Wimpy used to be a family favorite. Sadly, prices have skyrocketed into the realms of ridiculous and the quality has plummeted. Chips not cooked properly ( i always ask for well done), bacon looked like it had been cooked with a candle. Such a shame

Standard wimpy, similar to the cheshunt wimpy. Great food as always, great service, and great location. Highly recommend

This is the place to visit the food is excellent always fresh piping hot 🔥 staff excellent nothing too much trouble they friendly hands on with the customers they treat you like family my husband and I always there don't go anywhere else thank you so much

We have been coming here for some time , but not any more. On Friday i paid £45 for 3 burger meals and 3 chicken strips . That is clearly extortionate. Burger King would have only cost around £32 and they make much much better burgers. Madness beyond belief.

Food missing drinks spilled all over food I’ve never had this from wimpy before someone who hasn’t got a lot of money to spend £60 and not get them all was very disappointing Won’t ever order again

We never normally have to complain but order was late and cold, after reheating it buns were hard. This was due to driver having to do 2 deliveries on opposite sides of borehamwoood. Not very happy with this delivery.

Probably the best Wimpy I've visited for a very long time. The chips nice and golden. The burger nice and juicy.

I have not been to this branch before and i regret avoiding it. I had lunch with my family and it was great. Clean, tasty and served with a smile. Thank you to the waitress and the chef.

Always lovely food, hot, and a good choice, and will even make me a cheese and tomato omelette which I know isn’t on the menu. Staff are really friendly & professional creating a great buzzy atmosphere 👌👌 The owners always go beyond when I’ve came to eat here ⭐️

I take my good friend Laura to this place very often, she is very fussy but finds the food here absolutely gorgeous. Always nice and hot

Driver didn't deliver food and just dumped our drinks on the floor outside the house. Not happy at all!!!

The driver had 2 delivery the other delivery was the other side of the town so i got my food last and stone cold this has happened alot lately and feel your service isnt fit for purpose i might of well just put 15 pounds in the bin i am a regular customer of yours but i am starting to feel very disappointed with using you in the future.

It wasn't freshly delivered. Seemed that my food had sat somewhere for quite some time. I recieved a cold, soggy, flat burger with hard chips. I wouldn't order again.

Delicious small meal with a piece of fresh lemon, two sachets each of sauce tartare & salt, packed in a sturdy card box to keep it warm on the way. Was just right!

My chips where stone cold the bacon was burnt and the milkshake was the size of a kids drink a waste of £25 so experience for what i received

Why are there not more of these. I miss the 80s when plates and cutlery were still a thing and fu71ing up the environment wasn't the result of having lunch.

Honestly the best burger and chips in the are and the food always arrives hot and on time. I think people have forgotten how good wimpy actually is.

Had my last Wimpy about 50 years ago. Eating my Hamburger and chips brought back quite a few good memories. Food was just as good as was the service

Although the food and service is 1000 times better that the American competition just down the road, Wimpey is also a lot more expensive.

Delicious burgers, don't know why it's not more popular. It is quite pricey for what get, but Wimpy Wednesday. £7.50 Burger/Cheeseburger/Bendy in a bun, chips and drink!?! Come on..

Driver drive past my location lurked around at the top of the road then I saw delivered. Wasn’t delivered to me. Wimpy said there was nothing they can do. It’s down to just eat to sort it. Ridiculous service

This place has a buy 1 for the price of 2, get 1 free kinda vibe. You end up spending like £40 for what is essentially a glorified McDonald's. Other than that food is great.

To be honest this was probably more of a nostalgia thing for me. I used to go to the Wimpy with my dad, a lot when I was little and he always had a Wimpy special grill. Not much on thr menu has changed, but the Wimpy Special grill was just as I remembered it, eggs were much better and a lot less rubbery. Probably a little pricey for fast food, but still one of the best burgers around.

Must say this was not bad. Properly junky, nicely crisped brown bun, crisply done fries with nice potato scent, and manageable calories. Staff was friendly, respectful, and professional. Everything was piping hot and came out quickly, no gripes about my complicated customization request.

The chips were horrible but the rest of the food was ok and we were missing a 7up.6

Disappointing delivery. Unlike when I go into the restaurant - which is always good, the food was dry & not very warm. One of the burgers was wrong too.

Ordered 2 child meals. Supposed to come with a dessert. No longer an option to tick yes/no to desserts. So assumed it would just come with it. It didn't.
