.

Such a lovely spot! Really good vegan options. Staff are great, they remembered that I take oat milk without prompt after only a couple of visits - it’s the little things! Really clean, high quality ingredients, and most importantly: really good coffee 🤌🏼

I have been in this caffee to Service a fridge, i would like to say one of the cleanest kitchen Redwood have, Highly recommended.

This is not a place to visit if you want a hot meal and are in a hurry. We waited at least 20mins for our food. The Burger was very good, lots of it and tasted nice as well. The Quesadilla was also satisfactory. And then there was the chicken pie : it tasted as though it had been reheated in a very hot oven, The pastry was overcooked and tasted burnt while the filing was dry. There was no gravy which was greatly needed. This is a choice that should be avoided. The staff were pleasant enough but all in all this is not somewhere I shall go again.

This place was always good when it was inside Wolden’s Garden Centre but now it has its own premises, it’s ever better. Great selection of freshly prepared food at reasonable prices. Coffee is also great (probably one of a few places in Enfield that can do coffee!). Really friendly service. If you’re in Crews Hill, definitely worth popping in.

The Redwood Bistro has moved from the garden centre into its own premises just a little further along the same road. I went there for breakfast on Saturday. Uniquely warm, Brazilian welcome and service, excellent coffee, great traditional English breakfast, spacious surroundings. It is just 5 minutes' walk from Crews Hill Station so very accessible to anyone living near a station on the Moorgate - Stevenage Line.

Great staff, lovely selection of delicious homemade food, sit on the veranda outside. What more could you want!
