Ordered fish and chips and a single batter sausage. Had to wait for about 10 minutes so thought it would be fresh. How wrong were we. Fish was yellow in middle and chewy. Probably reheated. Batter on both fish and sausage was overcooked and brick hard. Chips were overcooked. I wouldn't bother if you want something to eat. Our went in the bin. Inedible. If we hadn't been on route to a meeting, we would have taken it back.

I had sweet and sour special cantonese tyle and the plastic dish it came in was only half full. There was one prawn and some chicken and it cost £8.90. My wife had a mushroom curry which had aroud 3 mushrooms cut into quarters. This cost £8.10. One small pot of sauce (and I mean small) was £1.70. They have put their prices up and cut the size of portions and ingredients. They are using the cost of living crisis to their own dvantage. I will never be back.

Good quality Chinese and chippy. After moving from Perth , i thought i would try here rather than make the long drive to Perth for chips or Chinese. Was a bit worried that a place trying to do both would fall between the two , but no worries there ! Had a small fish supper and sweet chilli king prawns with rice. Both meals freshly cooked and tasted delicious. Nice portion size too. Shop is nice and clean and well kept. Plenty of choice on the very large menu. Definitely my local chippy/Chinese now.

Not sure how typical this is in Scotland, but would be the usual mix of chinese takeaway that serves english dishes and a full fish and chip shop menu. The one difference, it being Scotland, apart from Haggis on the menu, is that if you don't want batter on sausages or burgers you need to specify that! Batter available on most things, including battered pizza and deep fried Mars Bars. Really wasn't expecting a cheeseburger to be battered! My order was taken quickly, had to wait for things to be cooked fresh, which is good, and there are large portions. Good chips too. You are able to phone an order in in advance if you are in a hurry.

Stayed at hotel and had dinner there both nights. We both went for burgers the first night ( chicken and beef) they were both delicious, well cooked and filling. Second night we both had the Steak and Ale pie with mash, this was also delicious and piping hot. I couldn't finish mine and I like to eat! Staff were very helpful and friendly and service was excellent.
