Amazing food, location and service

I ate a Donner and chips, and a lamb kofte, so lovely, all food was so fresh and tasted amazing. Owners are so nice !

I've popped in randomly as I'm not from the area...All I can say is that the food is excellent and the most I liked is how the owners treated the customers. They are very nice and friendly...hat off guys 👍 Definitely I will pop in again with the next occasion.

We were surprised that to eat in is 10£, everything is nice but only that one, ofcourse you are hungry, sometimes you just eat and don’t read.. i felt i was trapped, but there you go,, for me? If I am running a business, the more important is customers comeback because they enjoyed, considering that strip of Darkes Lane have lots of competitions, Goodluck!!

Absolutely beautiful food very nice people I go there alot and never had any problems today's special was amazing.

The staff where amazing and good atmosphere. I ordered the chips and donner and it was amazing. I recommend any one who goes to potter bar to try this place out.

This was our first time eating here as it was recommended and we were very satisfied with just about everything. There was 7 of us and we all got cod and chips with all the extras. The cod was nice and crispy & well cooked, the chips were freshly fried and tasty. The service was also good they were friendly and asked a few times if everything was okay and if we needed anything else. Price was very reasonable. I will definitely be returning and will try something different. Oh and lastly the Turkish homemade dessert was to die for 😋 yummy. Thank you sea chef for providing a good service and great food.

Wow, just got the best fish & chips I’ve had in a long while, lovely people too, also got a lovely mixed berry crumble for later at home, to full to eat it yet!. If I could I’d give it 10/10. Perfect Thankyou 😋

The food is amazing, I recommend the chicken shish wrap, absolutely amazing and the staff and owners are lovely , anyone who goes gym and want your protein , I recommend get 3 chicken shish in one wrap,

Proprietors have full time cleaners explaining to me waiting for food which was on time ! I had fish and chips. Cod is cooked crispy and light 😋 a delicious taste I'm returning again for more food! Well done 👏 ✔️

This is about the fourth time my order has been wrong, this time they can’t even send a portion of chips that was ordered and yet they are quick enough to take your money. Food is good but can’t get orders right

Worse fish & chips I've had in years, haven't tried anything else, the fish didn't taste nice & the chips was tasteless how can you mess up chips? Couldn't pay me to return.

This place is amazing. We had eaten in and also had delivery for a big group of friends. So much choice and al freshly cooked to perfection. The owners are so friendly and offer so may specials on the weekend. A real gem of a place. Probably the best place to eat in potters bar

Always fast delivery, hot delicious food at a reasonable price. I have been getting takeaways from sea chef for a few years now and no complaints ever.

Great food, very polite lady on the phone taking orders, and all round great, get the mega burger!

Decent chippy/cafe with an eclectic menu as the proprietor is a Turkish Cypriot. Food was reasonable quality and value and was served in good time.

Just ordered fish n chips, the fish was hours old, it had dried and browned on the inside. Also the mushy peas were oddly watery. If you plan on keeping customers it'd be a wise decision to consider the quality of the food you serve them. I will not be spending my money here again.

First takeaway for me and my wife for nearly 3 years due to covid and being a little worried about eating out. We need not have been, we had a large doner and chicken shish kebab,it was fabulous, lamb and chicken beautifully cooked,fresh pitta,and lovely fresh fresh salad,delighted we tried sea chef and will be going back, delighted to have come across this place,staff are very friendly and the premises are beautifully clean,have found my go to take away Well done to the lovely friendly staff 5star + keep up the excellent work.

Any one who likes their food, I would urge them to stay away from establishment. The food was very poor. STAY AWAY

Worst chip shop in potters bar first order was cold then they redelivered. Then even forgot part off the order ,The sausage in batter snapped in half tolally dried out steak and kidney pie's also from lunch time dried out New chips frown on top of old chips never never again

Food was disgusting meat tasted like it and been sitting In a bowl of oil all day. X2 portions of Chips missing off the order. The wrap wasn't fresh. Sauce was missed of as well. And when chips did arrive later I wished that hadn't so will never use again shame

Sea Chef is as good as it gets for local fast food. Great food, lovely staff, always open, fast delivery, good prices etc. etc. etc. RECOMMEND!

Ordered food though uber eats, as it was just just myself eating and on just eat it is a minimum £20 order. Ordered a chicken sish kebab and a calamari starter. The kebab was 3 pieces with no sauce in a pitta, I did request no salad, and three pieces of calamari and everything was really cool like it was sitting around for a bit. When I phoned up to check the order the lady who answered the phone was rude and shouted at me when I was questioning the portion size. I got 3 pieces of calamari for £5.50 I thought you'll get about 5/6 pieces but I was rudely told it was fresh from their restaurant and any restaurant that gives more must be providing frozen fish. When I asked for a refund and told her I would be dropping back the order as it was unacceptable. I was again rudely told that as I ordered though uber eats I was to bring it up with them as its them I paid and I couldn't bring the food back due to covid. I said I would just throw away the order the woman just hung up on me. Will never be ordering from this eblishment again.

It was my 1st time to do take away Nice clean place and big portion good value for money. Lovely chips never buy McDonald it's a rip off. Nothing like chips from real potatoes yummy. I would highly recommend this place.

So we just had a delivery from sea chef and one of us fancied something different, so we had Macaroni one of the main dishes..... Well wow it was amazing I had it with the side salad and it was delicious. It was so nice I just had to ring sea chef to compliment them and I spoke to the lady who makes it, she was very happy with the compliment. So if you fancy something different I would highly recommend 👌

Always a nice and friendly experience when dealing with the Sea Chef. From the telephone call to the delivery great service and prompt too if you order at the right time. Food lovely right from the coleslaw up to main meals, fab.

Worst online order service I've ever known. Please do not use them. Took money for an order on there website and after an hour and 20 mins said no order had been received

My family and I love this place, their Pizzas taste like the ones in a Greece, their Fish & Chips are superb and their promptness in delivery is prfoffesional. I thoroughly recommend Sea Chef! Excellent service.

There are quite a few fish and chips shops in Potters Bar but I can say that is is definitely one of the best!

Just had a meal for the family delivered so nice to have a takeaway on time huge portions and hot wow driver was very polite I had half pounder meal amazing my son had kids meal he ate it all and my partner had the fish which she ate the lot we will be using the sea chef again guaranteed great service good food what more could you ask for

Worst service! When ordering was told 30-40 minute delivery, called after an hour told it would be 10 mins but on that call they also put the phone down and I had to call back. After 10 mins no delivery called again reassured it was on its way and a free starter was thrown on for inconvenience...order arrived after an hour and a half of ordering...drink was left out of order, one salad portion left out and surprise no free starter for the inconvenience! Portion of chicken sheesh was shocking (tiny)! Wouldn’t order or recommend them at all! Food quality could be better

Fantastic Restaurant, we always get something different as it is all as good as the rest! Definitely recommend giving these guys a visit for some food.

The woman manager needs a course in people skills as she is very rude and arrogant and didn't help at all when they screwed up my order. I definitely will not be ordering from here again if this is how customers get treated and it is a shame because the food was up to a good standard but the extremely rude manager let it down unfortunately.

I've bought take away a few times recently and these guys have been so good under the lockdown conditions. Delivery has always been on time (unlike some others), portions are generous, very generous, and zero mistakes. Always cheap too. It's rare to get a place that can do good kebabs and proper chip shop ships, but you can here. If you're hungry I'd recommend.

Food is always too a good quality enjoyed every meal I have had. Served with a smile :)

RUDE WOMAN I understand that there is social distancing going on but the main (maturer) woman kept shouting to stay apart ... The problem is that I had to come closer to give the order otherwise they cant hear. When I went to pick up the order she says to me again you should be 2m away and that I should know this due to my job ... But then how the heck do I pick up the order? as it is impossible to do without coming closer as you have to get the order from them, as they did not place completed orders in a special area where customers can pick it up (to keep the 2m distancing).

Best fish and chips that I know of...but you have to be patient as the fish is freshly cooked while you wait! They do other dishes like freshly cooked curry, donner, burgers etc. Take your own wine and make an evening of it!

Have ordered fish and chips home delivery twice now and both times it was fresh and hot...no complaints from me 👍

There is NOTHING fresh about this food. It’s the most revolting food I have ever tasted or seen in my life, let alone dare to feed it to my child. I truly doubt these reviews are by non bias friends or relatives as what I received today was shocking. The Calamari was frozen rings, brown and crusty and saturated in oil. The kofta was dried out and over cooked and looked like it was walked on and put back in the box, and the sausage was criminal to the point somebody should go down and do a health check on this takeaway venue. When we called to tell them we had received the food on this state, they wouldn’t refund us and blamed Just Eat, but asked ask NOT to put this review on the internet. My partner returned the food to them personally. I warn you, eat from there if you dare.. or like A&E

Great food. Had a large cod and medium chips and halloumi. Tasted amazing. Nice and clean too. Staff very friendly and they have been in the fish and chips business over 50 years as a family great place. I would highly recommend Sea Chef over any other chippy in this area. Also they don't charge for ketchup unlike some other places. :-)

This place is a new and welcome addition to the high street. The staff are all very friendly, especially Holly, and the food is great, I recommend the lamb donner!

Sea Chef we love you!!!!! Amazing food every single time.

I was dining and the old lady with the old man started shouting and fighting at the back. Highly unprofessional behaviour from two pensioners. The lamp doner also tasted disgusting like rubber. Place should be closed down as the food is not edible. I binned the food and decided to go to village mangal which is across the street much better quality food and much more fresh.

Good menu, loads of choice, everything tastes great, friendly staff...love this place
