Absolutely fantastic evening. The only thing missing was a gentle breeze and I could have been sitting on the Amalfi coast al fresco. The food was beautiful, the wine devine and waiters were so friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back soon.

Beautiful Food. The service was excellent from all staff. We walked in on off chance and they just managed to squeeze us in so polite and very friendly staff. The menu is excellent lots to choose from. The kitchen is an open kitchen so you see your food being prepared and also the smells of food are out of this world.

I came with my sister to this lovely and cozy Italian restaurant. It reminded me of my home in Italy. The staff were welcoming and friendly . The music was perfectly adapted to the location with the right volume . The food was very good . (I recommend linguine alla pescatora and bruschetta di mare🤤 ) The full experience is a 10/10♥️🇮🇹 Grazie e alla prossima!

Excellent meal. Our third time visiting. We went for lunch on Mother’s Day for lunch. Food was delicious. Service was very good. Our 7 year old and 4 year old were well catered for with smaller portions off main menu. Risotto with blue cheese was tasty. Frittura fresh seafood was also very nice. The restaurant was nicely busy with a good atmosphere and open kitchen. Well worth visiting and we will be back.

This is Enfield's best restaurant and always the loveliest place to go for a special lunch or dinner. The menu is filled with traditional Italian dishes with specials from Sicily and Napoli and the food is absolutely delicious every single time. The staff are attentive, welcoming and personable and the atmosphere is so cosy. Love the decor. Great cocktails and wine, too. We absolutely love coming here. The only difficult thing is deciding what to order! Highly recommend.

Lovely Italian staff, pure Italian flavour. This company is really impressive with their lovely Italian staff, pure Italian flavour. Demonstrating excellent professionalism and warm service attitude. They not only excel in their work but also create a pleasant dining experience for their customers. In particular, I was impressed by their excellent pasta cooking skills, each dish is full of authentic flavours, making you feel like you are in the culinary capital of Italy.

My second of what is going to be many visits. The food is outstandingly good. I eat out a lot, this place is becoming a firm favourite. The vibe is traditional trattoria without being cheesy. The service is so very friendly and accomplished. I would recommend it without hesitation.

Italian food is my favourite. And I guarantee you I’ve been to many Italian restaurants, but Marcus Kitchen Bar is by far the best Italian restaurant. The food is so fresh and tasty and especially the tomato sauce. You have to visit and when you do, you have to try their seafood risotto which was one of my favourite plates. The music and the atmosphere was so cozy and warm. And the service was amazing, and very friendly, constantly checking if everything is okay and if we need anything else. Definitely will visit again!!!

This is a restaurant that I wished was local to me so i could go to it regularly. It is casual and informal and the staff are very friendly and attentive. It is quite small and cosy which was great on a cold winter night and in the summer has an outside space which would double its capacity. This was my first visit but will certainly return

Went for a family birthday lunch today. As Enfield Town (out of the whole borough) is rather bereft of restaurants these days (no doubt for a variety of reasons) I would like to congratulate the owners of Marcus for taking a chance here. You will no doubt get increased business based purely on personal recommendations alone as the food is absolutely superb. We had a variety of dishes off the menu but I personally based my choices on the day's "specials". This included possibly the best fish soup I have had outside Italy "and" France, plus a flavoursome wild boar stew. It was refreshing to find a menu that actually comprised the full range of antipasti, primo, secondo and dolce. Please, everyone, frequent this establishment!

Came here on the off chance, myself and my partner had never seen this restaurant before, it is tucked away on the backstreet of Enfield town...as we approached I heard someone say Ciao to one of the members of staff, this made me think, this has to be an authentic Italian then...we approached and were greeted with a friendly Prego and shown to our table. Inside is nice and cozy, the decor is neither over the top nor understated, but just right...the menu isn't over complicated, the dishes are in both Italian and English. I was toying with the idea of having a steak, but in my mind I was thinking (who goes to an Italian and has a steak) one of the waiters recommended me a spaghetti and seafood dish, after asking if I like seafood to which I replied yes...the food came out in a timely manner, and it was clearly prepared from fresh, it was piping hot. I enjoyed every single mouthful. Would I recommend Marcus Kitchen and Bar, I 100% would, not only are the staff friendly but the food is fantastic...there are not many Italian restaurants in Enfield where all the staff waiters and chefs are Italian. You definitely should have a meal here at least once, I however will be coming back.

Probably my favourite resturant. Have been here a few times, most recently a few weeks ago for a friends birthday. The food is 10/10, the service is 10/10 and the atmosphere is 10/10. Yes its not a huge place, but it feels like you are on holiday in Italy and i much prefer that to a huge resturant where you cannot get the waiters attention. The open kitchen also adds to the vibe of this place and is a great visual. I must apologise though for how loud we were that night. We were the 4 ladies who sat on the right of the resturant as you walked in. My friend also bought in the HUGE birthday cake.

This place is an absolute hidden gem. If you didn’t know it’s there you could miss it. Situated behind the Enfield Market, it’s a typical Italian kitchen, with what seems like authentic home cooked food. I assume it’s family run as it has that feel to it. Service was 10/10. Nothing spectacular inside, casual but you are going for the food which is lovely! We had a variety of starters which were all really tasty, I had pasta as a main delicious which the owner recommended and didn’t disappoint! Food is fresh, portions for mains not huge but with starters it was enough. The menu isn’t big but I prefer that it makes me think it is freshly cooked and each dish is prepared with quality over quantity. Reasonably priced too. I would recommend giving it a try!!

A much smaller restaurant than I expected after looking at the website and menu online but it's cute and very Italian. My daughter said she felt like she was in the Disney movie Luca. The service is extremely friendly and the food quality is good buy overall there are some problems I would fix before I could recommend or return. With so many restaurant options available and many Italians to choose from, you have to stand out and I think Marcus falls short on a couple of things. Firstly the menu is somewhat limited and uninspiring given the costs of some of the options. It's a little pricey and the portions are not big. The second issue is that the mains come with nothing but the meat or fish described. I really find it hard to rate a restaurant high, who charge a high price for the dish but can't put a few chips/salad or veg on the plate. By the time you add them on it becomes a very expensive meal in quite a simple looking restaurant. With this in mind there are far better options locally that don't fail on the two things mentioned, so unless they are remedied, I will not be returning or recommending

What a little gem we have found...who knew in a turning off the high street you would find an authentic Italian Restaurant. The decor is beautiful and the service was second to none. Now the food. All four of us had NOTHING left on our plates...stunningly presented and so fresh like the fish had just come out of the sea. The restaurant was full but all the food came out at the same time. Fantastic place. As soon as you come in, you forget London and is like you are in Italy. Great atmosphere. Food is impressively good. Especially the polipetti and the mussels. If you are looking for a great place to eat in north London this is the right place.

Very mediocre food! Considering most of their pasta dishes advertise as having a homemade tomato sauce, they really lack flavour, very plain and not at all authentic! All of their pasta dishes taste the same! It's a real shame as it's such a cute little place!

Although we had booked a table we were seated in a dark corner at the back of an empty restaurant. We were told all the other tables were reserved. We arrived at 1pm and left the still empty restaurant at 2.30pm. A pity as the food was ok but we will not be back. I will tell other friends thinking of eating there to avoid this restaurant.

Finally I had the chance to try this little gem of restaurant with my family and we were more than happy to try some well done and well presented dishes. Thanks to Andrea for the suggestions given, and the service, really appreciated. We will come back soon.

Stopped by for lunch on Saturday and were really pleased with the quality of the ingredients used in the dishes and the friendliness of staff! We tried the gnocchi with salmon and burrata, and the seafood risotto - both were incredible. We also had the bread basket and rocket & Parmesan salad, also very enjoyable. Staff are friendly and attentive. Glad we stopped by for a lovely lunch on the weekend, will be returning in the future!

Epic hidden gem in Enfield Town. I stopped by the day before and spoke to Andreas who is a lovely guy. Booked to eat the following evening and it was amazing. The venue has a very Mediterranean welcoming feel... you almost forget you're in Enfield Town! I had pasta with baby octopus and my friend had the ribeye steal. Both were fantastic 👏 Will be coming back many times to work my way through the dessert menu 🍨
