Sea Breeze in Waltham Forest

Check before you take home I ordered a large cod fish and small chips when got home open the fish two small pieces of fish charged me for large fish

Very poor quality food inedible

Filthy, I ordered battered sausage and he brought out a frozen sausage and placed it in a hand wash sink with no bowl and ran it through water and used his bare hands to wash the frozen sausage. Then he dipped it in batter. Never seen something so unhygienic in my life I ate it with my family and we all have bellyaches don't understand how a man can be so dirty. How can you put food in a hand wash sink where you rinse germ off. Will never ever shop there again.

I was in to buy fish and chips ,the smell was horrible inside the restaurant ,even I tell the guy why is so smell here bad ,like a urine , when he open the fridge more bad smell come out ! Omg 😳 Very dirty ,when he prepare my fish ,he doesn’t use gloves! Disgusting

£5 LARGE PORTION OF CHIPS AND A ROLL ..... chips were completely inedible worse thing I had to wait I thought I was getting fresh chips .... went straight in the bin

Had large cod and chips today. It was awful. Chips didnt taste fresh and some was hard. Fish over fried and tasteless. I paid £12 for it which was a waste of money and wont be going here again.

I had pie which the crust was rock hard and the meat inside was dried up probably been warmed up several times and I was the unlucky one to get it.

REALLY GOOD! FRIED AND FULL OF OIL! PERFECT!!! Best chip shop around! The best Saveloy like we used to get!!

Fish so fresh and delicious, best I’ve had in years. Worth the wait for it to be cooked fresh. Generous chip portions. Batter slightly greasy but then again I’m not buying a pan fried fish am I so this is how I like it.

Friendly staff. Been there 3 times in last 2 months and each time had to wait for food for over 10 minutes.

Chips were done while I waited, needed something quick after a long journey.

I used this place a lot, Now the food quality and portion sizes have gone down and the prices have gone up. Also they have just been inspected by Waltham Forest and have scored one star on their hygiene rating (you can check it yourself on the government website). I won't be using them anymore.

We often come here and collect always been friendly , good food.

Nice, friendly person served my girlfriend and lovely fish and chips at good prices. Will definitely be using this place regularly from now on as the F&C shop where I live in Wanstead is silly prices and well below average. SEA BREEZE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Very good fish and chips a decent variety of food, recently found out it's under new management and I have to say this new guy knows what he's doing because the food is just great

Our Cod in batter has consistently been absolutely dripping in grease to the point that if the paper bends it tears and the grease just drips off the tray I use. The chips are dry, old and withered consistently. My son thoroughly enjoys his chips and savaloy from here, he doesn't eat fish, we do enjoy a gorgeous lamb shish kebab from this shop. I don't enjoy giving our small local businesses bad reviews but on this occasion it needs saying. We've given them many chances thinking surely they'll improve, but unfortunately they haven't. Sorry guys we won't be coming back for our beloved fish and chips again, we'll stick to kebabs.
