Sea Fresh in Tunbridge Wells

this place is a great little village chippy. once you walk in you are greeted with a traditional vibe of a fish and chip shop. however, they also sell kebab. i usually order the doner in a bun which for £6 is definitely a value for money. they load it with doner meat and there is a wide range of salad and sauces on offer. another item which is a bargain is a large chips for £4 which with salt and vinegar are so comforting; the portion size is also INSANE! i love this fish and chip shop as it is so tasty and cheap. my only con would be that it is cash only.

Ot bad for fish and chips or kebabs

First time fir me getting a kebab here. My other half had lamb shish and I had chicken shish and a portion of chips. My Mrs was not keen on hers, she said the kamb tasted of Iron. I loved my chicken shish. Tender, tasty and fresh. I would prefer freshly cooked chips but that is always a question of timing. But I would return. Great to see paper boxes and not polystyrene.

Great value rusthall special, loads for meat juicy and tender, chips are always fresh chips edges and fluffy.

i had changed fish and chip shops due to moving house, however i’m glad i did. the chips from this place are amazing especially when drizzled in salt and vinegar. i usually order the doner in a bun for £6 which is loaded and you can add salad and sauce free of charge into it. the prices are so reasonable as a large chips only costs £4 for a super large portion. i recommend coming here if you are looking for an affordable chippy tea

Came here from southborough on a friend's recommendation, wish I hadn't bothered, 1/2 the chips where black, haddock was obviously frozen then over cooked, sausage I assume had been in the warm cabinet since yesterday. Never again

Popped in here a few days ago for fish n chips...freshly done to order and beautifully cooked, loverly mushy peas too.

Been there twice. Had fish chips the first time and they were disgusting. Had a kebab there another time and it was gross. Also the guy there is rude, aggressive and not very friendly. The attitude from him was just simply DISGUSTING just like the food he serves. My advice is to everyone is they should boycott that shop and let it go out of business because if you serve disgusting food with a disgusting attitude you do not deserve to make a profit.

I've been twice. Chips fresh both times but on one occasion I had a dried up sausage that had lost all its moisture from being stored in the heated cabinet for too long - I didn't eat it. The next time I had a pie (again very dried up) and that evening I had tummy pains and a temperature which lead to a week of me feeling unwell. Very disappointing and concerning. To the staff who work there, please consider the length of time you store your food and the health and safety of your customers.

Was once one of the best chippys about, I had a large haddock yesterday and you could of cut your toung on it. It so thin, the chips are still good though

The chips were mediocre but very sub par the fish however was a whole other story! Very unappetising it was hard in places and I’m not even sure it was cod and tasted very old! I’m not going back wouldn’t recommend I’ve had 1000000 times better

The food is really delicious but they have random hours. Open until 10.30 pm on a Friday so you go in at 10.15 pm and are told they are no longer serving food. At least lock the door so people know they are shut despite their hours being until 10.30 pm.

I went last week with a friend and one guy was insanely rude for no reason what so ever! I won't be going again to them.... Strange this is I've gone many times before with no problem. Ohh did I mention he tried to fight us outside the shop & was aggressive and intimidating for no reason at all.

My wife swears by their chilli and garlic sauce. They also sell halal sausages.

Quick service, good fish & chips

Don't know what happened to these chips but taste old... the only chips I have had that taste like this are microwave chips when there all soggy ... battered sausage also stale did not taste fresh

Ooh my I've never seen chips like it, looked like old chips cooked with new,&new meaning few days ago. My son had savaloy sausage and it was dry brown, I didn't let him eat it, hubby had fish didn't eat it, grey, thick with grease. Like chips. my whole family got something from here it was all wasted. DO NOT GO 2 THIS CHIP SHOP IT'S CHIP ROT. If I could up load what we ate I would, yuck disgusting 🤢 They don't even deserve 1star. YUCK

Fish and Chip / Kebab shop. An excellent range of stuffed pitta related meals; donner, chicken and shish options plus more. rusthall special not to be missed, every kebab meat known to man served with 3 pitta breads, a true man versus food challenge. Unable to rate the marine cuisine as untested so far. If you are seeking post drinking fodder, look no further than the Sea Fresh.
