Small restaurant but service is warm and welcome; more important food is very testy within a very reasonable price, a place in central Manchester, it’s a hidden gem!!

The food was fresh and tasty. I was very surprised by the quality! We tried the chicken schnitzel and Mix Jood special plater. Both delicious.

Food was amazing, First time eating in a Halal Restaurant due to myself reverting and i’ve never eaten such nice food in my life. Had to thank the chef himself as it was that good.

Good. Not quite a restaurant- not quite a fast food either. The burger was alright, the patty was not too amazing, but the bun and the other things in it were pretty good. Chips were standard frozen chips with some seasoning added. The place looks great and the service was quick. Nice touch that they had actual plates and cutlery, not the cheap tin or plastic trays that you see in fast foods. Overall good, but slightly overpriced. But what dinner out is not overpriced nowadays?

Worst food I have ever eaten wouldn’t even give to a dog. The Korean wings were too sugary the burger was too soggy and on top of that the hotdog tastes like a dog had shat it out. The decor was alright and staff were friendly until they got upset when we told them the reality of the food.

Had an evening meal here with a friend and it ticked all the boxes. It was relatively quiet when we got there and is likely busier during the day. The food was great, both in terms of flavour and portion size. The Korean chicken wings are a perfect starter (although a little messy). We each had two courses, a side and a soft drink for around £20 each - very reasonable in the city centre. It’s not fine dining but it does the job. The staff were friendly and attentive and the table and general space was very clean. Would definitely go back to try more of the menu.

Great food, and not hugely expensive!!

So we decided to walk in as it was empty and we had seen the place on socials. Decided to have the classic dishes, the server/chef recommended we get the jumbo versions which included chips, more meat and more naan so thats what we did. The food comes out and its still only 1 skewer and as opposed to extra naan it was just a quarter of a naan cut into 4 tiny slices. It was late so we ate as and on leaving I asked the chap why the discrepency in description and what we received, he said the menu isnt worded correctly and agreed the jumbo meal although more expensive just means you get some chips with it but less naan. The management need to fix up no wonder we were the only 2 people in there. The chap who served and cooked for us was a good man hence the 3 stars if it wasnt for him maybe 1 or 2 at most.

Ambience: Cosy pretty looking place and hygienic. Food: Really delicious. Halal. Good quantity (only the rice portion can slightly be increased in the loaded boxes to meet the rest of the meal). Honestly every part of the loaded box was amazing. Really affordable price. 10/10 recommended. Staff: quite good and cheerful including the chef. They take real time reviews for the food on the spot to see if there's any scope of improvement.

Got the Italian burger and the pesto sauce was very unique and very refreshing in the burger. The patty was nice and juicy plus the cheese sauce on the cheesy fries was very tasty 😋 will definitely be coming back again!! Interior design is also nicely done :))

This place is fantastic. We ordered the Italian burger, swiss burger and cheesy fries and everything was far above expectations. Toasted buns, fresh veges, delicious patty and cheese. Thought the fries would come out with the usual grated cheddar other places use but it was a nice nacho cheesy sauce which was great. Whole decor made the atmosphere very cosy and nice to eat in. Only thing was patty could have been bit more tender/juicy but for this price I can't fault it. Overall fantastic place to dine at, great value 5/5⭐would recommend! (15% Student discount too if you're a student)

Saw this place reviewed online so drove down from Bradford for dinner on a Saturday evening. Firstly the place was dead. We were the only 2 people there. Should have known. Secondly the food portions were ridiculously tiny. We ordered a platter which according to the menu was koftas served on a naan with lots of accompaniments. We paid extra for the grande one which stated you got extra meat and an extra naan with chips. We assumed this would be enough for 2 especially since I’m pregnant and not able to eat much at the moment. We basically got 2 tiny kebabs the size of my fingers and 3 small triangles of naan with a salad and chips. Waste of money. That means the standard size “platter” was 1 kebab and salad?? No way. Had to get food again once we got home. If you want good food stick to Bradford. Check out the pictures. Smaller kebabs I’ve ever gotten.

I tried the Dynamite Hot Dog and Dynamite Loaded Box at Jood, Manchester. The food was served quickly, piping hot, and tasted delicious, leaving us feeling full and satisfied. The service and welcoming staff couldn’t have been better, and we’re grateful for their hospitality. However, the food and menu felt a little too safe, lacking standout options or a wow factor to make the experience truly exceptional or memorable.

I have visited several times by now, and have had great service every-time! Would definitely recommend.

I recently visited Jood restaurant for lunch, but I can easily see it being a great choice for dinner or brunch as well. Service was great, food tastes average considering the price. Paid £20 for two beef hot dogs and loaded fries. The hot dogs were £7.50 each but unfortunately didn't taste gourmet like the price tag would suggest, they were gritty with not much flavour. The katsu chicken sausage fries were better but only because the sauce was tasty, however again the chicken hot dog was a let down, tasted frozen.

First time and certainly not the last. The menu was varied with multiple choice from vegetarian sausages to halal sausage. I had the best italian hot dog ever. It was VERY delicious 😍. I recently dined at sausage shack at Manchester and it was a really good experience from start to finish. The hotdogs are deliciously crafted with fresh flavorful ingredients, the meat is really soft. The buns are fresh and soft and the prices are affordable. The staff were very friendly with an excellent customer service. I will definitely come back.

This was my first visit to this hot dog and burger joint. We went quite early, around 5 PM, so it wasn’t very crowded. My husband mentioned that the hot dog was very tasty. However, there was only one employee who had to take orders, cook, and serve the food, which seemed a bit overwhelming for them. Perhaps it was because we arrived outside of the typical dinner hours. Despite this, my daughter and husband were very happy with their meals. My daughter especially loved the cheeseburger, which had an abundance of cheese, making her extremely happy.

I was so excited to come here but the sausage is dry, we both had sausage dishes and the meat was cold and dry. I added an extra Turkey rasher to mine which was like Turkey scraps? Cold, dry shreds. No place to wash hands as the toilet was out of order which isn’t great for a place where you eat with your hands and broken Wi-Fi lol. The canned drink selection is decent. Save your money!!!!

We waited 25 mins after ordering and no food arrived. It took four requests from the cashier for a refund and an additional 15 min wait for refund. On leaving the cashier blamed us for not realising there would be a long wait. There were only three tables waiting when we arrived and we were not advised about any wait. No apology was given.

Went in was empty the guy at the desk was ignorant no vibe sat down and decided to walk out didn’t order anything

Came here recently and had a dreadful experience. Three of us arrived and two placed orders for hotdogs and were told it would be 15 minutes. After half an hour we spoke to Damien; the only person working in the shop and he hadn’t started preparing our food as there was an order ahead of us. At this point we asked for our money back which turned into an unnecessarily long process which involved phone calls being made for some reason instead of a straight swap of money for receipt. I don’t blame the one guy working himself for the experience but more the management team for just having one dude in the shop as he was responsible for making the food, serving it and then also taking orders, wouldn’t have been surprised if he hopped on his bike to do some deliveroos too. The delay in us getting our food lead to us missing our train and then had an adverse knock on effect for the rest of the day. No bueno

This is a hidden gem found in the city centre. Ordered: Italian hotdog (frankfurter), Dynamite hotdog (beef), American loaded fries (chicken), Nachos (beef), Chilli cheese bites, Coleslaw and milkshakes. This place is so cute, nicely decorated and I loved that you can personalise the hotdogs. The milkshakes were a tad bit too sweet but hopefully they’ll consider that next time. I would recommend this place for a casual, quick fix meal that is tasty.

Amazing late night food, high quality and worth sitting in! - My friend and I got the oriental loaded fries with just a bottle of water, and it hit the spot! - Taste was good, portion was perfect, the quality was excellent. It was fresh, and the only limitation I would say is that there wasn’t enough sausage in the loaded fries (because it was quite nice). - Sitting in was pretty cool, good vibes/music, it’s very clean inside and it’s a pretty instagramamble place. - Service was excellent! Not sure if it was the owner or manager serving us but they were so friendly, and dedicated to making a nice dish. Thank you!
