Great food and lots of smiles from the staff.

I recently visited Jood restaurant for lunch, but I can easily see it being a great choice for dinner or brunch as well. The food was absolutely delicious, featuring first-quality ingredients that truly impressed. The restaurant was nice and impeccably clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere for any time of day. The service was fast and professional, ensuring we were well taken care of throughout our meal. Portion sizes were generous, providing excellent value for the quality offered. Whether you’re stopping by for lunch, dinner, or brunch, Jood restaurant is a fantastic option that I highly recommend!

Massively Disappointed. Paid £15 for taxi just to have brunch with my partner today. And it's closed. The least you could do is update online. Thank you 😕

Delicious halal food, served amazingly by professional staff. Loved the atmosphere and cleanliness. Went there for breakfast and definitely recommend it.

Service was great, food tastes average considering the price. Paid £20 for two beef hot dogs and loaded fries. The hot dogs were £7.50 each but unfortunately didn't taste gourmet like the price tag would suggest, they were gritty with not much flavour. The katsu chicken sausage fries were better but only because the sauce was tasty, however again the chicken hot dog was a let down, tasted frozen.

First time and certainly not the last. The menu was varied with multiple choice from vegetarian sausages to halal sausage. I had the best italian hot dog ever. It was VERY delicious 😍. Ist time tonight at the Sausage shack but not our last. A spotlessly clean place ,very modern looking. Prices reasonable and burgers tasty. Staff member brought our food to the table and was a very helpful polite man.

I recently dined at sausage shack at Manchester and it was a really good experience from start to finish. The hotdogs are deliciously crafted with fresh flavorful ingredients, the meat is really soft. The buns are fresh and soft and the prices are affordable. The staff were very friendly with an excellent customer service. I will definitely come back.

We reached out to Sausage Shack to cater from an informal office event for approx. 50 people. This was not something that they had done before, but you could't tell. Communications were quick, friendly and professional and they went above and beyond to make sure all requests were catered too. The food itself was delicious and was thoroughly enjoyed by all!! We had an array of hotdogs, sliders, and a build-your own nacho station. All freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Thanks again for going above and beyond team!

This was my first visit to this hot dog and burger joint. We went quite early, around 5 PM, so it wasn’t very crowded. My husband mentioned that the hot dog was very tasty. However, there was only one employee who had to take orders, cook, and serve the food, which seemed a bit overwhelming for them. Perhaps it was because we arrived outside of the typical dinner hours. Despite this, my daughter and husband were very happy with their meals. My daughter especially loved the cheeseburger, which had an abundance of cheese, making her extremely happy.

Pretty run of the mill spot, the food was decent and not particularly expensive. Easy place to grab a quick bite if that's what you're after

I was so excited to come here but the sausage is dry, we both had sausage dishes and the meat was cold and dry. I added an extra Turkey rasher to mine which was like Turkey scraps? Cold, dry shreds. No place to wash hands as the toilet was out of order which isn’t great for a place where you eat with your hands and broken Wi-Fi lol. The canned drink selection is decent. Save your money!!!!

We waited 25 mins after ordering and no food arrived. It took four requests from the cashier for a refund and an additional 15 min wait for refund. On leaving the cashier blamed us for not realising there would be a long wait. There were only three tables waiting when we arrived and we were not advised about any wait. No apology was given.

Most places claim to be the best but rarely you come across a place that truly delivers it's claim of best hot dog.

Hi I went to Ssusage Shack with Five friends the place is great , well presented, spacious and clean surroundings- we tried all the burgers they were really delicious and high quality meat. Made on site and fresh.

Went in was empty the guy at the desk was ignorant no vibe sat down and decided to walk out didn’t order anything

Came here recently and had a dreadful experience. Three of us arrived and two placed orders for hotdogs and were told it would be 15 minutes. After half an hour we spoke to Damien; the only person working in the shop and he hadn’t started preparing our food as there was an order ahead of us. At this point we asked for our money back which turned into an unnecessarily long process which involved phone calls being made for some reason instead of a straight swap of money for receipt. I don’t blame the one guy working himself for the experience but more the management team for just having one dude in the shop as he was responsible for making the food, serving it and then also taking orders, wouldn’t have been surprised if he hopped on his bike to do some deliveroos too. The delay in us getting our food lead to us missing our train and then had an adverse knock on effect for the rest of the day. No bueno

Great place to eat, well priced, decent portions and very accommodating with chopping and changing the menu to suit me. Ordered twice online then went and sat in on Sunday morning and definitely a top 10 spot in Manchester

This is a hidden gem found in the city centre. Ordered: Italian hotdog (frankfurter), Dynamite hotdog (beef), American loaded fries (chicken), Nachos (beef), Chilli cheese bites, Coleslaw and milkshakes. This place is so cute, nicely decorated and I loved that you can personalise the hotdogs. The milkshakes were a tad bit too sweet but hopefully they’ll consider that next time. I would recommend this place for a casual, quick fix meal that is tasty.

Amazing late night food, high quality and worth sitting in! - My friend and I got the oriental loaded fries with just a bottle of water, and it hit the spot! - Taste was good, portion was perfect, the quality was excellent. It was fresh, and the only limitation I would say is that there wasn’t enough sausage in the loaded fries (because it was quite nice). - Sitting in was pretty cool, good vibes/music, it’s very clean inside and it’s a pretty instagramamble place. - Service was excellent! Not sure if it was the owner or manager serving us but they were so friendly, and dedicated to making a nice dish. Thank you!

Went in right as it opened, chirpy staff, this helped create a nice relaxed atmosphere - made us a mocktail by my request and was reasonably priced. asked about food, were told there was no food that day, would’ve been nice to of known this before going in, a sign outside etc. overall a good spot in manc, just a shame we didn’t get to try the food.

The food was delicious (our group had a variety off the menu - beef burgers, vegan dogs and salad) and the service was excellent. We didn’t have to wait long either, we will certainly return!

It was cold weather outside, so my partner and I dived into Sausage Shack for a bite to eat and to watch the snow. We had a hotdog and Katsu, and they were both incredible, lovely young lady who served us. Thank you for being lovely

food was really tasty, but arrived late and cold. was told estimated delivery times but had no updates to say it would be later, and couldn't even see if the restaurant/takeaway was preparing the order. was about to give up on it being delivered then the driver (on a bike) knocked on. she was very polite and apologised for the late delivery but it was cold and after reheating in the microwave felt yuk and ripped off

According to their opening times, they should have been open during the day on Sunday, however they were not. If timings are not correct, they should fix them.

Honestly amazing food, the meat is so fresh and everything is made in house, including the sauces!! The owner of the shop was very welcomed as well as all the staff. Damian who is the chef recommended me the orientalist burger and I haven’t had such a good burger in a good time. For such an affordable price, you get the best quality food. I come regularly and they just had a menu change which is great. Would definitely be visiting more

Sausage Shack is a great place for anytime time of the day the food is great ! The location is very handy for anyone in the town centre . Even if you’re not in the town centre there is parking available on the road behind the place so very easily accessible. Great service from the staff and the owner is very friendly and is happy to have a chat with all guests . Would highly recommend

We came here at 5pm, breakfast was not available since 12am. The wonderful persoon(that you can see with the cap on the left)decide to make a breakfast for us and he was so Nice. The breakfast was really Nice cooked. Bread was perfectly crispy and buttered. Bean with sauce was perfect Mushroom was nicely seasoned Sausage was so Nice.. Doesn’t serve lunch until 12:00 so picked chicken sausage and chips from the snack menu. The sausage tasted weird and you get just one chopped up for £4.80 and £1.90 on top for a drink. Judge the photo for yourself.

Wow 🤩 what a find!! A new and innovative casual dining concept in Manchester City Centre the first of its kind to offer a menu based entirely on sausages and Halal too! First time I visited today and I had to order a Hot Dog , I opted for a beef hot dog loaded with onions, jalapeños , Mexican salsa and ketchup and mustard with a side of onion rings. And I have got to say the quality of the beef sausage was really good you could tell it is fresh and not frozen, and it was cooked on a grill instead of steamed, this was served on a gourmet brioche hot dog bun, over all the taste far exceeded my expectation it’s much better then those offered at Shake Shack and other eateries. The onion rings were nice and crispy. I was served by Damien who is also the chef and I also had a nice conversation with the Manager Waseem. Great customer service and really good quality food and good portion size for the price. Very quick service also from ordering to table took no more then 10 mins.
