Sea Breeze Fish & Chips in Pembrokeshire

The food was excellent and so was the service. Very friendly and helpful. Kids had colouring books to use. Loads of food. Very fresh and light batter on the fish too.

We came in for fish and chips for lunch whilst wandering around narbeth. The staff were very friendly from the moment we walked through the door, and provided a colouring book for our children. We didn’t have to wait too long for the food and when it came it was absolutely delicious, and the portions were massive! I would highly recommend this place.

Sat in the restraunt this afternoon, was pretty quiet. We were served straight away by I assume the manager. She was very good with our children. We ordered two fish and a pie and they were well presented on a big plate with salad and chips. The kids meal was huge!

We popped in today on our way back from holidays and had 2 breakfast. The food was fantastic, the coffee was wonderful and the staff made us feel so welcome from the minute they greeted us at the door.”0 Had time for a lovely chat. Wish you luck in your new venture guys.

Good basic cafe, offering a variety of quick dishes. The dfish and chipos were of good qualkity and well cooked.

All day breakfast consisted of 2 bacon , 2 sausage and chips . Whist there another customer requested an egg and advised it was an extra £1.20 . Also ordered their special …chicken shish kebab..garlic sauce very watery and small amount of chicken. Not worth the total price if £20.70 !!!

This place was clearly very understaffed with only one member of kitchen staff and one service staff. Our food took 30 minutes and was ridiculously overpriced for what it was. Unfortunately I think you’d get a better meal at Wetherspoons for half the price. All day breakfast only consists of bacon, sausage and chips, the chicken in the panini was hard and the chips were flavourless and undercooked. Milkshakes were lovely though and staff pleasant.

The cafe was so busy, but easy to order on line. The fish batter is probably the best I have ever tasted, the fish was beautifully cooked and the chips were amazing. The staff were working flat out, and even though there was a little wait to pick up the pre-ordered food, it was definitely worth waiting for! Portions were huge and so, so good, and we will definitely be back. Thank you!!! 👍x

My wife ordered our meal on line for myself and a visiting relation. Despite being very busy the order was produced on time and it was a veritable feast. Certainly some of the best fish and chips we have tasted in Pembrokeshire. Certainly we will return soon!

Just had to return my order as it was absolutely caked in salt! I like adding salt to food and have been enjoying fish and chips up and down the UK for most of my life.. returning them for too much salt was a first time experience for me! The waitress first of all refunded me and then started saying I should pay for the curry sauce and gravy as there was nothing wrong with that - I’m not sure if she wanted to me to take it home and drink it through a straw?! I ended up leaving the money on the till and telling them to keep it

"Best fish and chips in town" in the words of a friendly local I met while waiting for a my take away. He wasn't wrong- in fact I went back for some more chips a couple of nights later and my wife said they were the best she had ever eaten. All served by a very friendly lady from Turkey. Just one thing to note- while I was there they were cooking everything to order. You may have to wait 5 or 10 minutes but it means that your food is very fresh and far better as a result (relax- you're on holiday!)

Was extremely over priced for what the meals were. Paid £10 for sausage and chips and even bottles of water were overpriced. Wait for food was not bad but staff were not hugely friendly. Expect better for those prices! Should have gone down the road and had a full Sunday Lunch for the same price. The full meal description on the menu was also not provided. (e.g homemade coleslaw)

This is my first time in Narberth and since there isnt a massive choice for food, we opted for fish and chips. Initially we wanted to go to a different one a few hundred yards down the road but it was closed, so i googled and found seabreeze still open. Now i never normally leave reviews, but i just feel the need to as im struggling to comprehend just how BAD the food was. i went in 10 mins before closing so i can understand that they were preparing to close, but as a paying customer i dont expect what tasted like it had been fished out the bin and put in the microwave. The chips were soggy and had a horrible burnt after taste and the nuggets were as dry as ever and tasted like battered sausage? Binned the whole lot. Hopefully a one off but i would not recommend.

Brilliant service, staff reopened the door when they saw me coming even after they had locked the door, completely different attitude to the other chip shop in Narberth!! Food was lovely!! Will be visiting again!!

1 star ONLY because not allowed to publish with no stars Only place in Narberth serving coffee and cake indoors. What a disappointment. Coffee was cheap and very weak. The home made scones were in a different level! Probably made for Christmas 2019 and warmed up for us on 24 November 2020! They were like concrete! Totally inedible! You have been warned.

My wife and I enjoyed a quick cuppa and cake in this , fish and chip, restaurant, at a reasonable price.

We stopped off for a feed and didn't fancy stinking the car out with takeaway - so are in - good decision, fine cod and chips, salad, mushy peas £7.50 RESULT. Cake and a cappuccino to finish. Recommended.

We chose to order a takeaway from here because of all the good reviews. Unfortunately they were out of curry sauce, which was disappointing. Overall it was ok, but I doubt we’d have it again. We thought the chips tasted a bit funny. The staff were polite and helpful however.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We had fish and chips - even the child's meal was a good size. The lasagne was also good.

Just popped in here on our way back to our holiday cottage on the off chance. We both had cod and chips. The food was freshly cooked while we waited. The fish was was delicious in a lovely light batter. The chips were fabulous.Can’t recommend highly enough.

Friendly staff, good food and reasonable prices. Couldn't ask for more. Everyone enjoyed the takeaway ordered. Will go back for sure.

Ate here for the second time today and it was just as good as the first time. The food is simple but delicious and generous in portion. The real joy of this place is the friendliness and helpfulness of its staff, it’s no nonsense food and it’s very reasonable prices.

Ordered a delivery to our campsite, we were told there may be up to an hour wait but it came in 35 mins. All the food was lovely and still really hot. Kids had chicken burgers, chips and sausage in batter were good too. Greek salad was fresh and tasty. Staff friendly, definitely be ordering next time we come camping!!!!

This might seem harsh but as a traveler I rely on honesty on Trip Advisor to ensure my hard earned money is spent wisely. The lack of signal on my phone meant I ate the ‘food’ from here. I ordered the lasagna, chips and sausage from a very disgruntled pair of workers. To sense their boredom at my presence should have sent me elsewhere. The chips were awful, greasy, gritty and rubbery. The sausage had spent far to long under the lights and the lasagna was burnt. I could see them making it to order from pre cooked bolognaise and white sauce in a plastic tub in the microwave. It ended up Burnt to the point the plastic container it had been microwaved in had melted meaning my children ate melted plastic. It was not obvious until the last few mouthfuls. By this time we had left Narberth and the effort to return and complain felt pointless.What a wasted opportunity of business in such a nice area. Find staff that care and can cook and this could be a beauty of a place. Avoid at all costs, there is plenty of other options that I wish I had taken.

Very clean inside and a very nice young lady serving but the food was a let down.

This takeaway is next to the cafe on the high street. We had a lovely takeaway of Cod and chips, sausage in batter and chips. All where cooked to order so where super fresh. The chips were not greasy at all and the fish was also very good.

Whilst staying nearby we decided toneat in one night rather than go to a restaurant. Went to this place to get ourselves fish and chips. The wait for the food seemed to be ages. When we got back and ate our food it was still mainly disappointment. The fish wascquite good but the chips were hardvand barely edible.

On a horribly rainy day, this place was just what we needed. Huge portions, especially for the price! Lovely staff too!

I do not like doing this but Unfortunately I have to write a poor review.

On a rainy Sunday in Narberth when most of the shops and restaurants were closed we discovered Sea Breeze and had an enjoyable meal there. The staff were very friendly and the food was good. I had grilled Sea Bas, with a side salad and mushy peas. (Avoiding chips solely to keep the calories down). I would happily go there again.

We ate in the cafe, rather than use take away. The place was very clean and tidy and we were served by friendly attentive staff. The food though was a great disappointment - half of the chips were so thin and hard that we were afraid of breaking our teeth, so we had to leave them......the ham was only 2 small triangular pieces and was topped with an over done broken fried egg! The salad consisted of lettuce, red onion, 1 piece of tomato and lots of carrot. The haddock though was quite good, with nice batter, so if we returned, it would just be for the fish.

Probably the worst fish and chips I've ever had. The mushy peas were actually quite good and I ate half the chips but the fish was a disgusting Brown tail piece that looked too aweful to eat so it went in the bin. This is the problem with 'takeaway' the box looked good until I opened it by which time I was home 1000meters away. Not worth going back just put it down to bad choice of shop. Shan't be going there again that's for certain !!
